Asuna will want to use it to revive her mom and Yuuki will actually want to have her secret wish granted (which Kirito found out). Yuuki is in fact a man but want to turn into a woman and will use this expansion to reach his goal. Here you go, you are welcome I just spoiled you the rest of the season. |

| I like how they changed the OP animations for the arc, though it does reveal Yuuki's real gender and has spoilers as to whats to come. Shangetsu said: Asuna's mom will die and then she'll isolate herself in virtual reality. Exactly, so far only those that read the LN can see this coming... and it is a beautiful story, my favorite arc of SAO LN so far. How they changed the OP to be more Yuuki based was just AWESOME. GGO arc and especially Caliber didnt deserve people to be weekly watching and waiting for a new episode IMO, much better like I done (on hold from ep 6, was waiting for Mother Rosario to start, and now marathooned the anime till 19, and I will be watching it weekly). Mother Rosario deserves that much praise. |

| Even if Kirito didn't win, he is still way stronger than Asuna, so it would make more sense if he was chosen and he fought her first. Since they didn't show all of his fight, maybe he really didn't go all out. I guess it's going to be more ALO, ehhh. Asuna looks nothing like her mom? |

| Asuna's mother is a bitch, although i think she made some pretty good points back there... Also some characterization for Asuna, in S1 i liked her, in GGO i was indifferent about her, i wonder how much will she grow as a character from now on, also how the people that dislike her felt about this episode... Zekken is a girl, i believe her name was Yuuki? Kinda was expecting that already, i like her voice. Asuna did better against Zekken than Kirito? I knew she was strong but that's kinda hard to believe, just a bit though, nothing that bothers me. Animation this episode was good, nothing too special imo. Pacing was fine, nice balance between Talk, action and plot progression, although i think there's always room for improvement. 5/5 for this week, curious to see where this goes, since this arc has been fairly hyped since GGO.... |

Kirito with his dual blade ability was stronger than Asuna. With a single sword, Asuna was stronger than Kirito even back in SAO. People underestimate her a bit too much. She was the second strongest player of the strongest guild, second only to the cheated Heathcliff who also had an unique skill. |

| I really enjoyed this episode. I thought conveying the tension at dinner and her despair on her bed was done really well. The use of the quivering lips and her voice acting really helped. The fighting was pretty enjoyable. I kinda found the excessive dust and overly blinding glows a bit annoying at covering up the action and ending poses. I was really hoping they'd somehow convey the skill at which Yuuki is/was able to deflect Asuna's sword attacks at the last minute by barely deflecting her sword. Some slow motion and use of the eyes and maybe inner monologue would've been enough. Overall though I still thought the fight was awesome and I'm glad this arc will finally start to pick up. =) Can't wait to see the rest!!! |

The skill Asuna used is a simple one hand sword sword skill that is executed extremely swiftly, almost impossible for the eye to follow. Yet Zekken was able to see each and every strike and deflect it with one of her own. That's why Zekken's reaction speed is absolute. |

| Oh my god that animation during the fight... That animation was just flat out amazing. The voice actors did a great job in the Asuna and her mom scene. Could really feel the tension. Asuna's reaction to Zekken being a girl :D I wonder if Kirito would of won if he actually went all out... I think he would imo. |

| Hm probably one of the better episode. At least the emotional struggle in this episode is more realistic and not some forced melodrama. Unreasonable parents who doesnt understand a child's priority, its all so relatable because we've all been there. |

| Soooooo...Asuna's mom is kind of a cunt. And that's me being nice about it. Lawl at how her mom was talking like she knew everything, even though she apparently didn't give a fuck that her daughter was in a virtual coma for 2 years, and that she was held hostage by a psychopath even longer. Not giving a fuck about your daughter's life, and setting her up with Sugou...and mother of the year award goes to................ That fight was super epic. Not too long, but definitely the best fight since probably the Death Gun fight. Speaking of the Death Gun fight, I wonder how much better Kirito would've done if Zekken/Yuuki would've been a Death Gun like figure and it would've been a fight to the death. | The real life scene in this episode reminded me of everything I dislike about SAO's drama. I've watched enough to know I'm not dropping this yet, but I hope this arc improves Asuna as a character, because I've been disinterested in her ever since they escape SAO. |

And Sinon was forgotten roflmao not even appearing in the background <3 And the whole controlling mother plot is sooo generic.... Its not like I expected originality here though. The only fight Kirito losses in the entire anime is off-screen... and possibly because Kirito let her -,- and Kirito making excuses 'she bettah than me?
