see the reason why kirino act like that to kyosuke,,
yeah everyone has a precious thing and when they see the reality that not they want they gonna be disapointed,,
but in this episode kirino is really cute,, super cute, im gonna like her in this rate before tsundere mode active,,
but seeing the her brother like peace and not like ideal person like her want make her hard work to make her brother see her as something,,
god moral message..
Really nice episode and necessary setup for the upcoming episodes, I appreciate it.
It somehow hit close to home. My little brother never looked up to me, but he surely shows me how disappointed he's with me for being so average and not trying hard enough regarding certain aspects.
In any case, it was such a good watch so far and I hope the remaining three episodes will deliver too.

-Quasar said: Manami tried to salvage what could could potentially ruin the Kousaka family with Kyousuke and Kirino heading down to the path of immoral incestuous relationship. In the end, it was all for nothing.
Manami is the true hero this anime deserves but not the one it needs. You will hate her because she can take it, because she's not a hero. She's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight.
Yes, I have to agree. And people forget that she is a child as well. She cared for him and could see that what was happening was wrong. He had 3 decent options to end up with but ended up chasing his abusive sister instead. Regardless of the title of the show, having romantic feelings for your sister is fucked up. And it's bullshit to try and normalise it.
I must say, my Kirino hate has gone way down, and my big simping for Kyousuke has a little bit too.
From the episode, we get to see why Kirino turned all tsundere, and for some reason I caught myself thinking "why is young Kyousuke so inconsiderate" the entire time. It really made me feel sorry for Kirino, but it still doesn't excuse how much of a brat she became. All in all, I think that Kirino needs to grow up and learn to accept things rather than to cling to past ideals. Yes, her brother is a new person now, but she needs to be able to love him all the same. Even though he's living a normal, peaceful life, it doesn't give her the excuse to start shaming him for doing so. Instead of a rude brat, I think of Kirino as a well-meaning yet misguided child. She wants to do her best for her brother, but her grudge (not sure how else to describe it) is preventing her from expressing it.
The ending of the series seemed a bit cut off --not as much closure as I would have wanted-- but it does provide a perspective that was desperately needed to not walk away from the show whilst absolutely hating the main heroine.
I finally got around to watching Oreimo, and it wasn't that bad! I think I'll just leave it here on this note and all is well with the world! Haha. Who am I kidding, I got to burn with the world and see the ending.
I understand that there are specials after this which wrap up the story properly, but what the hell was with that episode being the ending for the season?!
Enjoyable episode and nice to see some background to Kirino finally. Although it doesn't help her, since it just shows she started being a bitch to Kyousuke and also to Manami just because her brother grew up and wasn't as awesome as she previously saw him (a heartbreaking reveal I think a lot of us end up going through in regards to ourselves). Absolutely loved the sass from Manami though when Kirino demanded she give her her brother back. "Nope" xD
This was an episode that would have been more suited earlier in the series, probably as the penultimate episode. Having all this new stuff when it's supposed to be finishing a season was near on-par with having a season recap for the finale. A1 really messed up in this regard :/
This episode was heavily focused on Kirino's backstory, give a great deal of detailed insight in to her personal history and struggles. It was funny to finally see how she discovered the world of eroge, with her reacting just as strongly to them as she does in the present day. Also we finally got confirmation that yes she has always very much loved her brother, lets just see how deep that love goes in the coming special episodes...
Manami kinda ruined Kyousuke, even without* taking the whole distancing he and Kirino, she influenced him to be so normal he became mediocre for a time. He didn't want a "quiet" life until he started to distance himself from Kirino and if he never fell under Manami's normal-quiet influence, he could have been great as evidenced by his ability to excel at everything much like Kirino currently. He could've gone pro if Manami wasn't involved.
Never loved this series, it kinda pisses me off sometimes the tsunderes. But, oh well.
________
Starts off with a dream. He wakes up, Kirino is back from somewhere. Is on the phone and completely ignores him when he talks to her. I'll always want to hate her.
That bitch Kirino!!!
Of course I don't remember much about this series, I hated it a lot of times in some ways. Glad they reminded me that she's back because Kyousuke brought her back from her modeling in US or something, and she comes back with her bitch attitude self.
Fuck Kirino, and lol. Just from seeing the friends of Kirino back pisses me off...
