| My god I must hate myself. I keep trying out shoujo because everyone is saying there's a shoujo boom! JC Staff specifically, two??? I don't know if I have high hopes for this since I've finished Sugar Apple Fairy Tale but I'm too curious. That intro had so much EVERYTHING in the span of 2 minutes. I don't know if I'm impressed or baffled? I won't lie, I'm into it. But this baby has 24 episodes so I'm very curious how this will spend it's time. |

| Very nice so far. I like the king so far, I was expecting cheesy reaction from the king when Sari made certain comment but it was good. I didn't expect him to have that kind of secret tbh but this should make for a sweet story. |

| Heard good things about this show. Now I get it why people said this was like "Beauty and the beast". Didn't expect it to be THAT similar though, with transformation and him being all angry all the time etc. Sari certainly is weird. For a moment I wondered if she had 200IQ and emotionally manipulated the king into liking her. Sacrifice ritual doesn't make much sense... Yeah, Anubis explained it's to demonstrate beasts and humans aren't equal and shit, but if the king has been lying all this time and releasing girls instead of killing them, shouldn't this secret be known by now??? 98 girls have been delivered as sacrifices and allegedly all were let go. Miasma is gone so they can escape to human kingdom which is near, meaning girls won't just die on the road (although it's still possible for them to be noticed or die by accident - thus body discovered and truth unraveled). But the biggest "plot hole" (at least for now) would be the girls themselves. Sari was apparently raised to be a sacrifice but it's less likely the other 98 were like her. Meaning, they had a home they would love to return to. Are we expected to believe that 98 supposedly-sacrificed girls all changed names/appearance and/or never made it public that the beast king let them go??? Rumors should've spread that the king isn't really eating girls. Him doing this in suspicious circumstances would raise suspicions even further. Hopefully this will be addressed in the future. |

| quite interesting but it feels like it progressed too fast... id have thought wed get a few episodes leading to the sacrifice night and during those episodes theyd get to know eachother but all that kinda happened in one episode. also to have sari's tragic past revealed just like that is an interesting choice beauty and the beast X mahoyome |
