Hey there! Thanks for the FR! Do pop by if you want to chat, we can exchange some of our favourite mangas/animes and I'm always up for a discussion. Here's to a great MAL friendship 🍻
Oh i heard many things about the anime adaptation of OP, i mean it isn't one of the top shounens without a reason, the reason i dropped OP is because it doesn't do justice to the original source of the manga, I watched many anime reviewers advice people to stay away from the OP adaption due to a couple of reasons.
Mainly, in future arcs the pacing is quite abysmal, The episode is structured in a terrible way to drag out a fight a episode would mainly comprise of a 2 minute intro, recap, flashbacks, i don't mind character backstories. However they are leaving about 3-5 minutes of the episode to action and the rest could be useless filler ^~^, i heard the latest arcs have fights dragged over 8 episodes with mini screen time for action(which is my personal preference). Oh yeah there still is Toei animation the studio responsible for most of the problems, due to their laziness to create a much better adaption of OP(animation-wise, i enjoy many of the Openings to OP mainly for music tho).
, but hey don't get discouraged I still think OP is an amazing series but i just cant get into the anime. However, I am looking forward^^ to reading the OP manga though , that is gonna be a blast similarly to the anime
Glad to hear from you^^,

P.S. Sorry for the long read. Hope to hear from you in the future :)
