| kind of boring that they already revealed to the characters what's going on, would've been more interesting if they found out themselves. and i wonder if there's actually a reason for the whole death game besides "that's just how it is" :v ruler is a pretty annoying character, but i like the twins, they're pretty amusing. |

| I knew it.....if Fav isn't Kyubey 2.0 at this point, I don't know what to say haha. First half of the episode was really slow, but the second half started to get kinda dark. Damn, Snow White's popularity is turning against her. Souta! Er I mean La Pucelle. Get ready to protect your waifu! XD Anyways, looking forward to how this show will progress. |

| Nemu was 24!? Looks like you do die by a heart attack. I'm more shocked over that than La Pucelle being a dood. I'm starting to really like Top Speed. She's a pretty entertaining and fun character. I found her a bit annoying in the first episode but she's slowly making me love her. I would pick a favorite but I'm afraid that if I do, they'll die. Usually how I write what I post on the forums is by typing my thoughts down as the episode goes on. Last week, I picked Nemurin as my favorite and she fucking died. As predicted, looks like the survival game is also a killing game thanks to that new update. So the girls are going to fight each other to steal the candies which is good. I had difficulty trying to think on how all the magical girls would fight/kill each other and with this new update turns it into a battle royale. Doubt Snow White will die though. I can see Tama dying since the rankings have been released. I'm predicting that Tama is forced out of her magical form due to being at the bottom, which will kill her and this will foil Ruler's plan. 3/5- RIP Nemu. It's starting to venture to the dark side which is great. Not a lot of Fav this week makes me SUPER happy. Seriously, in what world is that thing entertaining? |

Glad I'm not the only one who got a big Monokuma vibe from Fav this episode. I think it is pretty obvious that Fav is basically inspired by both Kyubei and Monokuma. |

Too bad the author doesn't aim to make drama and psychological suffering (if you looked at this episode and saw how little of the character's emotions we got after the announcement, you should have realized that already), and that your proposition destroy any form of logic and purpose in what is currently happening, heh? Also, what happened isn't an ass-pull. Once again, instead of trying to understand what happened, you don't even try and conclude it's bad writing. And for your second paragraph, wait and you'll see. |

| So things are now gonna get so much more exciting. This episode is only the beginning. Fav told them that they're gonna die with a "pon" at the end of his sentence lol. Evil piece of shit. This was probably mentioned in the terms and conditions which they agreed to without reading lol. The fear is starting to set in now and with that timely update, there's gonna be some stealing going on. Snow White has unknowingly made some enemies and they're gonna target her because she's too good. The update had such a bad timing that Tama-chan is coming for Snow White's candies just before the announcement of the rankings and who dies. It's only a matter of time before it's decided whether Snow White dies or Tama-chan dies. They're putting the most timid magical girl against the typical magical girl. And both girls don't have it in them to fight others, especially Snow White who doesn't believe in fighting fellow magical girls. And with this discovery, the reason for helping people has become more selfish for everyone – they're now helping people for candies and for their own survival rather than for the sake of helping others. That update was well timed though. Makes me believe that the very purpose of making all these magical girls is to have them fight each other to the death at some point. |
| Top Speed is the best character. Charming, easy going and very likeable. I would be pissed off if she dies though. >_< Fav pretty much gets straight to the point with the other magical girls, telling them that they will die when they lose their magical powers. The fact that Fav stopped bouncing side-by-side twice when speaking about it made him look very evil and creepy. Calamity Mary has gained a strong looking ally and I wouldn't be surprised if the both of them will pick off the more vulnerable magical girls close to the bottom, gain their candies and guarantee their victim's demise. Ruler and her subordinates are pretty cool, but Ruler herself is a little too arrogant though. She must be feeling VERY confident that her team can successfully take a decent amount of candies from Snow White, but I doubt that their plan will work so smoothly. I see this fight going two ways. The first scenario will probably go like what @Romedbaumann mentioned, with Ruler's plan being a success and La Pucelle scarifies his life in order for Snow White to continue living on, most likely being emotionally and mentally scarred with losing her childhood friend in the process. The second scenario will probably go with Ruler's plan backfiring, with Snow White and La Pucelle winning their fight. With Ruler's group retreating after losing their candies, I see Calamity Mary and her ally picking off the magical girl with the least amount of candies in Ruler's group, stealing it and guaranteeing their death. I might be wrong entirely, but right now, I see either of those scenarios being played out. Overall, this episode was very good and I'm looking forward to the inevitable battles of the magical girls. Let the bloodbath and despair begin..... |
| Lol Top speed and swim swim Top speed took charge so easily lol And lol Top speed seems to know just about everyone the interaction between her and ruler was funny Lol Ruler is a bit of a tsunadere huh Lol Tama is a bit of a airhead eh but at least her powers are useful Figures that it would be Sister Nana that discovers things first she always seem to be the most level headed witch among them Hmm Magicoloid a robotic magical girl how interesting on top of nuns, ninja's western witches The harsh revelation of what will happen if they were last Though Magicoloid seems to be rather objective in her manner of speech Hmm the revelation and confrontation scene in the end was well done in setting the scene So despite everything they can only gather as much candles as they can to avoid being last and dying Hmm the new update means that there will combat between the witches from now on. Souta though is doing a great job supporting the mc Next episode should be interesting |

