Interesting Komachi B episode, it's nice to learn more about Kana.... I like how Ruby was the one who reignited Kana's spirit once again :) |

| I can really relate to Kana in this episode. Having a lot more experience (which means more cemented experiences of failure*) at a young age compared to your peers combined with nobody supporting you can be super haunting. I was so happy to see a breakthrough in this episode. Though a part of me still wants to see what Ruby would be like as the center. *Those moments when her eyes went dead (talk with Piyo on the balcony and then later discovering that was Aqua) was a nice detail to show her thought process |

| Loved how Kana gave advice about the importance of sleep only for her to end up not getting enough sleep lmao. Also, that Ruby and Kana moment really touched me. I loved how Ruby made Kana realised that she didn't have to shoulder everything on her own and that as an idol, they're all rookies. (⊃｡•́‿•̀｡)⊃ |

| I felt that this episode was one of the few that truly had something to offer. Oshi no Ko can be surprisingly solid when it focuses on a character that isn't Aqua and dives deeper into their struggles as we've seen with Ai and Akane. Now here comes the next problem: Why is every conflict resolved as soon as it appears? Kana is scared to drag Ruby and Mem-cho down with her. Fine, but then it immediately resolves this conflict at the end of the Episode. There's no crisis, no disaster, just payoff. This was the same with Akane. She spiraled for one episode and then immediately resolved her issues in the next one. I swear, this anime would have been much better if it was structured as an anthology or at least an episodic series about the entertainment industry. Every single good thing has been aside from the main story. This episode also made me realize once more that the extremely artificial and melodramatic feel really doesn't do the show any favors. It's really hard to take a commentary on the lies and deception in the entertainment industry seriously when the scenes that are supposed to be "real" are saturated with glowing colors, swelling music and voice-over explaining everything that is shown on screen. Alright, rant is over, I hope y'all have a good day and feel free to agree or disagree. |

| Aqua is such a good actor he made three girls (two of them adults) believe this bulky Pieyon dude was always skinny. Or maybe these girls are way dumber than they let on... Kana-focused episode. Really liked it though best girl sure can be a bit too loud when anxious. Anyways, looking forward to the live performance and hopefully, they will reveal something more about Ai's murder before the season ends. |
| I'm starting to dislike Kana, I hope this really help her character grow because I like her, but all she really talks about is her self hate and that became very annoying very quickly. Also I hated so much how she began to think about dating Pieyon just because he was being nice in a moment she was clearly sad, and because he makes big money, ofc I know many people think that way, sadly, but it made her sound like a bitch. btw Kana and Ruby trained with Pieyon before, and everyone knows he is buff af, and supposedly none of these girls realized that skinny dude wasn't him? lol Also I love that Ruby really loved Aqua in their past lives, now that's 100% confirmed, it wasn't just a joke she made back then. I don't want them to end together because of fkng incest but damn that could make for a really heartwarming drama if used correctly. Anyways, just one episode left, that sucks, this anime isn't as good as I expected from all the hype, but it's fun, show me more Mem-Cho plz she is just the best one here, I love her goofy faces and voice ❤️ |

| The pressure on B Komachi is high. Arima Kana faces all the dark past that has been pulling her down all this time. Aqua actually pretended to be Peiyon. Aqua is quite manipulative, but I can't come to hate him, because he has eyes only for one person — find Ai's killer. If the killer is manipulative, he needs to be manipulative too. Deal poison with poison. |
