If Kurumi could just go away, that would be wonderful, but it was a fantastic episode nonetheless.

Kurumi has a lot of self control, I'm waiting to see her snap.
But still... I kinda feel a little sorry for her.

"Why is it that there's always someone who's interrupting us?", Kazehaya-kun thought to himself. *agrees with him*

KURUMI FINALLY SHOWED HER TRUE COLORS.

Sawako's innocence... *facepalm* She should not let herself be swayed by Kurumi's treatment to her!

The more I watch more I want to see what is next.
As the series has 24 episodes I think it is not too slow. But this is indeed a critical point once it defines the way the series is going to take.
I hope Kazehaya don't be interrupted anymore haha we know it will happen again and again haha

I know this series needed drama, but I just wanted to yell at Sawako for being so oblivious! I hate the feeling where something bad and dramatic will happen soon...

Though on that note, still excited to see what will happen next.

Kurumi is taking advantage of Sawako's innocence...!
I feel like the next part is going to be hard to watch.

Hopefully Kazehaya can work out what is going on, I'm sure he will realise that there was something weird about Kurumi just happening to appear from the window above them.

Bleh. I was appreciating Kurumi's heavy passive-aggressive approach and how it backfired on her, but that part at the end was just dirty. While I wouldn't fault her for confessing to Kuzehaya, playing off of Sawako's innocence annoys me.

This series has been playing with the tropes quite a bit so far, though, so maybe it won't be quite what I imagined.

Imagining the flow of the game .. without Hindrance , then Sh*t just got real .
Closer and Closer ~ .. Nervousness ~ . Seems so natural ~ .
And She seems will never be closer to being 'natural' ~ . That accent ~ .
Well .. Glad that Sawako is a naive one .. Advice not to underestimate her ~ .
Be Optimistic girl ~ !! "One step at a time." Don't turn to the dark side .
While .. Kurumi has already became cunning of her own methods .
Very great episode . Alright , Truth has been spoken by the names of it ~ .

I knew it! I so knew it!

Still, this sudden change of Kurumi - well, not change, more like revelation - feels very weird. I mean, it was bound to happen, but if you look close, her acts haven't changed. The only thing that has changed is what the anime shows us (the symbol for anger and Kurumi's deep mood). The way Sawako sees her hasn't changed, and imo no other characters can see Kurumi's real nature. Therefore, I don't see the reason for that change in the way the anime presents Kurumi.

Could be that sometimes she's more relaxed about her nature, and before that we only saw Sawako's point of view?

Also, I really loved the fact that Kazehaya misses talking with Sawako and he senses somehow what Kurumi is doing.

Chizu and Ayane are such great characters! I love how they complement each other <3 weird as they are, I really wish I had friends like them.

I hate Kurumi, i mean all people want what they want, but she is so two-faced and does everything with a plan in mind!
Like love isnt hard enough! And cause Sawako is such a sweet person she would never try to date someone that her "supposed" friend likes! Aaah i am pretty upset!

SO Kurumi just confessed that she likes Kazehaya. I wonder if she even likes for who he is, or just likes him for the popularity.

So this one starts with Kurumi popping in on Sawako at the worst of times. When she’s practicing soccer, when she’s learning new strategies for the big game, and when she’s hanging out with Ayane and Chizuro. Lol those two don’t seem too fond of Kurumi. They think she’s gonna steal Sawako from them.

Lol Sawako and Kazehaya don’t even know how to talk to each other without getting awkward now. She can barely look at him without getting flushed. They’re so cute. Kurumi needs to stop interrupting their moments..

Sawako bumps into Kurumi in the hall and all she can think about is how much she wants to be like her. Lol I loved the scenario In her head where she and Kazehaya were American. The accents were great.

Kurumi gives Sawako some “advice” on how to talk to Kazehaya. She basically says he doesn’t treat her differently from anyone else and she might as well talk to someone else because their personalities clash too much. Yeah, I can see where this is going...

Sawako is thankful for the talk she and Kurumi had. The poor thing is so dense she didn’t realize Kurumi was just trying to put her down and get her away from Kazehaya. Sawako tells Kurumi she hopes she can be more like her one day, and little to Sawako’s knowledge, this infuriates Kurumi. I wonder how much longer she’s gonna put on this little facade of hers..

