| Good OP, The Day is still better for me for now, though. Excited about the UA Sports Festival, I'm thinking as well that this might be another one-cour season, we'll see. Can't wait for the show off between Todoroki and Deku. |

| The moments in the classroom were the best part of the episode! I'm glad Bones is taking the chance to show the kids interactions there, they are fun to watch! What I didn't like was the opening and the recap at the beginning of the episode. I'm excited for the Festival!! It'll be epic. |
| That was really boring for an opening episode. Too much recap, too much uninteresting everyday dialogue, way too slow in general, and now we're doing a sports fesitval of all things? Ehh I'm not convinced |

| Slow is an understatement. This episode adapted only 1 chapter while having a 5 min recap even though the series already has a recap episode. That's 20 pages of new content in 20 mins. The season should've been 13 episodes, while covering this arc and the next arc... and it's completely doable without skipping a single line. This season needs to at least adapt up to chapter 69 if they want a good season, but up to chapter 83 would be ideal (with an average of 2.5 chapters/episode). |

| yes the sports festival starts from next episode i though it would take more episode for it to start but phew tournament arc are my favorite in anime cause everyones watching and love when the whole audience is suprised!! |
| Also, why the hell are people complaining about the rating? Most of you guys were on MAL long enough to know that every hyped up sequel has a really high rating when it starts, but drops drastically soon after. Ao no Exorcist S2 was at a 9 when it started. Look where it is now... |

| AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH ITS STARTING. I'ma be watching that opening a lot, as well as the credits. I enjoyed seeing them all again, so, so much. It went by so fast though that it kind of hurts. Might as well give this a 10/10 since I'm here. |

| I thought the first episode was great! As a first episode it allowed us to see what's coming up as well as being able to reveal lots of information about characters. I can't wait till they actually do stuff. |

Again, i'm not in doubt that something good will come later. But this is a discussion page for episode 1 only, and yes i voted 3/5 too. I'm just losing faith in the people who rate it 5/5 and such. There is no way this episode were as good as a episode can be. Thats what my point is. |

| They sure knew how to fill the episode's duration... 2/5 Maybe it is because I read the manga only a few months ago, but this episode seemed rather slow for the pages it was using. And now we are moving toward the beginning of a succession of dreaded shônen nekketsu duels of super-powers, special mention to the one involving the hero and the double elements guy... I guess the animation will make it look even slower (+ less nicely drawn, but this is pretty normal). |
| Wow the OP was quite nice including the song! I'm guessing the one that was reading All Might's letter must've been the one that had those powers previously, I'd love to see who he is. Damnnnn Uraraka was adorable as a kid, I died. That's a heavy weight All is putting on Izuku, I hope he succeeds though. |

| The recap was not necessary. Was only there to pan out the episode. There's enough manga material not to do this anymore. Bones you guys are making the same pacing mistakes you did season 1. All said I still enjoyed it, well the new parts. Love the new Op and Ed songs and the art is style great. I can't remember much about this part of the manga save a few key points so I'll be looking forward to what's to come. Just don't drag it out my god. |

| i'm so happy this series is back, i guess it was just reintroducing the series, and characters. It also got me really excited for the event, i cant wait for the next episode i liked that we got more of Ochako's character. also its nice to see all might still has confidence in izuku replacing him, and izuku just as confident in becoming the greatest hero. I love seeing them two talk, they are like the heart of the series. all might only being able to hold his strength for about 50minutes was really surprising to me ?? omg Tsuyu Asui (frog girl) is my fave character, i hope theres a lot of her in s2, i think shes pretty popular so there might be. |

| Saturday is a good day with Shingeki no Kyojin and Boku no Hero Academia. Glad to see this one back as well! Pretty decent start so far. This is going to be a great ride with the second season being 25 episodes. |

| So far nothing much to say. First few minutes of giving the obvious plot points that happened in the first season. Now the class has a sports event soon. Overall, it was slow but it still managed to keep me interested. |
| Not really expecting much from this honestly. Tournament arc,ehh those are almost never exciting. Hope this season covers Stain arc to see what the hyped is all about. |
| Pretty slow start. I get why this is confirmed a 2 cour season now. They will do a perfect adaptation pacing wise. Uraraka's resolve was great to see, best moment of the episode. The last scene was cool as well, nice art use. |
