| They managed to make the first time we see Gyokko kill have a very ominous vibe to it. Would say they adapted that part of the manga really well. We're finally going to see these two upper moons in action! The confrontation with Muichirou and him using that form looked really smooth. |

Also if I may, I can tell why Genya’s always so annoyed with you Tanjiro. I mean anyone would be with your constant chirping and that inability of reading the room. Just leave people in peace for goodness sake. Though the peaceful moments don’t last long in this series, and so it happened, with the arrival of Gyokko and Hantengu in the village out of absolutely nowhere. Moreover it was Hantengu who stirred up the peace in some fashion. Knocking down Muichiro some kilometres away, and giving hell to Tanjiro. Even slashing his neck was nowhere near to take him down, heck he got regenerated in an instant and that too with his doubles. Muichiro at one end and Tanjiro and Co. at other, up against two upper moons. Shit has hit the fan. I find it funny that your post is the OP for the episode. It's very balanced for the happy-go-lucky ones that are usually posted. |

| I believe this episode will be the worst of 2023, I can't imagine anything worse than this. Everyone knows that Kimetsu no Yaiba has several flaws and few qualities, but the worst flaw is the humor, which is the most unfunny and cringy thing since Chavo Del Ocho, and they focused 15 minutes on it. I hope they stop focusing on bad and unpleasant things, like the characters and the comedy, and just give us action. A bit of Kanroji fanservice is also welcome. Nezuko in attack mode is very sexy, and that fish looked like it came straight out of a low-budget PlayStation 2 game. They could change the name to Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hollow Arc. Because we didn't get anything important so far, 4 episodes of the purest nothing. |

| Mist Breathing looks seriously cool and I feel like thanks to the adaptation I’m far more accepting of Muichiro - who didn’t leave as big a mark on me in the manga. His voice actor does a fine job as well. Love it when Haganezuka is knocked out and gets rocks thrown at him. And Nezuko is still the cutest little sister. |

| My first thought on seeing the sword was that it was covered in blood. But it being rusted makes more sense. Nezuko was extra cute and funny this episode, made the ep a little better for me. |

| What an episode, it went from 0 to 100 in a second, I wasn't ready for it, then we have that upper moon having that cool weather gimmick and Genya with a new style of demon slaying. |

They did make that doll seem human on episode one and I thought it was SM1 already in the village. Now this. GDI. Fell head first into that trap. |

| Woah... 2 upper moon and 2 Hashira in the swordsmith village at the same time... Imagine only 1 Hashira at that time... Going to get more trouble... Genya using a gun and a katana? Woah~ What's surprised me that Muichiro is actually a soft kid... He look different than his previous episode personality. He get soft that easy?... Upper moon 4 look scared all the time... It's actually surprised me he actually split into 4 different body... Of course he got trick... It's the upper moon demon. Can't wait to see how Mitsuri fight |

| The CGI looked so clean. Also, the comedy is nice and light-hearted, it suits demon slayer and its atmosphere. I actually enjoy it, A LOT. Best anime of the year already, imo. Haters need to chill and let people enjoy whatever they want. |

It's completely fine. The frame rate of it was not consistent with 2D models in the same frame, but that's it. We are not going to see this model again, so that's negligible and I guess animators thought that too. Demon Slayer uses CG models almost everywhere, but they are usually well made, so you won't notice. For example, that Gyokko's from this episode vase was entirely CG. |

| Holy shit! That second half was absolutely nuts. The upper demons we've seen in the first episode have infiltrated the swordmiths' village and they're incredibly fucking strong. One can renegrate into multiple bodies and get different kind of abilities. The other upper demon lives in a vase lol. Well yeah, Muichiro had some crazy techniques, but it didn't work against them. That fan blew him so far away and the staff electrocuted Tanjiro. Funniest part was Genya using a gun to get them, but it didn't work in their favor. A lot of upper demons now, and one flew away with Tanjiro leaving Nezuko alone with an near death Genya. |

| Seeing Nezuko getting her hair braided was nice. Tokitou's iai gave me an adrenaline rush. Genya with a parry this you filthy casual. |

This model might actually be reused in the future, because Gyokko has an ability revolving around fish. But this looked quite different than in the manga and serve different purpose. I'm not sure about that, really. |

| Anime is still bad always. If I remember from Manga correctly, this is the most trash unforgettable demon in the entire series with Upper 4. Both Upper 4 & Upper 5 is garbage characters. Somehow village was found after Tanjiro's visit while the same demons can't find the village for centuries for somehow. |

| I wasn’t expecting things to take off this early, I was enjoying the chillness of these early episodes but it does feel good to witness some Demon Slayer action again. That constantly crying demon guy ended up being way stronger than he appeared, I wonder just how many demon guys were within that one guy lol. And damn Genya pulled up with some heat lol, that was a badass moment, but unfortunately this is the one enemy that wasn’t the best play against and now Genya is in trouble along with everyone else, that face Tanjiro made before that sound guy attacked again was an “oh shit” expression if I’ve ever seen one lol. And looks like Tanjiro’s words touched Tokito a bit as he went back to save Kotetsu, I’m happy to see it. And with that yet another upper rank demon fight is on, I wonder if this one will be season spanning like before or not, but I’m sure it’s gonna be fun as hell no matter what. |