Ayane and Chizuro chat about Kurumi and it seems that neither of them trust her. Chizuro brought up a time in middle school when Kurumi manipulated her into ensuring no girls would go after Kazehaya. It seems just like something she would do. Both Chizuro and Ayane know what’s up with Kurumi getting close with Sawako, and for now, they’ve decided to watch and see what happens.

Sawako and Kazehaya bump into each other again. Things were a bit awkward at first. But they soon realized they were both nervous while around each other so it helped them finally relax. They’re finally talking normally again yay. He even invited her over to his place to see Maru-Chan.

Of course Kurumi was listening in from a window and quickly calls down on Sawako. Kazehaya sees her and calls her “Kurumizawa,” her last name, not her given one. This makes Sawako so relieved when she sees that Kazehaya never actually used Kurumi‘s given name. You can see Kurumi shake with rage but she covers it up with her signature fake smile. From here, she asks Sawako to walk alone with her so they can have a girl talk. I didn’t like the idea of them being alone to be honest.

While they’re alone, there are several instances where Kurumi almost lashes out at Sawako, but she manages to keep her anger subsided. She tells Sawako the truth and that she likes Kazehaya and asks Sawako to support her as she seeks him out, leaving us on a bit of a cliffhanger. I wonder how Sawako will react..? I’m sure it’s not gonna settle too well with her.

Uhm... I wonder if someone really noticed the sociopath tendencies Kurumi showed in this episode... like, regarding the flashback, by just talking, she convinced a bunch of girls to accept a pact where Kazehaya belonged to everyone... I mean, what a way to get rid of the competition, Kurumi. What a manipulative bitch you are, nicely done.

Anyways, interesting episode. Sawako's optimism dodged Kurumi's first blow and honestly, seeing her being mad because she couldn't get her way with Sawako was quite pleasant to see.

And also I'm really starting to love Ayane I mean, she already knows about what might be happening between Sawako and Kazehaya and now, she could recognize Kurumi's intentions way easier than I thought, I just love how attentive she is.

And that last scene tho. I wonder what Sawako will do but at least, it's good to know that this dilemma of helping Kurumi or not surely will give Sawako some important development as a character.

P.S.: I just loved the fact that Sawako was able to owned Kurumi twice in an episode without even knowing it xD

I honestly feel bad for Kurumi, I can see her situation. She's probably been in love with him since middleschool, so that makes it years, yet she couldn't take action even after all that time. And now, suddenly, Sawako comes in and becomes his mutual lover! The way she tries to handle the situation is very gentle, but at the end, she just couldn't take it anymore.

kurumi is so manipulative, it makes me sick that she knows that sawako sees the best in people & is slowly coming out of her shell & trusting others, & she takes advantage of that kindness. what a snake. these kind of girls will never grow out of it & will bring this trait into whatever relationship they get into, how toxic.

as someone mentioned above, i hope kazehaya will realise what's up. i don't take him for a dense guy & he has known kurumi for a while, it will be refreshing to see him actually confront her & not just remain oblivious.

but i’ll probably remember over and over again

As soon as we first saw Kurumi, I knew she was nothing but trouble. The show did lull a little with the lack of external drama, but it seems like that issue is about to end when all this goes down. I'm interested in how Sawako will deal with it and how much her friends are going to be involved to be completely honest.
Have a great day!

Kurumi is a great villainess, and like all villainesses are way more interesting than the goody-two-shoes protagonist.

I hope she finds happiness with a man tough enough to handle her!

Kazehaya's just too sweet for her.

Stalker-B's mask starts to crack and pretty much almost breaks at the end.

From the stuff she said to Sawako and the middle school story she is clearly a manipulator.

100% certain she the rumour starter now.

Also Ume...... fitting name for a Sour B*tch.

The way she tries to disguise her bitterness in kind and supporting words is actually smooth like it could seem like actual advice especially since Sawako is dense like that and she would defintely not see her jealousy.

Watching this because this got a 3rd season but if 3rd season is gonna be this kind of atmosphere and storytelling, the future seems really grimmed. As of this episode this series doesn't seem to age well at all. Well, praying for future episodes to be better.
I cannot bring myself to rate anime that I have completed below 5. Well, it just because I have use up my precious time to watch it. so, the worse you will get from me is 5 (changes may apply)

Kurumizawa is like a poison; a very slow acting poison. Now she basically forces Sawako to choose between her "friendship" with her and her blooming feeling for Shota. Evil genius.
Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load.