| Welcome to dark side, to magic girls death match( last girl standing) ,and our new Kyuubey Pon. Even if it's another dark magical girls anime, I think some how I like them . "there will be blood" next episode,I don't think they will kill the show top star (Snow White) so soon even game of thrones didn't do that.... |

| Wow! All that we have seen it is quite obvious (Madoka docet), but as for become dark and cruel, the narrative, the characters all polite and nice, have become hardened criminals. This edge change, brings a breath of fresh air that I never imagined could come so soon. Drawings and animations, as a decent quality. The OST is OK! I'm sorry you will not see more Nemurin. |

That battle royale is but the start of the real story though, but you'll get the conclusion of that battle royale, don't worry about that. You'll just get that, tho. |

| The 1st half was boring and the 2nd half ended up being them ganging up on Snow White which was predictable. Also I(and some of you)already knew when they lost their Magical Girl Status they would end up dying for real(Madoka). It felt like Madoka if killing a Magical Girl gave you the item needed to live for another day is required rather than let her die, become evil, kill her for the item. Rinse and repeat. 3/5 due to the 1st half being boring. |

| Why are there so many straight evil magical girls? Supposedly these people are picked for their qualities as a magical girl -- and yet so many of them are just straight psychopathic or even just useless. Their whole function is to do nice things for people, either directly or indirectly, and even before this turned into a death game, they seemed interested in being #1 which means doing more good things than everyone else. Having these characters so easily decide "we're going to kill her" just seems really out of place. |

| I'm kinda glad I didn't have the time to start this earlier. Maybe a week later would have been even better. The stage is set. I still can't imagine this goes the way the synopsis makes it sound and what the first scene in ep1 looked like. I have to say I'm surprised they found out about the death-part already. On the other hand it was kinda irritating that only one of the girls made the connection between Nemurin and the dead woman in the news. Will this really be action? From what I remember right now there are only like 3-4 girls with abilities suited for battle. Also I kinda get the feeling Koyuki's friend is going to die next. The group is going to steal from her and then he gives his candy to Koyuki. Probably something like this. |

| Things are gotta get pretty violent, the the candies steal and teams are gonna be very helpful. This story is really interesting. For me one of the best of the season. |

| This anime's really shaping up to be one of my favorites this season. Wow though my first thought when it was revealed they can now trade candies is sacrificing/giving away candies to save someone else. I wonder who'll be the next magical girl to go o: Tama seems pretty high on that list, but I know Ruler wouldn't let her go if she can help it. I have a feeling the witch magical girl isn't going to make the final 8... I love her but I have a feeling they have something tragic planned for her. |

| So the girls will be dueling against each other and someone (our protagonist?) along the way will find a solution to get out of this mess; by defeating the master mind behind the game perhaps. what is there to speculate (about the plot)? Hence the show is dull and not particularly engaging; for me at least. Tho I won't be dropping it. |

