Holy fuck, episode 9 was SO good. Shinichi's gradual change in character due to Migi's celling in him is certainly interesting. Though I wonder what'll happen to the supposed Romance between Shinichi and Murano. And that cliffhanger ending, god I hate them. ;-; It's obvious that the girl'll learn about Shinichi too. |

Some of you say each episode ends intentionally when it comes to the cliff-hanger. But I guess, as for this anime, that it is not a precise interpretation, I suppose. I mean, that is because this show has so many tensions, but because wherever or whenever the flow of story have paused, it is unavoidable for the parts to be set on a cliff-hunger. and the next part will come to tell you |

Lol, Shimada is losing his gangsta mojo lately. No fucks were given. None at all. Ahah. Also, can the glasses chick get any dumber? Sheesh. I hope that she dies because she totally deserves it. But obviously, Shinichi will come to the rescue and his secret will probably get revealed. Let's see how this pans out. Can't wait. |

Why are there so many idiots in this show? First, the dumb bullies who don't take warnings to heart, even when it's been shown that they have no chance in beating even Shinichi, much less Shimada (whom Shinichi specifically warned them not to cross paths with before). I get the feeling that those guys are still dumb enough to not listen and to try and get themselves sliced up later on in this show. Second, that dumb Murano, seriously, you realize there's something wrong with Shimada, your brother tells you that there are human-murdering aliens who can shape-shift into other people, you've literally seen your classmate do the exact same thing with your own eyes, and yet for no good reason, you have to see him in a private classroom on like the fourth floor with no place to run and escape, to ascertain that he's a murderous alien and actually expect that if he is that he'll listen to your humanistic pleas to leave and never kill again? Maji-de? Are you a friggin' idiot? Nevermind, it's rhetorical. Third, those investigators. So you're having a conversation about a certain extra-terrestrial species who happens to eat humans, why did you not post people up on guard so that innocent people, ala Shinichi, wouldn't walk in on this "sensitive" conversation? Why the hell would Murano's brother even TELL her about the case? He could have just shrugged it off as some practice assignment instead of spilling the beans right? Do you REALLY want to keep the matter under wraps and NOT spread panic to the general populace? Yeah, I can totally see that, you cops are doing a "GREAT JOB" of that. ::Que sarcastic slow applause:: Seriously, apart from the new Shinichi, Migi and the aliens, every else in this show has been acting like monkeys with pea-sized brains here. |

The girl with the glasses saw the parasyte regenerate and morph faces and she decides to tell him to not kill people smh -_- And that "Shut up!" scene was pretty awesome. Murano really got on Shinichi´s nerve for asking stupid questions. |

This show is too amazing. I don't feel like I deserved 2 episodes in one day. But even then, I still can't wait. I think I might get the manga just to find out what happens. I kind of figured Shinichi might seem less "human" since Migi said part of him is floating around his blood. But even if he doesn't show it, that doesn't mean he still doesn't "feel" the way he used to about certain things. Overall, I think his very well written character development is something that most anime of late are seriously lacking. And it's so damn refreshing to see a show that can make you think, empathize, and continue keeping you hooked w/o the aid of ANY fanservice :) |

Two great episodes. Shimada is a parasyte creep but his cool. That girl with glasses is stooped as hell, why the heck you try to convincea monster to not kill humans, is like I try to convinceyou to not eat at mcdonald's anymore. And Izumi needs to get control of his new self, the guy is cool and all but he needs to use his brain and see that the way he acts is making Murano getting away from him. |

