Awesome as aways (don't worry, no one takes me seriously when I talk about Naruto anyway). Sure, it's not a masterpiece, but that was a well made filler, and that's what matters. Even with a cheesy plot, which everyone should be familiar with in Naruto movies, an idiot villain and other things that everyone loves to complain about Naruto, it was a nice experience. Entertaining, nice fights, nice teamwork and epic final scene. |

Because of all the hype I thought it would blow my mind, turns out it was just ok. The fights towards the end are amazing but what about the other hour... boring. It was good to see the old gang from when he was a kid but still, the whole nakama I will die for my friends even though I put in jeopardy the whole village is growing old. xBERNARDxD said: Best anime movie i ever seen! hikoghert said: But everyone showed up and Hinata almost got tentacle raep'dd AND Sai was cool and implied some NaruSaku AND Tenten was useful ANNDD Shino asserted some of his badassery and Shikamaru and Kakashi were strongly featured so I enjoyed this. The ~gay~ ending topped everything off nicely. ahaha... that pretty much says what I wanted to say, as well as that I also really liked the way the fight scenes were made. In particular I loved the way they did Fuuton: Rasensuriken at the end there, and watched open-mouthed at how they did that last hit Naruto gave Garra, through his Ultimate defence. Loved it. Though yeah, the repetitivness brought it down, though not enough to make me dislike the movie. Master_M2K said: Guess I'm the only who think these movies are getting worse and worse and this one being pretty crap. Sure the fights were good but the reasoning behind them was crap, as was the production values, which certain isn't at the level of an animated movie. I kinda just look past that. I've lost hopes in the movies improoving in that direction. I enjoyed the action and animation, and decided not to tie myself too much to the story. This was just the best Naruto movie I have seen, together with the first ever movie with the Snow Princess x) Perhaps cos the Kakashi was one of the main characters.) All was very good and entertaining with no empty spots, lot of action spiced with narutoish ninja music and many characters fighting together. Also liked the ending with the Hiruko, as it was revealed that he felt neglected and soo...touching. Perhaps if he was a girl it would be even better cos he looked like a the girl in that cute mummy outfit...but still cool ;-) And to the people who criticized the film because they were making gay from Kakashi...firstly try to understand the type of humor the staff presented, and you will notice that noone is seriously meaning it like that...I think it was really hilarious-) and yeah I have also noticed the matter with the rasen shuriken...its a film after all, some rules can be broken, believe it! XD |

I think this movie is better than Bonds, and tries to convey an important message that what Kakashi has been advocating, although he himself forgot about that. The fight scenes could have been better though, and the ending was also a little disappointing. Other than that, I quite liked this movie. |

This was the best movie for me,because I like Kakashi *.* Some pictures. I hope it works and I hope you understand me,because my english is not so good :) At the beginning: Kakashi,Sakura,Naruto and Sai are on a mission. Naruto saved Sai on his own, because he was injured and Sakura hits Naruto. ![]() Naruto and Sai are injured and Shikamaru made a small party,in Konoha, for them. Naruto and Sai left the hospital without a permission :D. ![]() Kakashi left the village for a very important mission. He wants to die, because he wants to kill a person names Hiruko, with his Sharingan. Naruto wants to bring Kakashi back, but he was locked up by Shikamaru and Tsunade. ![]() |

Some people just need to ask themselves... Why so serious? I enjoyed the movie. I enjoyed it greatly. Because I took it for what it is and didn't expect anything that is outside of what Naruto is supposed to deliver. (Although, yes, they do overdo it with the whole "Will of Fire" stuff.) |

Surprisingly good. Previous Naruto movies are to me like bad fillers, but this was different, there was actually a plot other than "turn villain good, save token character and kill uber villain". And the ending was hilarious :D |

Well, as all animes´s movies so far... the plot is pure Bullshit. But it worth to watch because shows the death of obito... some of gaara (always cool to see him fighting) and i liked Shino´s moves too... The last fight could be better... i that fusioned monster was lame...But the most WTF thing was Tenten doing the final hit, killing it ¬¬ |

XD then Naruto ran away and Kakashi chased after him saying it wasn't like that. Haha! LMAO! XDD Nice Kishimoto drawing of Naruto as Hokage at the vary end. :D Loved everything. :'D |