| And so begins the Candy Crush game. I kind of guessed this would happen after it was the good girls that found out about the death deal. They would be the ones to announce it to the rest of the magi-girls. Had it been the bad girls that found out, you bet your asses that a few of them would've been dead before they knew what happened. As for why the girls haven't started killing each other off already, I don't think that's hard to understand. Apart from psycho girl, I don't think any of them actually have the stomach to cause harm to others if need be. This will probably change once the girls begin to figure out how desperate their situation is. Looking forward to the descent into desperation and all the crazy acts that will cause. Next episode should be beautifully nasty. Psychological thriller at it's best. |

| They showed and developed too much of the characters too quickly I think, the show seems cluttered despite the comparatively simple and linear direction the plot is moving in. Real life suddenly completely not featuring isn't helping neither And the tone of the show is slightly off considering the extremely serious subject matter, it's a little hard to take it seriously And talking about this episode individually, 20 minutes of politics and flat conversation in a night setting wasn't that fun to watch...but it's a buildup so I'll move on on this point |
| Another boring episod. I'm not sure why I haven't dropped it yet. If the creators of the anime give a shit about this show, then it's not showing. Eveything is so bland and uninteresting. The deathgame is the only hook the show has, but given the current level of quality I don't have much hope of that either. I guess I will watch the next episode and most likely drop it afterwards. |

I'm pretty sure it will be used in some dramatic situation, where one mahou shoujo will make a sacrifice and give her candies to a friend and my money's either on La Pucelle or that dudette hanging out with Sister Nana. It's also not said if any of these girls (and a boy) has balls to outrightly kill someone in spite, save for maybe Calamity Mary and Magicaloid. It's lighter on a soul to steal someone's Candies with their death being a side-effect (she always had time to get more after the robbery, no matter how limited, RIIIIIGHT?). But this is a speculation, so I'm clinging to the opinion that it's a set-up for a future dramatic effect. Then again I feel this episode rushed the reveal way like there's no tomorrow and I'm also on the bandwagon which thinks it did it badly. The show entertains me, I won't say no to that, but it's like they thought "shit, we have to show them it's Madoka 2.0 ASAP, otherwise they won't watch it!" (I'm looking at you, the very first scene from episode 1). And episode 3 dwells in that atmosphere even more. I'd be very glad if it's a one-time blunder, because the characters are very likable and despite not knowing when to use "the edgies", I like the overall feel this show has for now. |
 possible spoilers: Nemu, on her last breath, told swimswim that she can be a princess. whatever that means. maybe she'll get over her passive personality and... go on a rampage killing spree? and Top Speed is one of her victims? I mean seriously she won't survive the top 8. her death flags are assured. among the top 8 the following are already sure to survive: main heroine, the dude, Mary, Ripple (she's freaking OP), swim2x. edit: just a passing thought. if swim2x can swim on any platform that could basically mean she can come from underground and backstab you. if this is true then Ruler and co is dead |

| a meh episode overall but i'm going to keep this show up. I just hope that this show won't be a bad madoka/btooom! hybrid. When this gets violent, I hope it gets vicious. I can see this getting a 6 or a 5 |

| I dont like the twins, their idea of "cool" is annoying. Hope they get some development, at least one will survive I think. I feel like Ruler will die and Swim will eventually surpass her. |

It's easy to see this had a large budget so I don't see how you would draw to the conclusion "they don't care". And that proves it with Nemurin; She died but no big deal, we barely knew anything about her. Second episode and they kill a character who appeared briefly. The purpose of Nemurin's death was to let all the girls know what the consequences are. It was not to get "feels" from the viewers. It would make more sense if the author killed La Pucelle instead, since she is Snow White's friend. Right now, no, it would not. Because Snow White will probably survive and if she gets a heroic BSOD NOW, she isn't close enough to anyone else for them to pull her out of it. |

| Omg Tama's magical power! Digging holes. She opened up a big hole and fell in. That was hilarious. The girls found out it's curtains if they get cut from the team sooner than I expected. That Pon wasted no time in spilling the beans on what happens if you don't collect candies. "Dead. Cease function, dead." Then things get kicked up a notch and already Ruler is planning to kill Snow White. This anime has the potential to become really disturbing before it's over. |
