| This episode was absolutely phenomenal, what a cool way to pay tribute to entire series' best moments by the time the time all Strawhats reunite in the front stage. So many memories, this is one of the few times I don't mind the flashback padding in any possible way, it was all perfectly fitting with what they were going for in here <3 6/5 episode. |

| All that to get the same horrible pacing and almost non progression even though they're two feet apart all the time. Feels like they just talk around and scream their names at each others. Ussop/Franky/Chopper as useless as ever |

| I thought we were getting a Luffy VS. Kaido fight in episode 1000 because of the poster they made to hype up the episode with. Instead we got a pretty regular episode with some very nice sakuga and then the second half of the episode were a stylish re-introduction of all the Straw Hats and their bounties. Oh well, at least the opening was truly wonderful! Thank you, Toei! |
| THier introductions were nb, but twould be more relevant for the last episode or something. They have come a long way and after all these decades oh boi its been a ride. Here hoping for another 1k episodes haha. |

| My congratulations to One Piece for reaching the 4-digits episode count. I'm still wondering if its story and development really needed to be this long (and counting) to be properly told, but hey, on the other hand, it's cool to see another anime title joining this exclusive club. |
| I was hoping for more after all is the episode 1000. The opening was great nostalgia with the new crew, but the episode itself was average for me. I really don't know what to think, miss feelings for me at least. Anyways congratulations to all the fans for making it this far. |

| A lot of Nostalgia and fond memories of my past gushed through my brain and body could feel the adrenaline, probably the OP was my fav part of the whole thing. over all thoughts didn't live up to my expectations 4/5. |

| It's so easy to forget about the insanely great moments we've gotten in One Piece when we complain about pacing and animation at times. But ... One Piece is an anime that's one of a kind. It was beautiful seeing the original OP song and just going back on some of the Straw Hats' major moments, the animation was a step up too which makes sense since 1000 episodes is an amazing and special achievement. I do think it could've been more special by going all out with the animation and maybe not as many flashbacks but it was great either way. |

| Who knew 2 decades ago that we would reach such a milestone... Apart from the remake of the opening, I liked that they used the old eyecatchers and Usopp breaking the fourth wall. I didn't expect such a thing to happen! |

| YOU JUST HAD TO BE THERE i started reading the manga after dressrosa but watched a few important episodes since and episode 1k to celebrate neko and inus transformations looked so badass i got chills at the end with the flashbacks the remastered op was 10/10 too its been a wild ride |

| They really set this up for the 1000th episode. I like the opening obviously, what a tribute. My only gripe is that I think they should've reintroduced the Strawhats by the order they joined so Luffy then Zoro then Nami and so on. But well. |

| Damn i just looked at the opening remake. And despite i'm not a fan of OP (i have like 500 episodes behind me and i'm not too fond of the manga), all i can say i really loved the OP. I just hope the manga/anime will have a proper ending in a few years, it's great. |

| Gotta say the opening brought back some good memories... to a time when One Piece actually deserved the 10/10 I gave it back then. The rest of the episode was more bad pacing, fodder fights and flashbacks. |
| What a long, strange trip it's been. The OP was perfect. Back to where it all began, but with the addition of everywhere we've been since then. Same for the crew scenes--I'm generally not a fan of "flashback" type stuff, but I'll make an exception when it's done this well and brings back so much. And as always, being outnumbered doesn't mean they're losing. Looking forward to the rest of the journey, however long it may be. |

| One Piece 1000 was not even that good, atleast for the final 5 minutes they could have re-animated the greatest straw hat moments like they did in 957. Toei still using 10 pages per episode for a landmark moment. 2/5 for this one. |

| We did it, guys! Ep. 1000th finally. Been following this anime since ep. 619 (Punk Hazard arc) in 2013. Somehow it was sad and disappointing it wasn't an adaption of ch 1000, but it was as expected. Didn't expect a remake of the op. 1, which is the classical one and really the best one too. They did make it different which was nice. Also, so many nostalgic scenes. They should have it for that. Instead of the usual stretching, they showed some flashbacks, which is quite rare. I have my doubt, but I can't wait to reach ep. 2000th in about 20 years. xD |

| Opening brought back the feels, what an unbelievable ride it's been! However, i didn't really like the episode. My personal "episode 1000" was 982 - that's what peak one piece could be like and what i kind of expected for episode 1000. :( |
| Man I probably replayed the opening 5 times before even watching the episode itself. Bringing back the old eye catcher was such a nice addition. Also that ending was perfection, 10/10 episode. |
