Main character follows the typical trope of being in the lower echelons of society, which is repeated a tiring number of times throughout the first episode. After almost dying, the MC is being blessed by a girl elf/angel/whatever with an incredibly docile attitude, and of course with weird moaning and blushing. The character gets almost killed again, and once again is healed by the same angel girl whose dress is hanging on for dear life.

It tries to be "brutal" in the way the main character is repeatedly and pointlessly slashed and decimated, only to be healed again. Perhaps to appeal to an edgier fanbase, as if that makes up for the rest of the lacking plotline?

It is pretty predictable, this is setting up to be a mediocre fantasy harem which follows the same tiring trope seen in other fantasy. The gimmick being that the main character can appraise things, which in itself isn't innovative compared to other fantasies/isekais. I will continue watching but I don't have high hopes for this.

That felt like the game where a group of people sit in a circle. Someone tells a piece of a story and then the next person adds to the story. You go around the circle with each person trying to 1-up the previous snippet. This was a visual representation of the string of nonsense produced by that game. Though, often times the result of that game is pretty funny and entertaining. I would say this was one of the more entertaining 3/10 episodes I have saw. All for the wrong reasons, of course.

I could predict everything that was going to happen and just skipped toooooooo obvious and generic. Here's hoping it gets better because if not then it's just another copy-paste generic series with nothing of interest to offer

The main guy didn't have any other choice other than jump. That, right there, could make the most satisfying revenge I might be watching in this season.

And to add sweetness, since we are in full elf season, we have one for the wholesome moments because not everything should be blood, right? (This, by the way, has tons of it so keep that in mind. It's almost the "fatality" kind, which is pretty cool but not everyone likes it)

The people who spent their time on this torture fest would have made better use of their time if someone had allowed them to help with and work on one of the many better shows that are suffering with crunch.

Let's see what the next episode has in store. Overall, I can't wait for this era of cosmically mistreated protagonists, and extended torture scene is over. Thankfully, it doesn't yet look like this protagonist will use this experience as an excuse to become edgy, but it remains to be seen.

actually it's not that bad. the main character despair is so real. i can sympathize to him. the heroine looks like asuna. so far this one is good fantasy anime winter 2025. i know it's LN adaptation, but i hope they use character development to make it good zero to hero story. not the generic one.

Episode 1: Chad and Stacey take the Virgin MC to a dungeon and feed him to dogs.

These mistreated and abandoned in a dungeon shows probably identify something wrong in society... they're not all that sympathetic though.

Lol, this shit again, where the mc treated like a asswipe in a whole series AND got dump by his subordinate also his uncomming friends i guess.

Well, another shit isekai series again, i thought this would be an easy and fun series to watch before sleeping, But instead to fall asleep, I got a nightmare about the MC story.

I prefer to read manhwa again than watch this shit like a crap.

And whoever read this comment, i don’t recommend this series if you’re looking for some fun and easy anime to watch.

My opinion this series would be 4/10.

I got a lot of questions how anime studio these days take new manga instead to continue more potential manga or anime before.

Because, i feel like manhwa these days more fun and interesting to read. I don’t know about the facts that manga are flop or anything else.

But yea, let’s be honest JUST READ “The Greatest Estate Developer” and “The Heavenly Demon Can’t Live a Normal Life” guys trust me 😁

This first episode was enjoyable for the most part, MC's first party were some assholes and I'd be lying if I said I didn't want him to extract some kind of revenge on them. Ein has some terrible luck, he gets left behind to die to the hell hounds, jumps off the cliff to kill himself, gets revived only to damn near die again to a S-rank mob. I am curious to see who rescued him from the S-Rank and the motivations of the elf that revived him.

Well, this is kind of ass. I guess this will turn into a low-quality harem thing?

Also, I can't even be mad at his party members because of the bad quality. It's like watching someone with subpar acting skills act like how they think a bad person would be.

