Yeah, blaming the author on this case I suppose is a bit too far since I remember in the novel it''s only just a letter. It's up to the imagination of the viewer to interpret what the letter content. In this episode the anime director decided to animate that scene instead just showing Rudy scene with Roxy's voice when he read the letter. In the end I suppose this makes me finally realize that that though there are many similarity the anime and the light novel are two separate works. |

| Another fantastic episode! I am really enjoying these SoL episodes because I know shit will hit the fan eventually so I am going to enjoy this shit as much as I can. If this keeps up this will definitely become one of my favorite isekais or even just show in general. The world building is really fantastic, probably has one of the most believable fantasy world out there. Happy 10th birthday to Eris though, Jesus she's going to be strong someday, will she become as strong as Ghislaine though? We'll see. The Greyrat family are truly uhh... Cultured men lmao. Good job Rudeus, you saved Eris from completely humiliating herself, that dance was great. That thing in the sky looks very ominous though. Really looking forward to the next episode, only 4 left fuck, I hope the 2nd season is only like 1 season apart from this season, so hopefully it comes out on summer. Also glad they're showing Goddess Roxy from time to time. |

| Hey, we got the birthday party of Eris! Took some hard training to get her to dance, and even then she falters in the moment. But Rudy helps him out, and this getting her the respect from their visitors. When I first saw the three girls coming up to Rudy, I said "HELL YEAH, OUR BOI RUDY IS GETTING A HAREM", and then Eris just took him away, is this a sign? Well aside from that, we got another message from our LORD ROXY, as she gives our young lad a textbook of Demon-God language, just what our boi wanted. We had a very nice scene where Rudy and Philip talks about their appreciation of freaking FURRIES. Rudy prefers the long ears, while Philip wants to grab some tails, either way nice connection between the two. There's also a very weird off-screen sex scene between Gramp Sauros and one maid! Yikes... Anyways nice episode, and when I saw Episode 8's title, I was like "Wait it's called Turning Point?! WTF". So it seems like it IS going to be the TURNING POINT of the series. Let's see where it goes. |

Actually almost all nobles are these exact perverts with their own kinks(See greyrat family with their beast man fetish) and while not trying to spoil anything these scenes are a seed to character developments in the future so bear with it it may seem like gags at first. |

Their education starts at young age and they were taught everything about social situations and since most of them get engaged before 10 and then get married soon after, to have kids by the time they turn 13, it really does make sense. and just by reading western fantasy novels which are also based on medieval times, I have come across lots of instances where nobles when they are as young as 9 start having sex with their maids. I mean yeah it sounds disgusting but our history is disgusting. Obviously, this novel exaggerates a lot for the sexual jokes, but I think it has been pretty evident since the start, that the new world runs on the themes of power and sex. The Greyrats owning so many beast slaves is based on exactly this and it comes into play later eventually. |

| Another mostly good episode :) I'm really glad the show is not focusing on fanservice and Rudeus perverted nature as much as before (it's only his thoughts now and not as visual at least) and Eris & Ghyslaine are actually really likeable characters. I don't think we needed to see a carbon copy of the noble molesting Roxy again - we get it, the men is this show are all sex-addicts and have never heard of consent, no need to show the same scene twice. I'm glad Roxy is staying in touch with Rudeus tho - she's a nice character as well and it's good to see her again. I'm really glad Rudeus didn't molest Eris in her sleep again, I guess we can thank Ghyslaine for that - that ring really seems to work, huh. The sex scene with the maid was really pointless tho, but I don't really mind it either - it just had no real purpose at all. I'm gonna take a hot guess and say that the floating sphere is a bad thing, cause the way it was introduced pretty much had "red flag" written all over it lmao. |

| Finally i have a time watching this after such a suffer situations. Thats some chillin background music, ngl. Then, man, Rudy and Eris danced like a damn profesional couple! Holy shit, kiddo, what a good step you've got there, ngl! So, thats the reason behind her sword practices. Well, its got a good result on your birthday party, Eris-sama.
