| I binged the first season a few days ago. I didn't continue it for some reason when it was airing and only watched up till episode 9. I really messed up there as it just way better in terms of story progression and fights as well. Great start for the second season, quite flawless I'd say. It doesn't feel any different and the animation is great. |

Sure didn't long for Sunraku and the gang to return to their adventures again. Speaking of which, Sunraku wants to get stronger again and right off the bat, they meet a golem monster.
So already, this episode didn't hold back on the action and has a similar tone compared to season 1. With the momentum they have right now, I expect rest of the season to be just as wild.

| Great start. Loved the usual adventure and amazing action in this episode. Amazing animation. Sasuga C2C. Emul is as adorable as ever. Can't wait for more and see where their adventures leads them this time around. |

| Better late than never, as a wise person once said. The last season was pretty good, so they just need to keep that momentum up with this season. How hard can that be? Welp, not too long. Still have to wonder why the normie gamer girl is wearing dress clothes to lay on her bed for Shangri, but guess she's comfortable with that. Starting the episode out with the flashy fight from the first season, I approve of this. Just a couple moments of recap to help freshen the memory. The Ruins of Past Glories do look like the place of artifacts for days. Escaping the twintail professor dude to get to the good stuff. Even got the flashy fireworks from the PV in here a couple minutes in. Shangri still has the beautiful visual touch. From the dragon slayers to the bomb spiders. The giant one may as well be a walking factory, spitting out bombs a second XD W for the cat to take down the vantage point. The Glowing Pierce from the Decapitator was perfect. All these beautiful scenes from the first episode. Interesting how all these golems drop mini idols. And Sunraku has followers on his tail.. just his luck. |

| Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 - Episode 1 Review Season 2 is off to a good start! The opening by LiSA is, as always, a banger. I love how it picks up right where season 1 left off – the continuity feels smooth, and the animation is still looking great. The episode itself wasn’t anything too intense, but it feels like it’s building up to something good. There’s a nice hint at an upcoming fight between Sunraku, Arthur Pencilgon, and Oikatzo, which has me excited to see how it plays out. I’m expecting things to ramp up in the next few episodes. Overall – solid 8/10. Not super exciting yet, but I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes! |
