| Rewatching this, I still hate how they ruined the moment where he finds his mother from the original manga. It could have been more impactful if they kept it as him being in shock, calling out to her, crying and then running chase to the killer. Instead of adding the killer passing by, the neighbor coming in and the cops instantly stopping him. Horrible change. Other than that, even though some details are left out, the rest of the pacing of the anime and the adaption overall is still very good. |

| Not a fan of time travel. They only have one thing that it's time travel (obv). Mystery is what I'm mainly picking it up for. Also popularity and it's seinen. |

| I was on the edge of my seat the whole episode up until you-know-what happened. I'd have to rewatch it to remember for sure but I'd say the soundtrack, muted colors, and listless voice of Satoru were rather influential in setting up the apprehensive atmosphere. I also really liked the art style, simple but clean, and I liked the shapes of the eyes. |

| That is one way to draw you into a series. No need to watch 3 or more episodes to decide it it will be interesting, this one grabs you right from the start. |

| Really gripping intro to a psychological mystery, but man that Revival sound effect is loud. Also that mom is really cool all around |
| Great episode, really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the inclusion of the mother in the narrative. I'm so tired of anime where the young protagonist seemingly has no parents. Although the plots are drastically different I still got 'Signal' vibes (Kdrama). |

| rewatch but basically blind. pretty cool episode. upsetting ending but she comes back soon. luckily i forgot how this show ended + outro is a throwback |
