The manga is complete.. what a journey! I really enjoyed the manga overall, but the last arc was so-so and the ending was not really my cup of tea. I honestly would prefer if Yato and Hiyori didn't meet again and lived in their separate worlds or that Hiyori would end up as Yato shinki.. Maybe we will get some extra pages for the last chapter when the volume gets published??

I understand that the author wanted to wrap it up due to their health problems. I hope they have some time to recover now, and thank you for giving us Noragami.

I read AoT so I can hate on it.

@lahbonie THIS!!! I also watched Noragami when I was in high school. I loved everything about it, especially the relationship between Yato and Hiyori, and I really wanted to see a season 3. Still, it never happened, so I was really sad when I heard about the manga ending. So, everything you said resonated deeply within me and made me emotional again because I won't be able to see any more of their stories 🙂. I really wanted to see a romantic ending for Yato and Hiyori because I loved them so much ever since the start of the anime. I hoped the manga ending would've had more interactions between them, like maybe Yato marrying Hiyori after becoming human. I know that's just me wanting to see more of my favorite couples, but I still hoped they would at least show some more interactions between them in the last chapter instead of ending it just there ):

@s1k1b Yes, let's hug each other... I'm bitter sweet cause we will never have more noragami chapters to cherish and hope for cute lovey dovey moments of Hiyori and Yato...

WHY.... WHY....
Yato and Hiyori didn't fkn confessed I'm so done man please give us one more chapter to show what happens now, to them when everything is settled.
You can't just shove this in my face with many more references of showing them together like tying marriage knots and not showing a single thing.

@Furuhashi1 I know, right????? I wanted to see more interactions between them because I ship them so badly, and I know everyone does, too. I wanted to see them marry, like Yato becoming a human and marrying Hiyori, but all we got were some empty feelings. Well at least I did because I wanted something more 🙂

Author surely love bitches more than their main characters isn't it? That Nora bitch even after all the trouble she had given she never got any appropriate punishment but for the plot convenience there is always an idiot who ends up falling for these bitches out of stupid sympathy he either helped the bitch to be included in the heroes team or he'll go against the heroes team and look now that bitch had not only got a good ending but also in the illustration as one of the heroes she got everything without getting a proper beating or slaps and this part is almost common in many stories that I dislike alot.

YES! MEGA HAPPY ENDING! Lmaoooo
I'm so happy lol I was ready to accept a bittersweet ending with Yato dying to save Hiyori, but Yatos entrance was glorious being smacked by Vina. Then I was ready to accept Hiyori would move one and forget Yato and we get this ending. Very heartwarming and wholesome, loved it.

Noragami is a story about overcoming your past and changing, Yatos story struck a cord with me and his redemption left a huge impression on me, his speech at the end of season 2 of the anime when he comes out to Yukine about what hes done and been doing and how he wanted to change was very beautiful, and how he went on to become better and change. Noragami always had this message of changing and moving on to me, even if Yatos example was fantastical and extreme its something easily relatable, and I would be lying if I said Noragami never influenced me in changing and bettering myself in my small puny reality. Its an inspiring story and I enjoyed it very much, really appreciated this positive tone ending.

I can't believe that is over, it's been so many years and that's why I thought the ending would not meet my expectations but it did! It was bittersweet, I cried a lot but it soothed my soul that in the end they were fated and meet again. The author made a wonderfull story ❤

No me gusto el final, necestiba mas explicaciones de lo que pasaba con Yato y Hiyori. Dejaron el final muy abierto. Por ahi el amor de hiyori se podia convertir en una excepcion o algo.
De todas formas me alegra que alfinal Yato tuviera lo que se merecia una familia y ser parte de lo que fue "creado".

It was such a beautiful ending! Didn't expect to be a win-win for everyone that matters, really, but seeing that even after so many years, Hiyorin still found Yato (that was already looking over her, hah) and mann, so beautiful!

For a series that was amazing from the start, that ending fell way short of the benchmark. After all the foreshadowing about Yato and Hiyori as soulmates, nothing was done about it and it is left to the reader's imagination. Instead of giving a closure to Kazuma and his efforts it was turned into a point of humor as a new bone of contention between Bisha and Yato. And while the last picture depicts Nora with Yato, it never got cleared about what was actually done with her. Did Yato give her a name again? Is she a shinki again? How come Kofuku and Daikoku have grown old but Take (lightning g0d) is still the same? There is so much. there was so much to cover, so much potential. even for a sequel. wasted. i'm just glad it was a happy end

Yes, that's exactly my thoughts and my reasons to love Noragami. It also had a pretty huge impact on me and I rewatched it quite many times. In a year or so I will reread the whole manga.

Tbh I loved it that Hiyori was given space to become a doctor. He knew right from the begin that a tie with the Gods is not good for her and her mortal life on earth. So I'm glad she could focus on it, before she met him again.

The last picture is so cute as well. x3

This ending was really bitter sweet. Not sure if Father kinda ✌️’d out or something, but at least he’s not causing havoc anymore. I felt some…rather unleasant feelings towards him that I haven’t felt towards an antagonist since Wrath from FMA.

I’m also just happy that 1) Yato and Yukine reconciled, 2) Bisha and Kazu are back together, 3) Hiyori got to reunite with Yato and Yukine again, and 4) a happy end for Nora.

It’s almost 5 AM so I should probably sleep now 😅

Sinceramente, eu esperava um fechamento no romance dos dois, e não um "imagina o final ai", até porque o final foi só isso. Boa parte da obra estava mostrando que os dois acabariam juntos, mas o autor cagou pra confirmar isso de verdade
Porém admiro a determinação da autora em conseguir ligar todo o elenco nesse final, é preciso de bastante determinação e saber onde ela queria que acabasse

Pra mim o final não foi ruim, mas também não foi bom, foi bem mediano
No máximo um 7/10

Damn so disappointing. I have the feeling that the last arc was rushed. Maybe not too much but certainly rushed
I HATE that the last chapter feels empty. Seriously guys, it’s funny and all but the story is about the love between yato and hiyori, and there’s nothing in the end. When hiyori looks at yato I started feeling my heartbeat increase and I thought “omg here we are” BUT NO. It ends like that. What a disappointment. What was the point in making them fall in love? Now we can only imagine whatever we like but it’s not ok in my opinion… what’s the point in letting us readers decide what happens between them? We want something official! I was so in love with these two and it ends in such an empty way…

@Danahi82 yeah I don’t get it. Is the author tired of this story? Idk
Also I don’t understand how mangaka take so much time for their health, I mean, do they all have cancer that they disappear for at least one year? I hope it’s not the case. But it seems to me she was tired, and that’s a pity. You can’t make a romance manga and then you do nothing about it, they’re the main characters and there should have been something. Highly disappointed but somehow I expected it

@Furuhashi1 Yes!!! They should be married and have two children (Nora nad Yukine). Or live one normal life in human world then come back to the Yato's realm when they would be connected again with Yukine and Nora. I need ending similar to "Kamisama Hajimemashita"

About last panel - I even read interpratation that it's Hiyori's empty room after she commted suicide to be with Yato again. Because everything is left, even her bag. I'm devastated. It's my first manga I've ever read T_T If Adachitoka won't fix this then we will see better ending in anime, I hope.
