| 4 episodes in and so far, this show is just... okay. I might be reading the intent wrong but it really does seem to be a "waifu" show. I'm not saying that's a bad thing but Irina just doesn't have much personality. Yuzu from Taishou Otome was immediately lovable right from the very first moment. I was kinda surprised and disappointed that she doesn't have a tragic past, I totally thought she was being forced against her will to participate in the space program. But seems she has her reasons but I don't understand her motivations at all. At least Irina is better than Vivy. She looks kinda similar with how her hair crosses like an X in front of her face. That feature was annoying on Vivy but it looks good on Irina. |

It is meant to be a political parallel that tackles the space race with touches of discrimination, corruption and authoritarianism, the romance is forged through the scope of an horizontal relationship within that context, not subjugation like Otome. It could be simplistic, but try to see the actions through the lens of Irina instead of through the potential couple |

It's lacking the romance tag after all but the main guy being forced to take on the role of caretaker for a cute and mysterious girl raised all the waifu flags. |

| The skating was beautiful despite the fanservice shots. Irina can go pro. I was worried that it was a fantasy sequence and that she'd be standing in the middle of the lake humming or something. Glad that was not the case. |

| cute cute cute cute cute omg, the cuteness went through the roof when Irina's drunk. cute drunk vampire gf when. Vampires apparently are just harmless species, they have no superpowers and killing intent like propaganda in movies have shown. And Irina is only 17, she volunteered, wasn't forced to enter this space program. I really don't want ussr comrades to dispose of her after the experiment. Inhuman bastards. Living in the ussr is truly scary, i wouldn't wish that life on anyone. Her skating is beautiful. I didn't like the OP but now I do. The ED is awesome from the start. |

| Wow, i actually had no idea Irina voiced by Megumi Hayashibara. Her voice sounds really young, and she squeaks all the time. And she nailed pronounciation of "lunnyi kamen'". I'm pretty sure Natalia is some kind of spy or KGB agent. |