Meh. really cheesy with the whole the-children-are-our-future deal, and Naruto managing to change Shikamaru's ideals in a hot moment, and with Naruto carrying Asuma's will of fire... I think this is worst out of the NS Movies (not counting Road to Ninja). Blood Prison and Lost Tower were more gripping and moving, especially the ladder. Bonds had good action, and the one with Shion at least had more original and memorable characters.. this one just seems to be very lacking and repetitive. The big battle scene was short and disappointing, but the animation for all the action was very good. What I did like though was the conflict between Gaara and Naruto and Naruto and Shika (though I disliked how that was resolved). I loved it when Shika asked him, "Why your way?" Naru's answer was also good, though I don't necessarily agree. I hadn't expected him to say that he thought the village would become corrupted. Poor Sai seemed so forgotten throughout the whole movie.. KakaNaru humor at the end was funny. |

That, was an epic movie. I think it is the first movie where we get to see, like, EVERY character (except for Sasuke ahah). I mean, Gaara was there, Jiraiya, Tsunade, every former genin, kakashi. If you think about it, the only important characters that are missing are Maito Guy and... nobody else !!!! Even Asuma gets its place XD. I guess it was also the movie that had more action... I mean, it quickly explained the premise and got to it rather quickly *.* Also, we didn't get to see Rock Lee showing his rightfull epicness opening the gates but, well, I'll keep waiting XD. And the ending of he movie was really funny and beautiful *.* Anyway, that... was epic. |

This is a good movie, but some characters seemed out of their character (especially Shikamaru). Oh well, I enjoyed it~ I like the comedy at the end with Kakashi and Naruto ahahaha. I also like Kishimoto's quote at the end :D Internet was working fine, but then it went slow near the end =_= Well, still have 3 movies to go and it looks like I won't be sleeping for the next hours. By the way, Merry Christmas to everyone :)) |

Again another fun movie like the others. Perfectly timed for where we are in the parent story. The more fleshed out story of Kakashi/Obito and the contrast with Kakashi's actions during this incident helped further the meaning behind protecting and saving your comrades. Great animation, OST, and fun moments with the supporting cast. I'm really enjoying the breaks from the parent story for these side movies. |

Best line in the whole movie, Shino: "It's clear that those two aren't normal dogs, why? Because they don't look like normal dogs" Omg hahaha that shit had me dead. And when Lee said "Guy Sensei told me that is just another part of youth" Lmao Overall it was a great movie, this and Bonds have been my favorites so far. The final fight was epic. |

That was fun. I prefer these type of Naruto movies. I like seeing other people fight. Naruto saying "Those who abandon their comrades are worse than scum" a million times annoyed me. Once is enough. I get the point. 7/10 |

malvarez1 said: I was mixed on this film. The animation and action was really good, and it was nice seeing the whole cast team-up. On the other hand, it had a weak, repetitive script, and the villains didn't stand out AT ALL Pretty much how I felt about the movie. This is my second watch, and I was right that that "scum" quote really was repeated too many times in the movie. It was the only thing I remembered from the first time I watched it. There was mostly action throughout the movie, it was fanservice I guess, but honestly wasn't interesting without a better plot/context. Again, this was probably the most fanservice movie out of all the Naruto movies (although it's arguable that all movies from such franchises are just fanservice :P). I do like seeing all of Naruto's generation fighting together, and even Gaara showed up, but just having lots of fighting doesn't make it a good movie. As long as people found it fun to watch though, that's what matters for the fans. Hiruko was sooo ugly though omg. Those teeth. And that chin. They tried to make it canon with Hiruko being friends with the younger Sannin and Kakashi, but it just didn't work imo. Also, why were there so many gates. I did enjoy the comedy, especially with Shino's lines whenever he says "why?" During his lines and answers it, lol. And the gag with Sai analyzing if Sakura liked him. My friend and I didn't understand the misunderstanding with Kakashi at the end though. We watched that part again and still didn't understand it, thinking it might be a mistranslation, but it wasn't... Overall, it was as mediocre as a I remembered it was. None of the Naruto movies I've rewatched so far (only Shippuuden 3-5) have been that great, especially after watching Road to Ninja and Boruto, both which I believe to be the best Naruto movies. Granted, movies 3-5 were the ones that I thought were okay on the first watch as well. |
