| An episode about literally nothing... 90% of screen time where people drinking coffee. |

Yes, he visited the shop with Juuzo before, and he fought with the Owl I think twice so I think 3 past occurences. |

He really does a good job in bringing Kaneki's character to life. Maybe most the alternate route stuff will take place in the final 4 episodes like you say. Honestly speaking the way Studio Pierrot adapted this into 12 episodes, just shows that the anime could have been a masterpiece if it was 24 episodes explaining everything properly. Although we bash pierrot a lot(even I do, especially after Pain vs Naruto) it did give us GTO, Yu Yu Hakusho(a very good adaptation) and a very good second season of Kingdom. They have the talent but they waste it with their laziness |

| Yoshimura's backstory was pretty sad and well-presented. Dat OST tho. (^_^) Really awesome with the English. So they're preparing for war. CCG will soon raid Anteiku and many people will die, I assume. |

| The old man's always been one of my favorite characters of the series, so I thought this episode was pretty great. Nice that we got some backstory on him, despite how depressing it was. :( I hope he doesn't die in the next episode, but it looks like that may happen. |

| Amazing episode! Glad we got back story with Yoshimura on how he used to by his name Kuzen and had a lover named Ukina. I knew Ukina would be voiced by Minako Kotobuki. Her voice is so special and recognizable :) So i guess Touka and others won't be seeing Yoshimura and Anteiku now that he left them with Yomo and others. I wonder if he will die at the end? Wonder what happened to his child and all? Can't wait for the next episode! Wish we had more episodes like this! |

| When the manager was talking about Owl's back story, I was thinking "ah, so this is how the Owl became a big shot." But the moment he said "the owl appeared. My child", my jaw dropped and I nearly teared up. Looks like the big brawl is fast approaching, that last moment with them sipping coffee was very melancholic. |

| excellent indeed ;-; I loved the scene with Shinohara and Old Man Anteiku drinking coffee. I can't even say why, but that was just serene and lovely. Yoshimura's explanation about the coffee beans was meant to be an allegory for ghouls, right? Loved the song that played in the penultimate scene as well. |

| I laughed when Roma said she only broke 2 dishes :D Man ... the final few scenes in this episode, the suspense was killing me, waiting for CCG to drop in Anteiku. Was quite obvious Yoshimaru was talking about himself (Kuzen), quite tragic how his wife just died though. Seems we know who the one-eyed Owl is now, the child of Yoshimaru Just an amazing episode! |
