| You know, the last time I feel this irritated is from watching Great Teacher Onizuka, which is last year and that's quite months ago... HELLO? EXCUSE ME??? "You don't know how miserable it is not to be able to win"???? Bruh he keeps losing before, 2 times against Araya, and even on a losing streak for 30+ straight games back in Florida!! Maruo has tasted defeat more than you does!! π‘ And he deserves the win more than you HMPH! It's not wrong to use the rules against your opponent. That can also be a part of strategy after all. But as long he keeps playing that way, Takagi doesn't deserve to be called a "tennis player". There must be a reason how Nabae can be friends with this guy. |

| Bro using all the underhanded tricks XD It's like I'm watching Kyrgios lol, excluding the complaining and shouting towards the Umpire. - You have to play to the servers pace (has to be at a decent pace though), so if Maruo is ready to serve, he should be ready to receive. Should have possibly been warned then. - Screwed up on that medical time out though, he should have played it after he held serve for 5-4, right before Maruo has to serve to stay in the set. Majority of calculated MTOs come before the opponents serve to try and disrupt the rhythm. It's a shitty move and commonly looked down upon. - The underhand serve looked technically horrible, you don't go into the trophy position at all, you do it before all that. Legit strategy though, I've never had qualms about, only the casual tennis audience throws fits about it. Whether you are up or down in score, doesn't matter. - Hitting right at the opponent at the net is also a legit strategy and sometimes the best option, happens all the time in doubles, and every now and then in singles. Ivan Lendl used to do this all the time back in the 80s. Again, it's mostly the casual tennis audience throws fits about it. A tennis ball doesn't hurt that much. - That stomp on the ground should possibly be called for hindrance, some tennis players would strike the ground with their racquets to try and put off their opponents, especially before serving. It's not consistently called by the Umpire though, it's more of a judgement call. |
