| Did I tell you how much I love the opening? Every time in the beginning of an episode, I have to think back to episode 6. Its so emotional. And I like it. Didnt skip it once! What should I say? That season was fantastic. You are right: it was kinda predictable and some things didnt make sense, like winning some games and stuff. But overall it still got me everytime, when Goro hit the ball with his bat or when he striked out another player. This show knows how to touch someones emotions. Another thing I really like alot is that all these characters are growing, living, dying and just fighting with their very own problems. Theres so much progression. Especially from episode 6 to 7. It was fantastic. Had to cry my heart out like shit... and at episode 7 I couldnt find any words seeing Goro again, three years later. And now, at the ending of this episode, theres another goodbye. Well, at least no farewell, but I am so hyped for seeing the next season. What is going to happen? Another timeskip? How will their skills improve? This show just got all the generic topics in it but executed them really really really good. And the emotions are real. I also love the characters. They are sometimes annoying and sometimes they act like assholes but I guess thats the reason why its feels like they are kinda real. They wont change too quickly. The most of them are kids after all. They maybe dont want to lose or cant accept happenings. But in the end they give their best, smile and enjoy playing baseball. And thats what I love about this show. Story, characters and progress.. and not to forget the opening! 09/10 |

| Looking above to my previous post from 5 years ago it's interesting how your perspective changes with time and how miguided expectations can change how you look at things. This being my first rewatch of Major I liked it vastly more than my initial watch. I never noticed how good Goro's character development was this season especially for someone who is only 9 yrs old. The anime was also full of good drama which I didn't appreciate as much then. I do have some minor issues with all the miracle plays during the Yokohama Little game but they're nothing major. I'd say S1 at the very least a solid 7 if not 7.5/10. |
| There was a lot of cliché and predictable moments to it but I actually felt some raw emotions at times like shedding tears when the dad died and also laughing at the comedic moments between Goro and Shimizu. Sad 'See ya' for now but hopefully they meet in the next season! |

| I hate how this season was ruined in just 2 episodes. First of all, they let Goro play when he is clearly injured. Later, due to plot armor he won!!. Then he randomly is playing again but don't worry...they decided to make that stupid scene for no reason. And finally, why did they move away? It's just an excuse to introduce new characters and ignore Goro's team at the last minute. It doesn't help this anime is very bad written. Despite being 2-cour, the pacing is too fast, skipping important events and wasting episodes/scenes with the awful romance stuff. I've always wished to know more about the Dolphins since outside Shimizu, Komori and Sawamura, they barely have personality or even screentime and the worst thing I can't remember their names. Goro's obsession with the sport is creepy and I can't take him seriously. Sometimes, they made me have expectations that this sports anime was something different, i was so wrong. I'm sorry but this anime isn't underrated, its just underwatched. 3/10 for the anime. |

| The Wedding 💍 of Momoko-San & Shigeno-kun , I was hoping this to be postponed for few more episodes but ooh well Congratulations 🎉 to them for their marriage. (I still have conflicting feeling regarding this marriage ohh well can't do anything about it now) I hope for their great upcoming married life days. Honda You'll soon be blessed with siblings. The ED reviewing every aspect of this season. & Displaying Sportsmanship. Looks like Honda left the team because of the married life of Momoko-San. But he'll someday come back, we are sure of that. Well see you guys in Next Season. Score 8/10 at MAL. Finished on 30th July 2024 at 21:48 Hrs IST. Momoko-San She's really so Pretty 💓.  |
