I'm honestly a bit confused because of the path they are taking in this say adaptation of the Webtoon like with mira getting the sword in the match. I like it but also if you have read the webtoon it makes like no sense.

Fantastic episode visually. But I couldn't help but be disappointed they tried to play the opposing team as being bad guys as a twist... they were literally wearing capes lol.

Yeah. It is like the chracters are being pressed through what the storyboard is telling them to do. Very little organic character growth, no thought process on their side, no logic to all the occurences. If this was just a novel it would be a complete failure. The visuals department is carrying so hard that their backs will break.

I'm seriously warming up to this show a bit, as lackluster the plot and how bad the pacing is I still find it enjoyable. Visuals and animation is enough to make up for it, at least for me it does.

God of Highschool is really starting to unveil a shit ton of godly contents here,plot and character wise and obviously apart from fighting scenes. I really expected this to happen from the anime becausse initially the anime started so slow and I really feel bad for those who dropped this anime or hated it because it’s just full of fighting without that much context.

Feel bad for Mori he’s just trying to save his granpa and risking the tournament, but ended up getting tricked so he will be dropped out from the tournament. But in the end after that explosion he hit his vitals spots like his master taught him to nullify all the pain for an hour but he end up dominating the guy who tricked him also his opponent in the tournament. In short they’ve just fucked themselves by awakening a blue dragon. I also feel bad for Mori after that one hour, he’s gonna be in real pain.

As for Mira. His opponent reaveling Mira’s sword, a nation treasure with hidden power (kinda reminded me of sacred treasure in the 7ds) and blaming Mira weak for not awakening it even if she continued training countless hours everyday just to keep her promise with Jin and Dae to fight with them together and be stronger. At the end Mira awakened her charyeok (that’s was a cool charyeok Lu Bu that kinda reminded me of a storical chinese game that I played when I was a child.) and ended up folding her enemy.

Lastly congrats Dae for your first kiss.

OMG they ruined so much this fighting scene. In webtoon it felt so tense like Goku vs Ginyu Force. Anime totally ruined it. Sad.

These last 2 episodes have been very good. Imo, the 2 best episodes in the season so far.

Might have to raise my score back up to a 7/10 for the season. (But I'll probably wait to see how episode 10 goes.)

The whole scene with suspended guy and kissy girl...wut? Haha

Green goggles just has insane power and potential. He's badass when he's angry.

Sword girl got her JoJo stand, and found out her sword is magical (or something).

Mira got her own power up but she's still nothing compared to Mori Jin.

Mori Jin destroying those guys were the definite highlight of the episode for me.

Mira had a pretty hard time with having to wait for missing Jin, fighting an imposter almost totally naked guy who is oiled up and her 'loyal' sword who initially recognised her weird opponent as owner. Good thing she got Lu bu as charyeok now and Jin arriving just in time to kick some ass.

Liked how Mira got the spotlight, but I'm really tired of our main trio getting beaten up for most of the fight and then somehow winning after hitting their opponent once. It makes for very predictable fights. Mira literally got stabbed in the gut a few times, but one hit from her Charyeok she's never used, and the other dude immediately loses.

I'm not even going to talk about Jin's fight because I have way too many questions. I feel like I'm missing some key details every episode, and I can't tell if it's not being explained or if I'm just that oblivious.

That was so meh. After reading the webtoon I can't fathom how much they have skipped. Not that the webtoon is any superior. It is definitely better than the anime but still the story lacks in a lot of areas.

The only good thing as of now is the animation by Mappa.

GOH is amazing...

A few stand out moments such as Mira's fight, even though it was obvious how the fight would turn out, it still managed to do it justice and her Charyeok is pretty neat

And did Daewi just mistakenly got himself into a random battle and earned a kiss from his opponent team? The kiss of death from one of Jegal Taek's teammates. That's quite a sight to behold...

Lastly for Jin, the raw emotion he portrayed really gave his character some depth and really gave both of his fights greater effect in the narrative...

Jin Taejin and Jin Mori, definitely Tigers, like grandfather like son...

Very good episode, it was obvious that it was a trap but it seems that Jin managed to overcome this without so many problems
New concept, National Treasure and Mira's sword is one of them, now we know why she and the sword are important
That yellow suit reminds me a lot of Kill Bill's.
I wonder if Han and Jin will also manage to get a Charyeok? we'll see
