Wow, this is the first time i saw rika going mad!!Pretty scary..
And what is going on in this world?Everyone is turning good and trying to help in the "right " way? It's about time they took the matter in their own "hands", if you understand..

I keep yelling at Rika through my screen to just tell everyone EVERYTHING! I know it wouldn't solve anything, but since she has so many tries in reliving that world, telling everybody everything she knows wouldn't hurt if she did it once, right? Well, I would have a different plan in each world to see which one was effetive or not. Some people might not be getting what I mean, though >.<

You realize she said she'd been at this for over a century right? Repeating the same two-week period? That's over 2600 iterations. No wonder she's so bored. Everything we've yelled at her to do she's tried probably dozens of times. Telling everyone everything is probably something she's tried a bunch and it totally failed every time.
Technically, she's lived longer periods of time before. For example, in the fourth arc of season 1 Akasaka arrives to Hinamizawa 5 years before the events where she dies and she already knew everything, and told him all. So one could think that she could relive longer periods of her life before (maybe to way before the beginning of the murders) and that their power to go back in time waned over the 100+ years she's lived. We can also assume she's tried to tell the truth to Akasaka and other people aside from him more than once. She certainly told Akasaka enough times for it to become a permanent event.

Hm....Shion/Mion are the only ones who have not felt things from "past worlds." Shion's murderous/psychotic nature rearing its ugly head in this episode is not a good sign. Its surprising, considering I believe her arc in season 1 would leave the BIGGEST impression on any of the characters.

Rika's sudden shift in personality with the doctor and Takano was a surprise as well. I am starting to feel that maybe SHE will be the on who commits the "massacre." Reason being that she is so fed up that she goes crazy. I am really hoping this is not the case, as she is my favorite character by far.

"You will burn in the mountains! You die of narcotics!"

I could try to understand Rika's frustration, but I obviously can't, but I will say that I can understand what it's like to be that frustrated. (Yes, I know that sentence makes no sense, I just can't word it any better.) I at first gawked but then I laughed because it was just like a big "fuck you!" to everyone that supposedly has the power Rika needs, haha!!

I kind of like Shion's compassion for Satoko during this arc. She keeps defending her when we've been so used to her hating her guts for what happened to Satoshi.

I was kind of shocked that Satoko's uncle did come back, regardless, though it shouldn't have been surprising. I knew it was going to steadily work it's way downhill since everyone else's problems seemed okay now. Buu.

So far I'm not really feeling this series as much as the first one, but at least it's satisfying my curiosity for the storyline. Also, I lol'd at Rika going mental at Takano and Irie.

Just when you thought everything was going great for Rika... that purple hair chick is murdered and Satacos uncle returns XP it was interesting seeing Rika all mad though... like when she totally had a breakdown infront of Takano and Irie!

or maybe her intense voice is only associated with when Rika is not 'happy'.

This arc about the uncle coming wasnt fully explainable from the failed similar arc where it was Keichii who killed the uncle and yet his body was dug but later gone and it was later explained that during the festival 'another' Keichii was in place of the real one.

Whats up with that!

But this episode so far is awesome and glad to see that Shion didn't go to her murderous killing spree and being all bitch like and stuff.

Guess who's back?

Well it can't have been that much of a surprise, seeing as Satoko was the only one who's troubles haven't yet been resolved. Teppei's back, Rika's back to her regular mopey self, Shion wants to take the easy way out and Keiichi shows just how awesome he can be.

Also Keiichi's father looks a lot less.. extravagant than in the manga.

Keiichi is a badass. He'll be a main part of solving this! :D

LOOL I like this new Rika acting with all effort to change her fate.

But i think it's unrealistic and dull that she needed 100 years of repeating this same story just to start doing something to change it...........

Rika dont give up ! Keichi power to the max !
But why is it that after 1000++ worlds they all start remembering just now ? And why didnt rika ever thought of just leaving hinamizawa and go anywhere else ? Why cant she ? (Random question time :P)

Maybe if Rina doesnt die Satokos uncle wont return ? Thats what they have to prevent in the next arc?

I thought Rika is the one who will go bat-shit crazy from that scene with Dr. Irie and Takano.

I don't like this episode, the characters action didn't make sense (except for Rika), like Shion sudden rage, willing to even go as far as to say she will kill Keiichi, in the past, her action could be dismissed because of the virus, but she did seem like she was taken over at that instance, and if nothing happens to her like what happened to her in the past, then I will be disappointed. Not only that, people here, eh, not even adults, just high schoolers, talking about killing and murder as if it's the norm.

Okay, because Keiichi gave Mino the doll, it avoided the crazy killer Shino ending. However, that led to the uncle abuse, and now Keiichi was able to talk down to find proper ways for him and friends to save Sakoto. I can by that.

This is turning weird.
From the drama of the beginning, we're going into a more plain drama that can be seen in any generic anime.. but I think this is needed for what will come next..
Wanna see how it will turn out.

Shion is a time-bomb, she has a very sucking self-control.

I still hate Keiichi for his stupidity in previous arcs, but in this arc really is somewhat cool. Taking a chair to the head like a boss, not even bothering to block it.
Avoided Shion going on a killing spree again, first the doll and now here. Good job so far, Keiichi!

but still this doesn't say who is actually conducting the mysterious murders in this village i know their reason because they need a god to cover up their parasites research but exactly are they???? :3

Oh shit, doochenoozle is back and he's here to wreck Satoko again.

I didn't expected Rika to lose it. She's been pretty strong so far, but she keep seeing the same things happen again and again.

The main problem for Rika is in her own group. The fact that there is always someone to go crazy always bring the chance of succeeding to zero. Their real enemy is themself. Also, if they could trust Ooichi a bit more...

But in the end, this arc is called Massacre, so it can only end in the most awful way possible...

Angry Rika was fucking scary...

Hanyuu may be the cutest girl in this whole anime ♥

Takano still makes me moist seeing her in a nurse's outfit * o *

Keiichii definitely scored some points with me after seeing him tank that hit from Shion like a badass.

Rika and all her friends are determined to save Satoko from the clutches of fate. I wonder if they will succeed? Makes me wonder if anyone will die because 3 episodes in and no one has died so far.

Great episode yet again!

^One of the more essential truths, lol.

Well, this looks like a stalemate. Rika's confiding in Keiichi; But how far will Keiichi lead the team? Don't get me wrong, Keiichi was boss in this episode. He took that chair to the head just for the sake of calming Shion down. That's some major guts there knowing she could pull out some taser or some sneaky stuff like that.

I can understand Rika's desperation. Again, 100 years going through the same timeline over and over? It's only natural that she can't believe it at times. A way out! Or is it?

I gotta admit, damn Satoko getting in the way with that sleazy uncle of hers. I guess its the trauma, but still. She's the only one holding the whole crew back. Will she be the downfall?

Higurashi's classic tactic: some questions answered with an equal amount of more questions.
