| What grabbed my interest? I wonder. This anime has been in my "plan to watch list." Maybe because I heard that Ideon is more tragic than V Gundam. Year it's typical Tomino style. A boy pilots a gigantic robot by accident. I giggled when a afro mumbled "Yappari onna da na."! I'll go on. |

| Infamous Kill 'em All series and influenced NGE,let's see how this turns out. Has the same sexism that the original Gundam had and inadvertently hilarious deaths as well (that one guy that got crushed by the boulder). |
| Wow, so much violence! It reminded me a lot of 0079 and F91. Pretty good beginning for the series, lots of deaths and everything. I'm curious to know more about the Ideon itself. |
| Nice first episode. In a future humanity, the humans arrive, colonized a planet in Andromeda Galaxy... One day although a military registrer a excavation project, the ETs begin to attack, and for casuality, a group hide in a ET vehicles for the excavation...this vehicles are parts of IDEON!!!! 7/10. |

| Apart from the Transformers-like aesthetic of the "legendary giant", the jedi saber, the "Solo" planet and the Spock clones species, this looks promising. The mythological aspect in particular (it reminded me a bit about Mazinger's demon nature). It's funny that a single grunt started a war. The "You're a woman after all." felt out-of-place compared to Amuro's reactions in 0079. 4/5 The womeninterprets sounded familiar, in particular the voice with a diction à la Mirai. edit: Mirai and Sayla voice actresses. ^^" RX-782 said: The aliens are basically just humans. | it sucks that they just started shooting and starting a war out of nowhere, those troops may have been ordered to follow or whatever, but i'm pretty sure they didn't get any orders to attack. now both of the whole planets are going to be at war from these no-brained baboons. (clap clap clap) gonna be the spiderman pointing meme in action i'm interested in the government seizer guy (?) and kurala, she seems to be the token female noble/royal alien planet pacifist in every mecha anime. |
