| A surprisingly satisfying ending to a very forgettable show. |

| Loved this series. So many great feels throughout, some very powerful scenes. Not as much action as I thought there would be but it doesn't bother me that much. The soundtracks were also fantastic. Shame we didn't get to learn the names of Zero & Mercenary but oh well. You never know, maybe there will be another series one day and we might get to hear them. |

| It was a great run. So a new fresh for the kingdom, hope they don't screw up this time xD I like how it ended, it was a closed ending but with a hint that there is more to explore ;) That kiss from Albus xD And let's not forget this face "Kiss me too Youhei" hahahahahaah <3  Zero really likes Youhei, the same goes for him. It was a great adventure. Protect this smile :3  Will miss this, and their "team" too xD 8/10 |

| Not a great show but a good one. Ended on a pleasant note, wrapped things up nicely. Thirteen and Zero being siblings kinda helped explain Thirteen's motivations and his rapid turn around. |

| It was an okay ending. They lived, the war ended, they achieved peace, and teaching magic. And the two begins another journey. It was a nice series. Zero is just sooo cute. Merc is good too. |

| this series was super "ok", the ending was also super "ok". I don't know how I even finished it, I should've dropped it by like ep 5. I just wanted see mercenary become human and they didn't even give me that. |
| A nice ending to be honest , They made it peaceful and simple , I really enjoyed this Anime especially with Mercenary X Zero i really enjoyed the trip and the encounters , In the end it's a really enoyable anime and if there's a season 2 i'll be glad to watch it C: . |

| I found this show to be the definition of average, neither good but not bad either. I still enjoyed it though, even if it wasn't anything special, it felt different from the norm and that's what kept me coming back each week. 5/10 |

| This show ended in the way closest to what I had imagined, without any twist or unforeseen events. Unfortunately, the series had a good potential, and that does not mean that the series deserves less than what it is worth. The characters have shown to have charisma and their characterization was good. This whole series seems almost a prologue to something more important, so I hope there is a second season, at least to check that my theory is valid. For now, my vote is 7.5 / 10. |

| started out pretty nice but became "lost" in mediocrity pretty fast. Zero was the best this anime had. So basically all this is just because shes cute and great and all.. So exactly what pretty much every anime today is. The end felt really out of place. Well its over and it was ok (thus is the score I guess) Nothing special sadly. Would not recommend if you have a life besides watching anime 24/7 |

| I liked this anime tbh. It had fun leads and the plot was there even tho I have no idea why 13 just self-assumed so much despite being intelligent. Wish there was a proper reason to that. Anyways, plot twists weren't bad either. 7.5/10, Zero was really cool. |

| Overall pretty good.. Did anyone notice? Albus is really suspicious, a mysterious character. 1. Albus appeared out of nowhere far from her hideout. She said she was searching beastman for sacrifice but why she went very far from the hideout? She never met any beastman before this? Her subordinate also said about her whereabout when she got captured and couldn't believe that she's searching for sacrifice. 2. The ring incident was pretty weird too. The ring was just conveniently found by Albus there. Convenienly the case triggered the villager's wrath and conveniently the owner was a witch? She didn't even asked what the ring looked like and just showed the ring. 3. She purposedly delayed her return to the anti magic rite place? Zero and 13 took the farther place to draw the circle but they came back much faster than her. She was shown crying and We're not even shown if she was delayed because someone hindered her or not. 4. Albus always talks about making peace between human and witch but she never mentioned about beastman . She's a pacifist but she does not mind killing a beastman for her sacrifice. She seems not to consider the beastman as human? This is really weird because her caretaker since baby was a beastman(the wolf) so at least she should hesistant about killing beastman but when she met Mercenary at the first time, she seems really wanted to kill him.. That's why the reveal about the wolf being her caretaker surprised me. Last thing, I also don't understand why 13 is really obsessed by Zero. He killed all his compatriots and many people in process of giving her the country. Strangely when the Mercenary 'took' her, he just smiled and remembered that he used to take care of her in the past too. For someone as obsessed as him, this feels weird.. |
| I liked it for what it was and actually, even expected a bit during earlier episodes. Things like the conflict not being solved that smoothly since there lots of shades of grey. Like, this ties to the ending where the as soon as the magic was erased the witches that were just moments ago fighting the kingdom's military were just spared? Like, the commander just said how he thought this was a good chance to kill 'em all, and every1 was at odds with each other. In turn, everything's just cleanly solved with the fake death of Thirteen. While making him the scapegoat is perfectly reasonable, I wish they'd have showed some of the consequences of the Witches of Zero's actions before we got there. Despite all that though, it offered a conclusive enough ending for me to be content considering my tempered expectations mid-way through the show. 7/10 |

| Not that exciting final episode but I'm a sucker for happy endings. Started off pretty nicely but I think it was a bit rushed towards the end, also didn't rly like how Thirteen changed so easily to a good guy. So Zero and Thirteen are actually siblings huh? that came out of nowhere. Albus kissing Mercenary was pretty cute and then Zero wanting a kiss too hah. I really liked Zero as a character. |

| It turned out to be much better than I expected after 1st episode. Not something spectacular, quite predictable, but pretty enjoyable. Nice art. Nice characters and world. 7/10, nothing less, nothing more. |
| Enjoyable characters, good settings and nice ending. The story is kinda bland because 13th is a bad "villain" (at the end it was not considered serious everything he did). Glady wanna watch the second season if there is gonna be one in a future. |
| Had potential, they could've polished the magic system a little bit more, expanded the universe, made it 2 notches darker and 2 notches less predictable and it would be an exponentially more successful anime. 6/10. |

| Surprisingly this show has hints of romance. Also a finale with hope of season 2. One of my favorite of the season. And zero is waifu! <3 |

| lol at Zero getting jealous over the Albus kiss. I liked this one a lot. The story could have been a little more interesting, for sure, but Zero and the Mercenary's interactions were wonderful. Zero was great in general. What a qt. 7/10 for this show. |

| In the end witch Shimakaze was the only redeeming aspect of this show. It looked pretty promising at start but quickly turned into same tired garbage done by the book as most crap produced these days. Soon I will remember this title only as "that trash series with Yoshinori's character design". Maybe I'll also remember how I hated that little blonde shit till the bitter end. It takes skill to make such hateful and terrible character with no actual impact on the story. |

| I would've loved this to be a show about Zero and Mercenary just traveling instead of a cheesy kind of story like this with annoying characters like Thirteen and Albus.. I pretty much enjoyed watching this because of Zero and Mercenary having synergy. |

| And it's over... Twas a pretty good anime, nothing special... Mercenary and Zero were pretty great, but the rest was kind of meh for the most part, though I did still enjoy this quite a bit. 7/10. |

| It was a good ending, but the anime disappointed me. The great comedy and the relationship between Mercenary and Zero was really well developed during the first half and then they decided to go with a serious story... But the story was not good enough to be interesting. |
| I guess season 2 is up then since the contract was not fully fulfilled. I will watch season 2 since I want to see Youhei's human form and know his name. But this series overall was not bad, just that, not bad. |
