| my goat mahiru pulling that lil bitchboy amane and giving him a peck, she valid. one of the cutest, heartwarming anime this season (and overall?!?) but goddamn did the production quality suck ASS. at least we got a good and really cute ending. genuinely hope that the bluray is better (if there is any). Project.9 really is a below average studio istg. |

| Well I can certainly say I won't be missing this show in the slightest. It'd be passable at best if all I had wanted was some visually bland wish fulfillment thing but coming in hoping for any level of decent romance it's been a complete failure. Source readers run around talking about it being a slow burn but really their relationship had just stagnated and been padded out for episode after episode with barely any actual genuine developments beyond just enough of a tease each time at there being something concrete happening to move them beyond this "absolutely not at all definitely not basically already dating totally just friends" stage they've been firmly stuck in for pretty much the entire series. Which could be somewhat redeemable if the mains were at least able to carry the show but Amane and Mahiru are just the most absolutely nothing characters possible, even when the writer tried to introduce some level of dimensionality in them it was with the most cliche'd backstory elements possible and barely really leaned into it. They have zero charisma in any interaction throughout the show with basically any single cast member and between the two of them there's just not an ounce of chemistry. Even worse than that, the way they engage with one another is completely alien, that plus all the touching one another but completely not actually acknowledging feelings they both have is unbearable to see episode after episode. Like holy shit 12th episode alone kicks off with Amane just going "if only I knew she actually liked me" after getting a kiss on the cheek as a response to him threatening that the next time she says he's cute or something like that he'll silence her without using his hand (which by the way wasn't at all a bloody awful scene in the first place.) Apparently that's somehow just not obvious enough of a sign on top of all the other obvious signs throughout the entire show on both sides. 3/10 |

| I won. Ahhh... so fucking good. Mahiru X Amane for life. They finally confessed and it was so cute. I was so happy when Mahiru said those things to those boys. Love her so much. What an end to this season. I'm hoping there will be another season for this show. |

| This ended up being a decent romcom with more SoL elements than comedy. We got a kiss on the cheek from Mahiru and Amane asking to date Mahiru so there were some good developments in this episode. Amane's mom was a good wing-woman and so was Chitose. However, speaking of Chitose, how was she able to have Amane pick the right card during the sports event? Chitose seemed to play matchmaker during that but it was a little strange how it worked out perfectly. Also, Amane annoyed me a bit at times with not only his indecisiveness but also with the weak background as to why he ended up in an apartment next to Mahiru (I believe it was some kids using him but hey at least it worked out as far as meeting Mahiru). The character designs were good but the animation was lacking. I mostly liked the storyline but I felt it dragged at times. Overall I give this a 7/10 as it was still good. |

| Fujimiya finally gives in at long last, I guess Mahiru's hard work finally payed of, I guess cornering Fujimiya was the best option otherwise he wouldn't be pushed to confessing to her anytime soon had their relationship had been kept private, Sports Festival really did it for him, with their relationship going public, he had no choice but to make her his. |

| The angel next door spoils me rotten, also known as, "Amane gives himself blue balls for half a season." Super slow build up, but a very cute couple in the end. No real kiss was a tiny let down, but oh well. I'm not a huge romance fan as it is, so whatever. Mahiru was cute from ep 1 to ep 12 and thats what i was here for. 7/10 |

| I couldn't finish because I was traveling in Japan. But when I got home it was the first thing I did. I'm glad I watched this great anime. The ending made my heart skip a beat and I really rejoice. Few series already make me feel something. I really liked the ending and I hope I can enjoy much more of this series. I hope the novel excites me as much as the anime. I'm so glad that I started this anime one day without realizing it. I felt identified to Amane. And although I did not have the same luck. I feel that I am the same to Maybe I should try a little harder. I hope that by reading the novel I can discover much more about what will happen and I hope I like it. It is certainly something worthwhile. since it comforts your heart  |

| so this was ayanokoji's untold backstory, being roast by mahiru before the events of classroom of the elite and later got a girlfriend who look like her? i guess the anime has end, that was a fun ride tho. |

| One last dose.. Well they delivered years worth of diabetes, ik it's good for health but something should go like forever fr.. Am already at hospital because of this anime and now heard tonikawa s2 coming in April look like my days are now numbered 1:45 i thought they dropped the bomb already uhhh they really did god what wait on cheeks? nah did i got bamboozle twice ๐ฟ The gap is closing lil by lil now se- ahem-_-.. Seeshh it's been long time or First time? That i paused an ep this many time to take breath bruhh this anime is far too much Sweet for our health I can't.. well as they say everything has an end.. it was a great journey indeed.. i better see another season or imma do itachi thing.. |

| Finally a proper confession (albeit with no kiss scene) after 11 episodes of practically nothing. Chitose's intentions could have backfired in such a bad way but thankfully, Mahiru's simps are just walking jokes and not vengeful pricks. Thus Chitose, MVP of this finale. But seriously, no matter what this episode would have offered, it wouldn't have saved this show from being a total snoozefest for 11 whole episodes. It was such a drag to see both MCs denying the obvious and finally deciding to take some initiative just when the show was concluding. Production values were mediocre at best, dialogues felt unnatural for the most part, Mahiru and Amane's banter moments felt incredibly forced and to this point, I still see Amane as another generic self-insert. I mean, Mahiru's simps are literal nobodies but they weren't lying when they were describing MC. For real, this season could have been shortened to 4-5 episodes with better direction and pacing and the impact would have been stronger. 4/10 - So... Sofa-kun best character? He was always there to support our MCs, after all. |

I can totally identify with Amane because I've been in a similar situation. Uncannily similar in some ways. But there you are, it really resonates with me and probably doesn't with a lot of people. Which is not to make out I'm superior or anything at all, it's just the way things are for me.I get that point but it doesn't apply to this anime because by episode 6 they where 100% a couple already and they just dragged the kiss for 6 more episodes. |

| Quite a mixed bag for me. The show had it's ups and downs, and specially the early episodes were kind of a chore to watch because of both Shiina and Amane's cold personalities (that eventually change with character growth in the long run, which is a good thing). There's also the very lively and needed ambiance that Chii-chan and Itsuki bring to the group. On the other hand it feels quite a slog plenty of times with very long dialogues between Shiina & Amane. I'm okay with banter, and I admit I'm quite against long dialogues product of light novel titles (if I would have wanted to read long dialogues I'd rather go for the source). The poor animation down to really bad animation and poor art in a couple of episodes also put a dent on my enjoyment. But probably my biggest gripe is that the whole concept does feel like just wish fulfilment and a fantasy for the average guy to get a house wife without all the steps to go in an intimate relationship. I'll give it a 6.5 just because there were some really good portions in both main's character growth. |
