| My thoughts: Score-wise I see BnHA S4 possibly being able to top it. Nothing else can compare. As for general popularity/appeal, this season's Neverland or even Kaguya could win over Mob. Next season has SnK S3 P2. Fall has BnHA S4 of course. I would've said OPM2 but going by the PV and outlook already it seems iffy. Other than that the unknowns (especially anime originals) could surprise people and compete for AOTS but I wouldn't count on it. |
| anime of the year? maybe not maybe yes. Mob Psycho might be up there but don't forget that there are few strong candidate out there. Neverland, One punch man, Shingeki no Kyojin Season, dungeon, Arifureta, Re:Zero season 2, kaguya-sama, bungou stary dog and etc. |

Oh boy, just a couple of days left to see those amazing CGI arms on Genos and his unimpressed looks lacking emotion while throwing that rocket punch even if the first season and the manga has emotions in ALL his attacks but here? nah, who needs emotions while attacking, emotions are for pansies... right... Genos? Yeah, we have our reasons to be worried about OPM season 2, can't be worse than Berserk 2016/2017 so I guess that's a good thing lol. Also, is Genos on a vegetables diet? because he's looking way too skinny in that picture. |

| posting this kind of thread is just asking to be shit on for one we're only 1/4 thru with this year and two, AOTY is different for each person. for me, mob psycho is 10/10 on a purely critical view point. but if I was to rate it on enjoyment, it'd be 8/10 at most. AOTY can be judged based on enjoyment, or writing, or overall, it'd all differs |

| Mob Psycho is my 3rd only anime that got a 10/10 in my anime list. Its far from over but Mob Psycho 2nd season is a beast. Studio Bones did a hell of a job. |
