| This was probably my favorite episode of the series thus far, as it really took its time with its characters, pacing itself out while building a heavy yet calm atmosphere. In fact, I think I'm almost enjoying this season more than the previous one. The fights in this series aren't really my thing, and this season saw a downgrade in them, so an episode without fights is quite the boon. Additionally, the series felt lacking in actual characterization, so these past few episodes felt better in that regard. While it's bits and pieces, I enjoy learning more about the characters' daily lives, their relationships with one another, their histories, and their reasons for doing what they're doing. It's key in helping me care about what happens to them in the upcoming episodes. The moment when Yoshimura and Shinohara having a coffee together was fantastic, all the way to Yoshimura reflecting in his office and Shinohara coming to terms with his duties. By the way, I wouldn't mind watching a series revolving around Yoshimura's past. A series about a man and a woman trying to overcome differences between their races to live together? Cliche as it might be, I think it would give Tokyo Ghoul a new dynamic to its setting, especially if it were to focus solely on just those two characters on the run. For now though, I suppose this brief moment of respite is all we'll get. Lastly, I think I like Touka more in this season. It might be due to her chilling out and just living her life, despite her character getting entwined with Kaneki's. Or I dunno, maybe it's because she's less active and has had fewer reasons to get agitated over things, which made her appear more pleasant of a person. I find it hilarious that the two futures she thought of were being a teacher or a coffee shop owner, as school and Anteiku are the only two places her character is associated with. But, it gives some meat to her character, and I very much appreciate that sentiment, however, little it may be. |

| Didnt waste any one the tragedy... guessing it was Yoshimura backstory.. (as of what i have read n seen.. ) what a sad past... poor Ukina.. but did the child survive or na.? and what will happen too the shop now? |

| Wow, that was a really sad at the start! So Yoshimura was an assassin who didn't care anyone until he met a girl, had a baby, his girl got killed and then his son turned in to the owl!! D: Wow, that's even more interesting than if Yoshimura was the owl. Wow! Awww, Touka and Hinami went away. |

Yoshimura-san's backstory hit me right in the feels...It's both a beautiful love story and a sad, tragic past. |

| There's something to a series that always manages to create the perfect atmosphere in key moments, and Tokyo Ghoul is one of the few shounen shows that just nails it. The way they pull out that "Glassy Sky" track, it just oozes "cool." I'm looking forward to the new season. |

| Yoshimura's story of himself from the past was magnificent. Good to know who he really is and what hardship he had to endure after he began to be a peaceful ghoul. What I will say is gonna sound bad and realistic at the same time, but he deserved it for what he did during his, let's call them, "bloodthirsty days". |

| Pretty slow episode, but I really enjoyed it. I love how the soundtrack along with the visuals of Tokyo and the snow create this beautiful atmospheric mood. It's so beautiful and serene; the perfect calm before the storm before shit inevitably hits the fan in the coming episodes. |
| We got some flashbacks about The Owl by Yoshimura very detail indeed I suppose Damn a lot has been happening inside the cafe lately it's pacing up quite a bit CCG might be planning on exterminating the owl as well So that clears things up Yoshimura is The Owl from the last episode's hint and up until now, that was all that build-up was meant for, I was shocked to really confirm that it was true indeed. |

| the old ghoul yoshimura has a son he is none other than the notorious mass killer one eyed ghoul owl.such a sad story ended soon.. its winter season snow showers its freezing cool... nishiki enjoying his peaceful days with his girlfriend but some people are stalking him...anteiku people are being followed by cgg organization. anteiku in trouble what happens next? |

| Nice soundtracks to pair up with a nice backstory. I thought the moment with touka was solid |

| Well I thought this episode ccg would attack but it's gonna be next episode. Liked the backstory of Yoshimura. Those tea cups in mangers room got more screen time than some of the characters. |
