| My thoughts as I am watching: I am still puzzled as to how Kotomi was good at the violin back then and now sucks. I still like her tho cuz her voice is just so cute. Looks like Sunohara is missing. Lol at the statue. WTH "you wanna fight Okazaki?" I mean he has a point. Mei didn't show she cared back in season 1. If Okazaki beats Sunohara up in a squash match, then that's BS. Sunohara legit soloed the soccer team full of buff players. Those guys are a bunch of dicks. I see why Sunohara beat them up. He's moved up my rankings of favorite characters. Heck yeah! Sunohara comes in and saves Mei. Thank goodness it wasn't Okazaki lmao. Bruh Okazaki is also to blame for this. He is the one tricking Sunohara and creating this problem. Why doesn't he take responsibility? Instead of making Sunohara out to be the devil, it should be noted that Okazaki basically created this situation. I knew Sunohara wasn't a bad guy. He is just being misled by Okazaki. Ah yes the classic "friends go back to being friends after beating each other up and laughing over it" scene. Was the misunderstanding cleared up? I assume it had to have been? Well I guess Akio was going to find out eventually lol. |

| To be honest I thought sunohara would be a dumb but smart person cause he knew on the first date with sanae that the kids didn’t want to go home. But at the end he really was just a stupid boy not knowing what to do with his time. And can somebody tell okazaki to shut tf up. Fix your problems with your dad first before you criticize him and his problems sigh annoying |

| WOW, what an episode to end the Sunohara arc on. The fight was almost perfectly choreographed; the only gripe I had is I wish they went into more detail on the fact that Sunohara acted the way he did because he had a strong sense of trust not only in Tomoya but in Mei as well, in the choices that she made as he was visiting her. I also love how they ended the episode with the same still shot that ends the VN Sunohara route. Great stuff! |

| Definitely my least favourite arc, it doesn't seem that odd that a romantic story with such strong focus on the ladies' cast would handle "guy friends" problems in the most banal way possible, but because of the care put in basically every other character's arc this one really sticks out like a sore thumb. The whole situation was also so convoluted that it would probably be frowned upon or made fun of in a show that comes out in the present day. 3/5 or 6/10, the only reason I'm not giving less is because of a few wholesome scenes throughout the arc. |
