| Goddamn that moment in the middle of the play with Sugawara. I was simply not ready for it at all. I'm glad the Sonezaki and Amagi ship was finally able to set sail. Fan favorite couple for sure. Quite shocked with Izumu and Kazusa's outcome, though. With four episodes left and the fact this is written by Mari Okada, I'm expecting some unresolved tension between those two and Sugawara. Gonna need a good ol' bag of popcorn ready for the upcoming ride. |

| Damn, that was one unexpected finale! Wow, that hug between Sonezaki and her boyfriend though. Even more surprising is the confession from Izumi’s side, that was some escalation in this episode alone jeez. Quite the buildup for both of them with emphasis on stepping on the shadows and delivering a speech, I’ve to say lol. On another note, a little curious to know on how Niina and Momoko bits will go down from here onwards. Certainly didn’t expect Sonezaki’s friend to have such a normal boyfriend, that lad certainly doesn’t seem like his fond of female cleavages lol but that was a nice surprise nonetheless. Knowing Okada Mark though, I’m sure these last four episodes won’t be all happy-love-love so looking forward to what’s in store next! And sure enough the preview hints that. Hopefully, it won’t be as bad as the manga readers say it is though. |

| Ok, that was great. Last episode had me worried about the direction the show was taking, but this one put me at ease. The characters all confronted their fears and came clean about their emotions, and the result was very satysfying. A little too staysfying in fact, which, again, makes me a little worried about what might happen. By the way, that last scene with Nina saying she was going to "start obsessing" was really ominous. Can you imagine if she turned into a yandere and murdered the entire book club? Now THAT would be a plot twist! |

| The school festival, always a good way to spread the love around. Everyone with their different activities and such, while experiencing love of their own to the next level with the make-up legend. Momo...might be turning les...but that's no indication just yet... Sonezaki felt jealousy...and went for first base instead. If ever, this is that one moment where she abandoned all her thought process and went for it despite her troubles. Hongou got appreciated by Milo-sensei as "his own"... What's her next step though... Kazusa thought that Sugawara has always been her rival all this time, yet she chose to wallow in her own misery about Sugawara snatching Izumi away from her, not regarding her own feelings and that Sugawara has always been leading her up to this moment. Glad that she is mature enough to stand up for her own. And after 8 episodes, the guy finally realized (all thanks to Sugawara) to capture his feelings and confess. Sugawara...either she is constantly afflicted by her past experience, or the affection to Izumi is just an act of "treason" towards Kazusa's part and her way out. The accursed pedo teacher forced her to take the untreaded path just to save her face. But for that, she just let her experiences tread the path ahead of her. @Rowan_F that's a sound reasoning (for the appreciated flaw character) Overall, a splendid episode that closes the school festival arc over all the feelings and emotions that have been stored up to this moment. Now onto the next phase of relationship! |

| Glad Sonezaki cleared things up really quick and didn't drag it for the rest of the season before anything happen. A bit surprised to see Kazusa get confessed to instead, with how much the show pushes that she was going to confess, you kind of forget the other person could do so first. I guess we can thank Niina for that to some degree but on the other hand, ugh, not a fan of triangles. |
| Holy fuck that was a good episode. One of the best, if not the best so far ! My rankings are probably Hongo still at first , followed by a close Kazusa , Sugawara, Sonezaki. Momo is prob last , which is understandable given her story hasn’t really been touched upon . Sugawara’s behaviour really bothered me this episode , but I think it was supposed to . She’s trying to not be an observer anymore , and chooses to be direct about her feelings. But the part that irks me is her obsession with the Pedo dude . That pseudo confession to Izumi scene , I’m not entirely sure whether she’s just trying to confess to make the pedo jealous , or so he acknowledges her as ‘not a boring girl’ . Also, it seemed a bit wrong imo to go behind Kazusa’s back sort-of to confess to him first.... but I was really impressed with how Kazusa handled it . And instead of being angry at Sugawara, she internalized it, as her being too indecisive. I really liked that part . Also, Sonezaki was so forward there at the end , impressed ! |
| Sonezaki finally did it. The girl's got the guts. Kazusa got confessed instead of doing it. Flowers blooming for these girls. On the other hand, Niina and Hongo got their first heart break. Btw Niina still seems to be the mysterious charcater as ever. |

| My impression of Sugawara so far has been pretty great, someone whose easily misunderstood because she's just a really pretty person and hence, attracts a lot of unwanted attention. But she's just a normal girl who treasures her friends a lot and is honest and straightforward (blunt, in fact) with her words. So idk why they had to insert this upcoming arc where she's all i Iike Izumi too so now imma get obsessed over him. Idk, I think I'm still highkey affected by the manga's latest chapter so I'm hmmmm But other than that, this episode was great. Wouldn't have minded it ending there. |

| HOLY FUCK DOUBLE CONFESSION IN ONE EPISODE. this anime really knows how to tug my heart and rip it out!!! I really like to recommend this heartfelt romance that Iw as longing for :< I've said this many times but it reaaaallyyy depicts the expectations of adolescent love and how grand and bad they think it may be. they may be some "sexy" scenes but the lessons you may get if you're also an adolescent like me really gives the relateable factor a plus plus |

| Very entertaining episode, but too happy for me. Yeah, yeah, wholesome confessions and some cringy lines here and there. I still don't understand Sugawara's attitude with the pedophile but it's leading up to a very netoraresque situation, and I can't be more excited. Way too many good things happened in this episode, and this isn't how Mari Okada does things. Let's see what she does to keep this entertaining, and everyone doesn't just win at the end. |

| Oh boy, that could have been quite the betrayal in front of everyone... I was scared there, not gonna lie. By the way, there are guys who can't read the atmosphere... and there's Sugimoto. Though unlikely, I really hope he understood what Momo tried to convey. Decent episode overall. Despite how little I care about them, I'm somewhat glad for Izumi and Kazusa. They took the first step, which is nice but now comes the actual fire test, also known as Niina AKA "I'm your friend, Kazusa". And on a side note, just gonna say that Straight Forward Sonezaki is indeed best Sonezaki. Really sweet confession and that Amagi's reaction... man, how adorable. |