I get the feeling that those guys are still dumb enough to not listen and to try and get themselves sliced up later on in this show. Wrong. Shin'ichi did not warn the bullies about anything. He did not even meet Shimada until after the delinquent fought him. Shin'ichi only defended against the delinquent and then take him to the ground a few times. The most did was give a glare and say "It's not like last time". The delinquent only went to face Shimada because Shimada had business with his acquaintance, Kana. He was hit with some kind of attack from behind in the toilets which is what he gets for turning his back to his opponent. Of course the natural thing to do next is gang up on Shimada 6v1. You wouldn't expect to lose 6v1 against an unarmed high school student. If you want to prevent panic, you stop weird rumors from spreading before they start. You don't go telling high school girls (who have a tendency to gossip and spread rumors) about murderous aliens. The reason why they call information lock-down is because all information is locked down. As a part of the investigation team, her brother should have been sworn to secrecy about it in order not to cause panic. Blabbing about it to his high school sister just makes him that incompetent of an investigator. naki12 said: L-Ryoshi said: Why are there so many idiots in this show? That bully dude just didn't know where to stop and kept coming, even after getting beat first by Shinichi's seniors, then by Shinichi himself and then by Shimada. He just keeps coming back for more. That's what you call an idiot. Either that or he's a hard Masochist who likes getting his ass beat. Second, just because that girl doesn't know whether Shimada is a murderer, does not mean that she can waltz into a fourth floor classroom with a bottle of god knows what (I'm assuming its acid), and ask the suspected murderer whether he is, well.... a suspected murderer! Regardless of anything, SINCE she already suspects him of being a murderous alien, you would expect that she would do something more to protect herself. She brought him into a room where even she herself would find hard to escape, with NO ONE around them. Even if he weren't really an alien, even I would find her logic to be majorly messed up. Why put yourself in such a dangerous position in the first place? Why not talk with him somewhere you can guarantee your own safety first? Why not set up more precautions in case he really IS a murderer, since you already suspect it? She has courage, I'll give her that, but that doesn't mean that she's not stupid. Both concepts are mutually exclusive. As for the third point, MAYBE your theory doesn't fly with general concepts. If you're talking about a private matter that you don't want anyone to hear, you make sure that no one has the ability to listen in, just because you think you have good hearing doesn't mean you can ignore protocol and not take precautions. Either you're lazy, or the Japanese police system is just that lax with protocols, I don't know. Either way, it doesn't bode well for my opinion of their intelligence. Second, as I mentioned before, if you don't want to start widespread panic, you don't start silly baseless rumors and spread them to the general populace. That's exactly what Murano's brother did. As I said before, he could have just shrugged it off as an art piece, but he chose to spill the beans to her. He MAY or MAY NOT know if she'll panic and tell everyone else that she knows, but that in itself is a breach in information lock down, AND a potential for spreading panic. As a professional investigator, are you suppose to take that risk in telling your sister? To put it in another way, do all Japanese police (or any police for that matter) share all their private, ongoing cases with family and relatives? If it were so serious as murder investigations, I highly doubt that they would. I don't know whether this is an accurate portrayal or not, but this show is showing the Japanese investigators as incompetent idiots who don't follow protocol. There's no two ways about it. |

I had been seeing people saying the girl was dumb to confront the guy at the end. Well, my reaction was exactly like the norm; 'How stupid can the girl be to confront the person alone?' But after thinking more, I can't say the girl is exactly stupid. First, throughout the episodes 8 and 9, we can see that the girl likes the guy to the point she has no doubts about him until her classmate asked if the guy's face is fake. That's when she started to investigate. After seeing how the guy's face can change, she has her doubts to the point she almost tells her brother yet at the same time, her like for the guy prevent her from doing so and instead, she decided to confront the guy, hoping she was wrong... But unfortunately, the guy turned out to be the monster that the girl could not believe to be in the first place. In the end, you could say the girl is blinded by her like for the guy, holding on to the 'hope' that the guy is not the monster her brother described to her... Really hope she survive since she is simply an innocent victim that got dragged into this mess.-Hope Shinichi will make it in time to save her or the whatever chemical she prepared does some help in this situation. Also, wonder if Shinichi told Murano about his situation, will Murano still like him or be disgusted...(Haven't read the manga><) To add on, to those who think the thugs/gangsters were dumb, if you think in the shoes of them who do not know the existence of those monsters, obviously seeing as they have more people as to dealing with one person, they feel they are more superior. It is just like what Migi explained in the earlier episode that a huger gang pose a better force than an individual. It is us audience who know who is a monster and who is not, that finds the people approaching those monsters as dumb. |

L-Ryoshi said: Yes, they explained that they had to keep it secret, and yet Murano's brother just blabs about it the very first instance that Murano ASKS about it. Agreed. In addition to that, he must have kept the sketchbook in the police office to begin with. The sketch must be classified top secret. But, he is just a cop who is good at drawing and possibly doesn't completely believe the absurd story the governmental people are investigating. |

How can Yuko be that that stupid? Like why would she even ask? That's like asking a serial killer if he's a serial killer... Of course something bad is going to happen to you. |

The glasses girl is so much useful that Murano (tho she's an idiot for confronting the new guy). Even Shinichi's stalker girl is way better than his own love interest... |

His father already notified him and Migi told him that there's a parasite before Shinji opened the door. I've never in my life wished for the death of a MC in a series until now. You should try looking at the situation from the MC's perspective, not from yours. |

Its ok, Shinichi can get with the black haired chick, she looks way cuter. :P What's with all that random shouting from Shinichi when he gets mad, that doesnt seem parasite like or shinichi like, which confuses me. Hopefully there's still an episode next week and we just got a freebie bonus ep this week |
