But she changed in 2. season and she was first who confessed her love to Futaro.She was also a reason why 2. season had plot because after she confessed her love to Futaro her sisters started to do something about their love for Futaro. But I aggre thet Miku is the best of all the sisters.

For reference, I don't think Nino redeems herself at all. As for Ichika, she only develops backwards as a character imo by getting too competitive over Fuutaro. The other 3 don't make any massive character developments that were noticeable to me.

Nino’s development in S2 is pretty amazing so it’s sad for the OP to jump out before the big moment. I think it’s a testament to Negi Haruba that he took one of the least liked characters and made them one of the best liked characters in such an organic and planned out way. I can pinpoint with surgical accuracy the moment that this went from being a show I liked to being my favourite show and it’s Nino’s confession. I was pretty sick of anime pulling the ‘I confessed but you didn’t hear me’ trope so when Nino walks back into that kitchen and reverses that trope my soul was healed : )

I don't know why most ive heard fans are from Miku. I asked them what makes her their waifu and they said that she's shy and it makes them feel dependable for wanting to protect her . No shit sherlock, i don't want codependent relationship.

In season one, out of 5 of them, Nino stands out for me because i find it interesting other than her being a tsundere. oh boy i am so glad i chose Nino as i throughly read the manga, her character development and the double confession is just beautiful. As for Miku, she's mid, nothing more nothing less.

And as for the end of the manga or Movie, I didn't know Yotsuba even existed literally wtf lmao. She feels like just a side character.

in this way none of the girls are perfect, i can put up an argument against miku, cus nino atleast relaises her love and starts fighting for it rather than a coward like miku who keeps hiding behind, she doesn't want anyone else to take fuutaro, but she also doesn't dp anything to confess, she claims she will fight, but hesitate for stuff like cookies , it's true nino was annoying in S1 but towards the end of S2 she really grew into a cute tsundere even learning bakery for fuutaro, shows she is serious and her blushy moments...i like those, i like all the girl equally btw

I'm a monogatari enthusiast to the core...and i like some wholesome stuff too

Well, I hated her as well during season 1 for her bitchy and edgy behaviour but in S2 her character was significantly improved. That's when I started to like her whereas on the other hand miku stayed a crybaby the whole 2 seasons which was way too irritating. Also miku is like the most basic character you can find girls like her in almost many animes. There's nothing new so Team Nino

I wasn't much of a fan of Nino until pretty late into this season, actually. It was clear from the start that she had a softer side under all her harshness, so I'd never written her off completely, but she really grew on me during the confession episode. It was super refreshing to see her go right back up to him and confess again when he didn't hear her the first time. When it looked like she was going to just pretend it never happened and agonize over it at first. Like we've all seen so many times before... I wish more characters in romances were that straightforward and brave.