Reminded the audience that Kuroneko kissed his cheek. And she's just simply on the computer when he calls her she tells him to be quiet. Man, such bitches!
Plus Kyousuke was always kinda ugly. fat face, tan, not so great voice.
Sena, I liked her at first because she always brought a great comedy to the series.
Hope she doesn't disappoint me!
Never really loved their Game Club.
Dumbass always lets himself get pushed around with the girl's words. He should get pissed and tell them off. That's why I hate this series, a lot of girls hate him for no reason because they're bitches and he doesn't tell them off.
In the middle of episode 1, she's back to dragging him to Otaku places.
Episode 2, more enjoyable. Like Kyousuke being in the offensive with Ayase, though she's stupid. Will always hate her, and her relationship with Kirino. Minami bitch defending Ayase, fuck you. Hateful pleasure of a gay anime...
[Episode 3:] Saori's story!
We go to her past when she was normal, when her older sister let her stay in her apartment with her Otaku friends, this is where Saori got extremely influenced by her sister's friend Kanata-san.
Soari is beautiful normal & without glasses!
[Episode 4:] Ria, the track & field roommate of Kirino she was with in US appears.
[Episode 5:] Will probably be one of the only episodes I'll like the most, because they're on a date. And... as I thought it had to end quickly, only half of the episode and return to her bitch self.
Kyousuke has weird relationships with girls; Kirino, Ayase and Kuroneko. They all have a crush on him but hide it by acting like mean bitches. --Episode 6, Kirino's 'boyfriend' was a lie, they clearly have feelings for each other but she's jealous that he loves her but doesn't ignore Ayase or Kuroneko.
So cute! At the end of Episode 6, Kuroneko asks Kyousuke if he wants to go out with her. Continues on Episode 7, she also confesses, and he says to give him time to think. He accepts. They become a couple!
I think what the anime wants to give is siblings that love each other but will accept the society's view of incest. And love others.
[Episode 8:] Kyousuke and Ruri keep going out and I love this episode, ... but then in the end of the episode, the next step for Ruri is to break up with Kyousuke...
And I LOVE the ending song of Ep 8.
[Episode 9:] Kuroneko broke up with Kyousuke because she was moving away and transferred schools. Kyousuke asks Kirino for advice, he cries and she wipes his tears off and she hugs him, cutest scene ever!!! I love it! Then she helps him get back Kuroneko. --They find her, and confront each other. In the end Kuroneko was only moving super close and in a family vacation, but they're all changing schools. Though they could still see each other on weekends. Its an extreme love triangle, though I guess we don't know who Kyousuke will choose in the end, all three together, or Kirino or Ruri as his lover?
[Episode 11:] Kyousuke and Kirino's mother is suspicious of their strong relationship now so they make Kyousuke live alone and to come back home he has to pass his mock exam of college with an A. --Ayase then visits, as well as Kuroneko, the first time Ayase and Kuroneko meet.
... no conclusion yet of a official pairing...
[Episode 12:] They do a celebrating party that Kyousuke has moved in with all the girls, most of all of them has feelings for him, very cute to watch. Then Ayase takes care of Kyousuke everyday --he then passes his mock exam and can live back home. Ayase confesses to him and of course he rejects her saying he loves someone else. This season is actually really beautiful with all the girls who love him and how he rejects them in the end, hopefully all of them for Kirino.
[Episode 13:] Starting with a super cute flashback of a young Kirino crying and a young Kyousuke caring for her. The little Kirino loved her brother very much! This episode shows how Kirino became who she is today and all her love for her brother.
Though the ending is simply to wait the season 3 which is kinda disappointing...

well..... I'm going to hate this season too... is what I felt at first but,
After Episode 7 the series is likable.
Decent follow up episode, I would've preferred more of the usual otaku moments and not strange sudden twists like Ayase-chan's confession but I suppose it's almost end game now so you're going to be either on board here or off the train. Based on what I've heard, I'm almost certain to not like what's to come but this is going to be my first exposure to it in proper form, so let's see how it goes.
Did Kyousuke-san manage to get the A's he needed though, lol? Surprised to know that he was once the shining star in the family, younger siblings often always have it in them to want to overvcome that hurdle but this is taking a unique route to it, lol. Minami-san's cold response was quite unexpected though, so she has been fully responsible and aware of it all along. Interesting...
Off to the heated final stretch. 7/10 for this sequel.
