| Awwwwwwwwwww!!! That is just the cutest damn thing in the world! After reading the original 4-koma style manga, which was very simple and sort of plain, I'm blown away by this anime. CloverWorks has transformed an ordinary manga and made a very special anime. It is faithful to the original but it amplifies and embellishes. This has become my favorite anime of the season! I love how honest Kita was about her motivation for joining the band: she has a weird crush on Ryou-senpai and wants to be closer to her and have a special relationship as "her girl". I'm not sure about the translation here and maybe she was really saying she wanted to be Ryou's daughter? Whatever, she obviously has a crush on her senpai, and it is very cute. |

| This ep is really good. Like REALLY good. The comedy is extremely well paced, and the character dynamics (Especially Bocchi-Kita and Kita-Ryo) are leagues more in-depth than other shows. The cinematography is creative and steps outside the comfort zone, and Bocchi's expressions break out of her character model in all the right ways. The rock music is also a nice touch, and the show even got the F-chord fingering right when Kita was trying to play it. Before the show started, I thought this could be a mini-dark horse, but now I think this will be AOTY for me. Nuanced voice acting, creative direction, jaw-dropping backgrounds, good color palette, good character dynamics, relatable comedy, actual cinematography, beautiful hand-drawn animations, the list goes on. Every part of this episode impressed me. |

| Damn, Bocchi's VA is god-like. Even the animation CloverWorks rendered here is top-notch. This just keeps getting better and better each episode. It's also damn hilarious that Bocchi's younger sister isn't even intending to hit the brakes LMAO. The members of Kessoku band are finally complete! |

| I love this show so much. Any show with this much creativity, direction, expressiveness and love with its production will always be welcomed, in fact, we need more of them. Kita is a fantastic addition to the cast, she do be down horrendous though. The show did another fake ending and it was just as hilarious, I love the end card art lmao. Kessoku Band is now complete, can't wait for the next episode. |

| While it's still funny seeing Bocchi's thought process go into overdrive when she tries to do things (Nice addition of having live props as well), I'm happy to see her becoming more brave. Thanks to her, she was able to draw Kita's attention to her and the two of them got on together pretty quickly. Kita was also pretty open about her reasons for joining her former band, then deciding to run away from it. Funny she should say that, as the band she ran away from was the same one that Bocchi is now part of. Thankfully, Nijika and Ryo hold no bad prejudice towards Kita and they were quick to have Kita help around the club in a classic maid outfit, which looked pretty on her. Although Kita at first rejected the idea of joining the band again, Bocchi's clumsy, but bold plea to have Kita change her mind thankfully worked. It was at this point that Kita actually had a bass guitar when she thought she had a different one altogether, which was another funny moment. XD Now the band is at four members now. I do look forward to seeing how these girls will go from here onwards. |

| The dialogues and comedic timing of this series along with its bubbly and free overly exaggerated animation style is so in-sync its crazy. This season has a lot of anime comebacks and adaptations I was excited for, this was not one of them but God damn this is turning out to be one of if not my most anticipated anime to watch every week. How this is on par or even beating MP100 for me is unreal rn. The characters, their chemistry, the jokes, the timing of said jokes, the bubbly crazy animation going above and beyond blends so well. Also I love their songs, I cannot believe its Ikumi singing the OP and ED, she is amazing! I cannot wait for more! |
