Your bungo stray dogs review was truly one of the most painful things I have ever had the misfortune of reading. It's certainly not for everyone, but to utterly misunderstand almost every aspect of it's story and characters...To interpret Ranpo as "pompous", to see The Dark Era episodes and not even develop a shred of understanding towards Dazai's character, and claim for him to have a "suicide complex"..You said it was trying too hard, I say you weren't trying hard enough to understand. You did not look any further than the surface when trying to understand it. I'm not saying it's the best thing ever written, it's far from it, but you've done it a grave injustice. Bungo Stray Dogs is a series that makes much more sense with a rewatch, something I think could do you some good.
