I know this is a troll post, trying to provoke people, but this time I’ll take the bait, I have been enjoying this anime
Perfect example of anime bias due to “surface level similarities syndrome”, which automatically shuts off your brain from thinking and prevents you from seeing anything else unique to the anime.
- Eisegesis (what you are doing), reads into the text what the interpreter wishes to find or thinks he finds there. It expresses the reader's own subjective ideas, not the meaning which is in the text.
- Exegesis (what you are not doing) is legitimate interpretation which ‘reads out of' the text what the original author or authors meant to convey.
All anime are influenced by each other, hence why they all use similar ideas for their stories, this is to be expected of anime in the anime business, so this claim is completely irrelevant.
Yes, the character types are “similar” to other anime, but all anime use similar character types, so this claim is also completely irreverent.
You are blind to how these character types are written and used in this anime, which is far better than how other anime wrote and used these same character types.
The male MC is not an “otaku” and the female MC is not a “bully”, you are not following the story, you are just assuming and reading into the story, which is causing you to miss how the MC characters are complimenting one another and helping each other grow.
If you can name one anime without any “innuendo jokes” at all, I would be completely surprised. Besides the jokes in Dandadan are not nearly as bad as other anime, the problem is that you are just being immaturely sensitive.
If an anime is not a historical piece, serious drama, or horror, then the majority of the remaining anime usually all have a wacky plot, so again this claim is completely irreverent.
Most anime are unrealistic, unrelatable, and purposely over the top, that is basically a staple of anime.
Dandadan has not been “predictable” “repetitive” “tiresome” “boring”, the problem here again is you, because you are not even trying to follow the actual anime story or looking at the unique differences that make this anime enjoyable, while others are not.
As I said above, you are reading into the story what you think is there, so this is causing you to miss the actual story that is being presented in the anime.
With the recent episode, again you are the problem, due to your complete lack of empathy and being devoid of a heart.
All you saw was a “shonen sex worker”, do you even have eyes, ears, or a brain?
They showed a loving mother that was very poor, who was being forced to use her body to make money, that just wanted to support herself and her daughter, but was mistreated, beaten up, left for dead, and had her daughter stolen from her, by the corrupt greedy evil creatures controlling her life, dying with hate and anger in her heart, which caused her to become this being, but the only ounce of happiness after transforming, was when an innocent girl who was kind to her, whom she swore to protect.
Then they show the pink haired female — who turns out to be the girl that was kind to this being, but is now a narcissistic dense teen — go from trying to exorcise the being, to fearing the being, to almost dying, then knowing that the being gave their own life to save her, finally realizing what was actually happening, remembering her own childhood memories, then seeing the mother’s own memories, so the pink haired female sympathizes with her situation and chooses to comfort the woman as she dies, lifting up a prayer so the woman’s soul could find peace.
A person that watches these two last episodes and gives such an insanely cheap inhuman description, of what they saw, should seriously take a step back and reevaluate their own personal perspective on life and their own lack of humanity. |
