| I'm not really happy that they used scenes from light novel because they changed some of it, but I still enjoyed it. Kunikida was pretty cool tho. Atsushi is irritating me a little because he's really doing nothing interesting, I liked him more in manga. |

| Kunikida, The kind of guy who waits 10 whole seconds to open the door just to be on perfect time. Kunikida, The type of guy who will date a person for 6 years and then marry. Yeah Sasaki-san really is looking very nice Dazai, the kind of guy who will let female victim stay at his place and let her fall for him. This is why I like Dazai, this is why he's mah homie. Always plays out everything as a joke. Ayy the action is done well! And the swag soundtrack though I'm waiting for Atsushi to get developed. It wasn't a bad episode, quite decent. 3/5 Next episode seems to be hype |

| Better episode than last week even though the comedy is still desperately unfunny. The show doesn't flow particularly well and feels disjointed at times. This was the first episode of the series I though was OK. Stray Dogs is still vastly overrated on MAL though. |

| After feeling meh about this series so far, this episode for some reason breathed some life back in it for me. Kunikida's exploration was nice and I'm glad we saw a re-emergence of the main villain. It's kind of annoying that the perpetrators have been right in front of them two episodes in a row now. Doesn't necessarily leave much to the imagination. Getting better though... |

| Anyone can see that the taxi driver was the perpetrator all along, he's really suspicious since the beginning. Overall decent episode, there's some fight with Port Mafia and we got to see Kunikida turned his notebook papers into weapons. They really need to tone down the jokes, seriously I'm getting tired of the out of place comedy. |

| Considering that this was an anime original episode, it was quite good. With the pace of this adaptation, I'm not even sure we'll reach the point where the manga is now in 24 episodes. Not that I'm complaining. |

| I love it when Dazai teases Kunikida it's always fun. Also Akutagawa's appearance was nice, loved the action that happened between him and Kunikida. |

| Great episode . I just love dazai-kunikida interactions. Kunikida "dazai what's your take on the matter?" Dazai "sasaki san looks super sexy" Lmao and he let her stay at his place . Kunikida "we're talking about abductions , have you picked up anything?" Dazai " yes this newspaper photo , you look pretty manly but you should have choosen sexier glasses" lol Good action with kunikida vs akutagawa . Smart move with the stun gun . I like how kunikida can like summon an arsenal of his own . |

| Yeah this episode's pacing felt a little off. But Dazai's mushroom nonsense and suicide jokes made up for it. It was also really nice to see Kunikida in the spotlight! |

| So far I can't take this anime seriously, the comedy throws me off... I was so excited for a Kunikida episode, especially after the previous one, which felt irrelevant and out of place, but it just did not deliver... I don't know where this is going at all. Will keep watching in hopes of some actual depth. |

| It didn't feel like the driver was involved in the case at first but out of nowhere and with no foreshadowing at all, they start giving this long explanation why he was somehow in between all of this, it just felt lazy, really. Suicide joke are getting old tbh too. Will keep watching, hoping for some good stuff. |

| Dazai high is less scary than Dazai normal. I wonder what Kunikida's ideal woman book contained, why did Atsushi blushed and panicked over it. Nice to see that girl being named Sasaki since Doppo Kunikida was shortly married to a woman named Nobuko Sasaki. >__> Hmmm. |

| NICE, they are referencing to Doppo's awfully horrible marriage. I wonder if we will get to that, considering how much Doppo in real life was destroyed by his experiences there. That could be quite dark future plotline.Considering we literally met his future wife this episode(Nobuko) it is quite likely And of course Doppo whose literature is all about romanticizing the commonfolk life, would be taking care of an orphan. |

| LOL at the 1st part, Dazai suddenly became batshit crazy! another hot babe Sasaki Nobuko todai prof (kidnapped) appears! wow! Kunikida handled Akutagawa pretty good by himself! 4/5. |

Nobody's laughing at the fact that the guy wants to kill himself, they're laughing at how casually uses them, how the other characters react depending on their experience with him and his personality, and how not only did all of them fail, but end up taking bizarre turns like making Dazai high such as in this episode. Considering you didn't seem to get why this joke works, I assume this isn't your type of humour. So just because of your subjective taste in comedy, doesn't mean you should be bothered by other people understanding said comedy and finding it funny. It's fine if you don't find the joke funny, but don't bring other people's personal taste into it and say you have gripes with said taste. OT: Cool episode. I didn't really care for the plot this time around but the episode was enjoyable netherless. The high on mushrooms part was hilarious, I like the focus on Kunikida and that fight near the end was pretty badass. Also, Dazai taking Kunikida's glasses was actually pretty cute. I heard a lot of this wasn't in the manga according to the episode discussion. I should start the manga soon.  |

| actually the beginning was pretty funny. the nice thing about this series is the fact, that even though it has supernatural elements, the story stays mature and is told in the same way. the tone shift was pretty cool when the guy from the port mafia suddenly attacked kunikida. |

And you're right, I shouldn't have said it like I despise people who find those jokes funny - I know I do, when they are the kind of humor I enjoy. I don't know why Osamu is obsessed with suicide, or if it's been revealed in canon, but so far it's looked like this "suicide is cool and funny" kind of joke, which I don't appreciate, personally because I'm suicidal myself. (And I don't mean that a person who's depressed/feels suicidal can't find Osamu's gimmick funny.) If there's more to it which hasn't been releaved (I'm still on episode 6), I'm ready do reconsider my attitude towards the gimmick. Tl;dr I took the joke too personally because it hit too close to home and I'm sorry if I made anyone to feel bad for liking Osamu or his gimmick. |

This anime is seinen for this reason I think ( as well as for the bloody scenes and deaths of course) . It's canon . Dazai has this suicidal wish cause he's based on the real Osamu dazai who made multiple attempts at suicides . It really can't satisfy anyone . If author played it in an serious way . Many would hate dazai and the anime for being "edgy" (u know the anime community by now lol) . So author played it in a light hearted way which also won't satisfy certain people of course in return also . I find it funny honestly especially in a way at how he's failing at it and how atsushi and others react to him and resulting in some funny scenes like the mushroom scene. As for you, It's your opinion and i too fully understand how you can hate the anime for it . |

| I think this show would been better it wasn't for the comedy moments. And I'm not talking about the comedy itself (since I find some scenes very funny), but the moments when they choose to use it. I mean, they are special agents, not kids, they should behave more professionally and not doing stupid things or comments when they are working. I know they were used to make the setting less dark, but seriously, they should place the comedy better. Now, about the actual episode, glad to see more of Kunikida. I actually like the guy and his obssesion with his ideal everything and his past drama. Liked his fight with Akutagawa, he sure knows how to use the head in a battle. Dazai drugged by that mushroom was funny. Mamoru Miyano sure had fun during that scene. |

| Ahhh. An episode dedicated to Kunikida. The comedy was more funny than ever but the 'mystery' was handled bad and the killer just came out of nowhere. |

| i knew that as soon as the baddy came he would suddenly need to go off because he was "distracted", lmao. and there's nothing wrong with running away, i don't see why kuni didn't just run. he stands absolutely no chance against a being that literally destroys everything it touches. everyone was safe anyway. |

| The ecounter between kunikida and akutagawa felt like a meme lol trade 1-2 moves 20seconds later dang it interferrnce gotta go LOL. Well atleasr it looked incredible. Overall this has been pretty unintresting so far the plot is all over the place and the comedy (atleat for me) feels out of Place. I liked the Comedy in the First two episodes but now its just like cmon man Kick-off the story already and be more serious. Anyways i wont drop it but i dont think that i will be satisfied by the end of this season. |
