| Ryuk sure is creepy. "Nothing to see here mom, just talking to a shinigami!' I can say that I didn't get pumped until it showed Light writing so earnestly with epic orchestral music playing, after that I thought things could get pretty cool in this show. It's only episode one so I hope it gets more intense, what with its hype and all. I really like the art and style. Light's character already seems one dimensional but okay, I'm going to roll with it and see. |

| First watched this anime back in 2017 but stopped paying attention halfway through and have been meaning to get back into it since, completely forgot how good the first episode is |

Ik they probably said something about it but I don’t remember it The government knows they aren't doing this. The serial killer is just a word used to describe the person/people/organisation carrying out the crimes. And the crimes are clearly close to supernatural levels. How will it lead to the government thinking this is an act of God or crazy conspiracy theories or an act of....the government...? Huh. |

| I picked this one up because it's heralded as a classic It seems neat and interesting enough to warrant an enjoyable time, but the vibe isn't really my forte. |

| I was surprised they revealed this much of the plot in the first episode, but it was still pretty good. If Ryuk can't interact with the human world though why can he eat apples? |
