| Shirato had no proof but I'm sure he and his people would've found a way to find proof of Joe's fake citizenship. I loved the OST in this episode. Joe's entrance with his motorcycle was awesome. I'm sure Yukiko giving half of the card to Joe is a slap to her brother's face. They need to settle this. |

| Nanbu and Sachio found out about Mikio's bluff and most of the reasons why he'd done it and the coach did his best to ask for a last chance for Joe to have a rematch to the point of confessing the real situation to President Yukiko but even his best arguments fell on deaf ears...or so it seemed. Joe taking the situation into his own hands by rushing to the ceremony in his bike at the last second and making a spectacle to remember was awesome. What made it better was Yukiko taking advantage of her brother's own words by taking Nanbu's plea into mind and giving Joe exactly what he wanted: a real chance to prove himself as a legend here and now. |

| Pretty cool episode, and had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. It did leave me a bit confused at the end tho. Why did Yukiko reverse her decision to not let Joe and Mikio rematch? I thought she had already made it clear with Nanbu that Mikio was going to be the final contestant. |
| Damn, even if it was a bluff, it still would have been risky. I like these developments though, the build up to the fight is awesome. Joe being Joe interrupting the ceremony. I don't like that shot of Ace 4 transferring to Ace 5 though, Ace 5 probably has even better sensors now and it could probably detect motions even without gears, so it's gonna be a tough fight. Yuri and Yukiko are really damn great characters. |
