| Watched this show in one go. All in all I enjoyed it a lot! :] But: ^This! I can think of many ways to do it better (at least from my point of view)! Good Explanation for what was shown in the last minute of the last episode: That makes sense. But still, Im not satisfied with it! It doesnt feel as "completed" as it should have. | How would Reiji fucking die from a gun with a silencer that shot him ONE time. Sycthe master freaking shot him several times and he even fell into the ocean,and he still survived. But NOO, He just have to die because of freaking one bullet in the end. What happened to his "Natural born survival instincts"? He didn't freaking sense the danger behind him? PATHETIC. | I think you're thinking too hard. This is a show that has totally messed up foreign cultures. It's just a dumb thing they did. Not to mention that if it were his father, he would have taken the Italian last name completely and not done some strange Gertalian. |

Also, I know two flowers that are poisonous, which exist in Mongolia: Delphinium and Rhododendron, though the prior usually (only usually) possess long stems and makes you vomit when you consume them, the latter is only lethal for horses. As a side note, the petals of delphinium are very poisonous. But as I said, I don't think the species are important. |
| The whole second half of this series was far too predictable for me. From the moment the OP changed and they returned to Japan it all went downhill. The cliche ending simply cemented it for me. The Super-Awesome-Drones are actually worthless? Check. Main villain finally bites the big one, and at the hands of his apprentice no less? Check. One of the two main characters dies in the final peaceful scene? Check. Overused plot devices, the lot of 'em. And from where I stand, Elen was alive at the end. The writers thought we were too stupid to get it from the sound effect alone that Reiji received a fatal wound, so they decided to show the casing just to make sure we got the picture. Erg. Lame. For what it's worth, I really enjoyed the first half. |

| I thought Elen was still alive till I checked the ending again. So everyone died in the end. It's not that surprising though a little sad. Remember the title has requiem for the phantom in it. Phantom was still enjoyable and different for the most part. |

I don't think that Elen ate a petal and then died anyways.XD I was only giving possibilities for those who said that. |

| In my opinion, this is exactly how the show should end. Zwei and Ein, as much as we love them, have killed far too many people for inferno. They left inferno, their fate is sealed. It's only a matter of time before inferno find them. They're lucky to survive this long. I think Ein is mentally damaged after she shot SM. After shooting SM, she lost her only excuse/escape for all her killings. The guilt piles up and probably have broke her completely. Her energy is ridiculously low during the final few minutes of the show. 9/10 for this amazing show ^_^ |

Everybody was happy, just re-watch the ep to see Ein's "just as planned" smile when she saw Reiji got shot and you will know what I mean....;) |
