| Kaneki x Eto is still possible :D kaneki is really strong does that mean that CCG gave him ghoul meat ? Would be epic if he had full kakuja. Btw: I have feeling that this fight will end up being Kaneki eto vs CCG or Kaneki protecting eto from CCG. And why did she called him kid ? isnt she litlle bit older then kaneki ? :D |

| -Well, didn't expect that to have happened. How could she have kept him alive, he seems to have been dead a long time but somehow she kept his inteligence in the kagune. Nice to meet you too Noroi. -Hmm, I've expected Mutsuki to be smashed honestly. You don't really want to see Sassan now, I'm sure. Damn, that was really sad. Still in the end thinking of his sister, he wants her dead so she doesn't have to suffer. Forcing character development by killing, that's Ishida's forte. Urie is changed because of Shirazu, wondering how will Shirazu's death make a mark on the other Quinx. Damn, Matsuri's cold, but that's to be expected, he seemed to have had plans for Urie, he seems disappointed that he's not a heartless killing machine....God he'll love Kaneki than. -Well, the only thing he can do is dodge against Eto, but atleast he made it look well. Hmmm, guess he won't try to complete Yoshimura's wish? One-eyes cross....next one will be splendid: Eto vs Kaneki vs Matsuri, Kuroiwa and Urie. I kind of expect Kaneki to have the same reaction as Matsuri to Shirazu's death and that saddens me. |

| Shirazu's scene with Urie was really well executed and painfully realistic (or, at least, more realistic than most death scenes in anime/manga). I am sad. This was a good chapter. Must be the ninja-cutting onions again. Oh dear. |

| Dat last page.. here comes another change in Kaneki's twisted personality. First, we got the initial shy and timid Kaneki, change into the gloomy, silent yet brutal anti-hero. Now what we have? I'm guessing the still brutal with the addition of bloodlust. I find it weird how Noro got trashed like that with all the mysteriousness and hype coming out of him.. I am slightly disappointed to how he ended, I was expecting some big realization or danger out of him. Other than that, RIP Shirazu, you will definitely be remembered for your display. |

| Sad and Badass chapter Takeomi, wtf? Is he a monster? He's already getting ready to fight despite having his left hand slashed by noro back in chapter 51. I know it wasnt really clear, but the fact that Ishida not showing us his left hand in this chapter could hint that his left hand is really gone. Also what was kuramoto doing on page 11? He was unconscious then he wake up then the panel gets cut.. That last page though.. |

| I'm as happy as the next person that Kaneki presumably has all his memories back but what happened to the foreshadowing that Ishida did back in chapter 12 with Donato about Amon(supposedly) bringing Kaneki's memoreis back? Pressure from editors and fans to bring him back earlier? The last thing I want is for Ishida to not be able to tell the story he wants to tell due to TGs popularity. | @ichii_1 My god...the lengths some people are willing to go to 'reveal' how bad TG is :l And about his 'unsolved' daddy issues being bad writing...I wish u could hold off from making that assumption because it could very well be the same case with Mado, finding out more about his character/motivation/backstory AFTER he died through other characters & flashbacks... This is the same thing with people saying that character plot points were dropped when :re began when they weren't...*le sigh* |

| Ishida was all like: ''Hey, Urie, remember when you were a self-absorbed bastard that only cared for social standing? Lol, not anymore. Here, have even more development''. Really, I can't wait to see how Urie operates from now on. I didn't expect Shirazu to die. I almost felt it was quick, but we're actually 50+ chapters in. I hope Urie/the Quinx take care of his little sister, since she's pretty much alone now that her brother is gone, in a hospital room with a giant tumor sticking out of her eye. Damn, this is heavy. Loved Kaneki's move. This reminded me a lot of this. And, of course, the green-haired lunatics practically forcing me to ship them for no real reason. You just know that Kaneki is saving that bundle of malevolence called Eto in the end. I really liked this chapter. |

| So Noro may be the person who raised Eto and for some reason,which will be explained later turn him into a puppet. Shirazu died...Ok! I know I am suporsted to be making a river of tears but I just can't cry over charcter's death. Maybe it's a trauma after watching Blood-C.The only time I cried after that was at the end of Basilisk...Just sorry guys. I'm an emotionless monster! Soooooooo, one down, tree more to go. Yaaaaay! | This is probably one of the best arcs in the manga. I liked shirazu but the way he died and the way this will affect urie and kaneki (if he will return to CCG) it's going to be awesome! Eto vs Kaneki incoming, i predict some clowns movements in the next chapter |
| Oh my god! Shirazu! NOOOOOOO! He was such a kindhearted character too ;-; I've gotta say though, I'm impressed with how Ishida handles deaths in Tokyo Ghoul. It was supposed to seem like Shirazu had grown out of his former shell. No more hesitation, a new resolve, his desire to be there and take care of his little sister. And yet he dies in combat. It's just another reminder that almost anyone can die regardless of how "safe" they might seem. To me Shirazu's death is the first major once since Mado (Matsumae is still MVP). He was another character that was working on something but never got to finish it. Truly sad, but incredibly executed. Also it would really be interesting if they decide to turn Haru into a Quinx to stabilize her condition. As we know the CCG is looking into creating more Quinx since it seemed successful. It would be even more interesting if Haru is then put into the same Quinx Squad as our main Quinx. The interaction between them, especially with Urie, would be something to look forward to. Now, this is all just things I'm hoping for heh. |

| Hm, it's sad, if Shirazu is dead. I liked the hoodlum trying to be responsible development route, and the sharpened teeth set him apart design-wise. The quinx squad won't be the same without him. But on the other hand, it's good that the list of main characters shortens (hope that Kanae follows) and, indeed, both his self-discovery and his backstory moments have been done. His sister's illness is silly, btw. If he's dead, I hope they make something out of him. Urie, tho... he grew up so fast. I expected him to stay his credit-hungry self longer and make more bad choices, that was fun. Also - damn yeah, for once not this save the villain bullshit! I am so glad! I am not feeling the drama with the CCG officials though. It's nothing special that the higher-ups are desensitized to suffering. It's bad that some of them waste lives (though I am baffled by the lack of protective gear in general), but the feelings angle just doesn't work well for me. I doubt that a fighter that still can fight will be left to mourn a fallen comrade during an operation even in normal military or police. UPD: Though I must agree that it's strange they didn't try to feed him bodies. |