It reminds me of another story where there was no sense of dosage, and you had similar stuff on the FIRST episode we're still waiting for season 2. Well, I doubt we'll get season 2. But hey xD

this episode was disgusting lmao
i skipped the 2 parts with gore and i still wanted to stop watching...
that couple, it was obvious they would find something bad, otherwise ofc there wouldn't be a bunch of corpses there, but ofc they were stupid... and mc is the one who suffers... i hope we see those 2 suffer later lol

anyway, after finishing the episode, since now we met some of the other charas that are on his team in the opening, i imagine the next episode will be 100 times better, that's the only reason i actually didn't drop this after finishing the episode
favorite "new girls" from fall <3 (lol i only watched these) ... click sig for older seasons

After watching that ending I'm already regretting my decision to start this. The person that stepped in was extremely annoying in their 2sec of screen time. Feels like he won't earn and/or learn anything but be given power... hope I'm wrong.

@Red_Ranger_Wien Being an "isekai hater" is one thing, but to bring it up on a show that is not even an isekai, acting like "This is so bad, I am surprised it is not an isekai", makes no logical sense, especially since in recent years, some of the most successful anime, have been isekai.

As I start the episode, I realise: once again an anime that starts with spoiler.

I do not understand, why in the world do some many anime, manga, light and visual novels, always start with freaking spoilers??? It just ruins everything that will come after, any twist, any character drama since you know it will happen and the outcome. It just freaking ruins the story. At least this on is tame vs other anime where you are shown last boss scene (aka scene that will happen 10+ episodes later) or conclusion (aka after watching the whole anime, you can watch the ep1 intro because that is the epilogue of the last episode)

So... MC drops down the cliff and into a platform with a tree and water on it... not only that but where's the Sunlight and water coming from? LOL... (they were literally in a dark cave, no light or water anywhere... especially when MC falls down...)

The platform also seems manmade... it's obviously not natural.

And MC also gets saved by some random sexy Elf (Tree)... and a kid?

.

Also, it looks like his "strongest" was actually upgraded by others and not his own.

Since his eyes (where his skill comes from) got destroyed, and then he was healed and now got color eyes...

This means the skill he originally has was still the same "worthless" in their world. It only become "strongest" after getting upgrade by a 3rd party, he didn't even attain it himself, it was given to him by a sexy Elf.

.

Which means the Title for this series isn't True.

It should be:

"Even given the worthless "appraiser" class, I got upgrade by a cute elf and become the strongest"

(MC didn't earn the power himself, he was literally given it by someone else)

Animes like this are so bad I cut it short from the scenario and character portrayals, first he will be treated badly (but they exaggerated so stupidly) then he will become very strong and go around gathering women around him and the blonde will be the shy one who will have true love and the end.

Well I guess the time has come for me to return to this year’s winter season, one of the cool things about not watching every anime under the sun is that there’s stuff to go back for when a season ends. And this show in particular wasn’t really one that caught my eye, but crunchyroll kept shoving it in my face when I opened the app and I started it accidentally once, so I decided why not go ahead and watch it lol, and I gotta say this was a pretty strong start. The concept of the show isn’t breaking any new ground by any means, we’ve seen it before, weak character is actually the strongest character, but at this point it’s not really that common trope that makes these types of shows interesting, it’s everything else it has to offer, and imo this first episode had a lot to get me interested.

First off, damn were those some mean assholes or what lol, like unreasonably mean, true blue dickheads, but there’s something I like about that, there is no gray area there, they are just ruthlessly mean people and that’s that, I think it really helped in setting up how unfortunate our MC Ein is. And speaking of how unfortunate Ein is, holy shit this dude got the works, like absolutely brutalized lol, bro took two steps away from that tree and got mauled, it may have entered the realm of torture porn but I really liked the shock factor here, it’s just not something you typically expect to happen to an MC of these kind of shows. And wow that is quite the beautiful babe that’s taken a liking to him, I’m sure from here we’ll find out how Ein’s skill is actually great and whatnot but man I really did like this start, hopefully it keeps the momentum from here.

And that OP and ED combo was pretty fire, I really liked them both, but what really surprised me is that 22/7 is doing the ED, I was like “huh???” I didn’t realize they were doing songs for other shows now lol, I remember enjoying the show about them quite a bit, quite the blast from the past but they did make some great music, so if I get to hear them again like this, I don’t mind at all.
