Brilliant start. Something different and a bit refreshing from Shonen Jump. Something in me told me to give it a go and I am glad I did. Romance in a manga is something I am keen on and the twist in story using sports makes a first for me as I tend to avoid any manga that has sports as a genre. Looking forward to chapter 2 after that great ending.

They changed this af wow.

But anyway, what a good chapter, I love the art still and I think that this may bring forward an interesting situation.

This kinda reminds me of Ahiru no Sora with children playing basketball with thier parents.

Good overall so far.

Yes, I will read it.
I read the One-shot before out of curiosity and I liked it, and now when I read the new version I loved it, I will continue reading it.

Simple, has sports + romance, yeah this is pretty neat.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

I can't say that I'm a fan of a subplot romance in a sport anime because most of them intend to focus more on the subplot rather than the mainplot. I've read a few chapters and I was right. The art does look great though. I'm a fan of badminton mangas/animes so I'm looking forward for more. The maingirl is the only interesting character for now.

Never read the one-shot but maybe I'll probably give it a read before continuing on here. It seems like there was a bit more changes than just the sport, which I have to say, I'm really glad they changed sports. I have to wonder if the motivation for the change was Haikyuu!!. I know Haikyuu!! has ended (or ending around the time of this release) but the volleyball market is too cornered atm, Badminton makes it stand out a lot more.

But mainly, I like this because of the different mentalities it allows Taiki to have from Chinatsu, the solo sports stuff is a really good direction. It'll help make them feel more like their own people, which will help making their relationship stronger as a whole.

This was a really great first chapter, I am of course a sap so obviously this had me grinning pretty much the whole time.

ok first half was very really typical cus Chinatsu wants to become a pro basketball player and then Taiki supports her so nothing that special but that's dedication :). Hina seems a bit bothersome(?) Though this is conditionally a refreshing sport based manga, I'd expect more competitions over romance ratio, hopefully there is no rivalry / love triangle.

The 2nd half in which got my attention that Taiki's mother and Chinatsu's mother used to be in a competitive game together and now Chinatsu and Taiki are both living together, wonder how that'll go.

Just finished reading the one-shot, and I have to say I'm liking how it's been changed into this format. If anything though, I am sad he switched from Volleyball- that's my jam.

Seems they'll be living together now, sounds pretty fun!

Side note, Chinatsu is soooo fine.
