| Spear Hero is just a creep that is very hard to watch ^^; he was asking for another kick! As always, everytime I see Malty's face it makes me cringe with hate. I feel bad for Melty to have such a despicable sister... Malty is going deeper this episode by showing her dark personality in front of the Heroes, but seeing her get stabbed was so satisfying! Too bad it wasn't a real sword though -w-" Good episode! OP and ED song was good, but I still like the first one better ;) |

My gosh the only thing that will appease me is if this anime had a surprise crossover and we found out that Momonga is behind the catastrophes. | great ep, but seriously that red haired bitch is really getting pathetic at this point smh please im hoping she gets dealt with sooner than later or at least people she her for what she truly is cause its getting annoying also again seems the only one of of the other 3 heroes that actually have a brain is the sword hero but sadly he is yet to fully act on it yet lastly i'm so glad they all was able to get away cause at the one point i thought Filo was gonna be taken and i was about to be real pissed but thankfully that didn't happen and thank god for that also the new op and ed are really nice especially the new ending is really cute |

| Every episode Myne's in feels like i'm suffering from her taking so much screen time. To boost that, there are no characters i can sympathyze with, or any hero i can cheer on. What is this series trying to do with it's viewers? It feels like they are rubbing our faces with a sharp-edges rock. If this continue to the final episode, i think i won't remember anything from this series other than it has a really shitty antagonist. |

| man the other heroes are just so poorly written so damn gullible each and every time and malty is just such a bad antagonist literally single digit IQ villains SHIELD HERO BAD MUST KEEL DERP Slime is 10x better than this crap and much more humorous/light hearted too What makes it worse is this show tries to come off as serious and dark, but the antagonists just ruin it |

| Hmm so Melty's bodyguard detail were all traitors then huh. Love the new opening and its visuals. Looks like there will be plenty of fierce battles and new allies incoming in the coming episodes. The insight into the hiarchy of the kingdom was pretty insightful. Its nice to see Naofumi and Melty have a pleasant talk though. The attempt to escape from the trap sure was fun and full of surprises. If anything Myne's evil truly knows no bounds. Still trusting Ren to find the truth was an interesting decision on Naofumi's part. Guess being called by your role all the time does take away the human element of relationships. Still it was cute seeing Melty start to open up to Naofumi in her own way. Am excellent ep that did well in not just expanding upon the plot from last ep but also expand upon the world as well with expansions into the kingdom's ruling structure and the queen as well. |

| Checked OP and ED (they were nice), skipped through the episode. Boring. This bs with how everyone just goes out of their way to make Sheild Hero look bad is something I can't take seriously anymore. Wanted to see what people discuss here in case I missed something interesting but funny how half of the discussion turned out to be about Slime. Seems like not much interesting happened apart from the usual stuff. And I think I can drop it without remorse now. As a side note, I guess it's not actually fair to compare this to Slime just because they are both isekai. They are completely different genre. So obviously there are people who enjoy one over the other. But while Slime nails perfectly easygoing joyful atmosphere, Shield fails at bringing a serious dramatic tone overall. Also, there is the issue with characters, you either love them and can go through whatever journey with them or not. For me personally, Slime had an incredible cast of likeable characters, here I didn't find even a single one I like more than just "they are ok" or "nice design". So yeah. Wonder, what even took me so long to drop this :/ |

| All this stuff with Myne is getting really old. Yes, she's an evil bitch. We get it. They just keep making it worse and worse for Naofumi with no sign of letting up, and it's been like this for god knows how long... I hope seeing the queen will change things even a little. |
| Man, Motoyasu keeps becoming the best character of this series each episode it airs. I hope he goes full SAO villain on Filo at some point, it can make me think about the possibility of giving this show a 10/10. |

| This show relies too hard on people being stupid in order to advance the plot because there isn’t a single soldier present who questions Malty’s orders to prevent them from shootin. The excuses of that woman are increasingly stupid and pathetic, brainwashing? wtf  Meanwhile, Naofumi holds off all of the soldiers on his own  oh if they said that MC is not in any way Overpower at least when it suits you, at the end of the day the only thing that justifies the support of people to naofumi is the existence of these fools who want to reached this extreme in order to harm him |

| Malty fails at being a great villain because of the fact her character is very flat and generic, especially in this episode, however despite that this episode was a fun one, a great tense atmosphere throughout with Melty joining Naofumi's group |

| I'm liking the new Opening and Ending. Actually the ending kind of remind me of last years Death March anime ending with the carriage and stuff. The episode was ok, i guess. Naofumi really have to step up his game. Still saving the second princess shows that he have some good intentions and not only rage and hatred. On the other hand, some other characters really gets on your nerves. Looking forward to the next episode. |

I think it's like the proverbial ball rolling down a hill, just because the speed of the 'ball' or the steepness of the 'slop' has not increased, doesn't mean that the ball isn't going downhill still. |

| The bitchy princess (Myne)... A type of character sub human that makes my blood boil. How the fuck can she be so cunning? *Roar* Anyways this eps was pretty good. Melty is a nice girl and tbf that's all it really needs to like a character in THIS show. Edit: Now as I get used to it. I don't know why Ren of all ppl is against Naofumi. I mean he has known the good stuff he's done and praise him for it. |
