Ikkaku didn't get defeated. Yes the show ends looking that way...I take it you don't watch previews for upcoming episodes very often. |

| OMG :O That was an awesome episode. It was totally great. I can watch it over and over again. Animations, musics, Hisagi ^^, everything, everything was great. I love it. (= Hisagi's sword was so cool. He was so cool either when he shaked it. I think i'm becoming in love with him =P Go Hisagi !! |
Is it me or is Bleach back to its glory days??!! And right before I got completely bored of this show, awesome^^ luved the Pendlum Episodes <3 These few episodes didn't disapoint me after finishing the Pendlum Arc. Can't wait for the next Episode to come out. |

| Ahh, this is what makes me an ever increasing hardcore fan of Bleach, I believe although most of the time it lacks quality after the Amagai filler, when episodes are made like this, it really helps you savour the moment. The next episode is not looking too bad either, might I add, damn it Ikkaku what the hell is wrong with you bloody hell, the guy looks torn apart. I guess his bankai is inevitable. |
| All fights should be like that one. Fast paced, oddly realistic (even for Bleach), less Shonen dialogue, and pretty much simple and straight forward. That was probably the best fight of the series so far. |

| Which do you think is the best? I found it really refreshing because it wasn't typical. I mean all the fights pretty much follow that format but this one was better because there was less talking, so ironically you weren't aware of "the format". |
| So I just re-watched the Ichigo vs. Grimmjoww fight, I think that might be the only one I consider on par with Hisagi vs. Crab dude. |

| I didnt think this was as special as some other people in this discussion thought it was a good fight and I'm glad Shuuhei beat lobster boy but it wasnt that special. Ikkaku is definatley not defeated this is Bleach afterall I hope we get to see his bankai again. |

| hisagi's fight was def. one of the best i've seen in a while, i replayed the beginning like 5 times. he has an awesome zanpakutou and doesn't like it b/c of the aesthetics !? oh well, it only took 219 eps. to see it *that hair cut would have been 11$ at the hair cuttery ;} *way of binding #62 sounds like chidori... |
| I didn't think the fight was that great. I was so eager to see it originally since we finally get to see Hisagi in a real fight and his released zanpaktou. As i watched it though, I thought, "damn is every pillar fight going to be like this, the shinigamis is getting their ass kicked until the very end where they suddenly come back" and then we saw Ikkakus pillar fall, I was shocked but excited for hopefully a change in pace for these pillar battles. Maybe Ikkaku refused to use his bankai, because he didnt want everyone to know he has one, we'll see. I just cant believe ikkaku would lose if yumichika could win, so he has to be alive it's Ikkaku! And the arrancar he's fighting now, is he really stronger than the first arrancar he fought and used his bankai on. And I hated the shaky cam in Hisagis fight. Hisagi's release form is cool and he really put it to good use, I just wish he would have started kicking ass a little earlier, so we could see more of kazeshini. Oh and that was interesting how he used that armband as an explosive, I always thought it was a tattoo. |

| Epic, hope the next 10 eps are like this before the filler starts. Was in awe for the last half, the new music helped a lot too. I'm also enjoying what the others regard as strength and what they do to achieve it. |

| I like the new fight per episode approach, it makes them more intense and not as much a mix of little action and lots of talking. Hisagi's shikai is really cool. When he said that guy wasn't fighting at captain level it made me wonder whether he knows what captain level is and therefore could be a captain in the future. |

| The animation in Hisagi's fight was amazing, definitely top tier. I had to re-watch those scenes like 3 more times. So Hisagi (Konishi Katsuyaki!) turns out to be the realist Shinigami. His release was freaking awesome and so was the battle and the outcome. Ikkaku losing wasn't really a surprise since he wont use Bankai in front of all those Captains. If he lost WITH Bankai, I would be shocked. |

| I liked Kira's fight more, and JunJun's chara's (sorry. mental blank on his name ^^") fight was also good. But the animation for this one is better, I guess. I can't help but laugh at the end of the episode though, 'cuz all the bilibili comments were all tsukkomi-ing stuff like "This is what you get when you don't use bankai" and "why the hell is the only guy who could use bankai the one that lost" as well as the occasional "Are the captains seriously just standing there doing nothing!?" |

| Hisagi's overall BA level is pretty high. Cool weapon, cool appearance, great skills and personality. I mean, did you see him skidding on the ground!? That was awesome! And I like how there was a bit of kido in there. Animation was excellent too. But then Ikkaku, my current favorite, fell. What?? Of all people, how does he get beat? I mean, even the captains were surprised. Finally a good battle though. Short, sweet and full of great action. If only Bleach had more of it. XD |

AAAAHHHHH!!!! finally 8D!!! 219 episodes later _xD! "like it's meand to reap itself" .....hmmmmh.... ....well, this just got good. mh... dat music -w-... well, i've loved Hisagi since the moment he first showed up on screen, saving his fight for this long, he's obviously the coolest character of this anime ;3 oof-... my heart... so much awesomeness in so little time... ahhh.. Ukitake -w-.... so little screentime, not a lot of action, but so adorkable in every way -w- ...but what was up with the captains saying "finally" when Hisagi released his shikai ._.'? ....he's so wonderful in everything he does though <3 still not as refreshing as Sesshomaru, but still.. |

| I truly can't believe that Ikaku was defeated, more so it was offscreen. I'm confident my dude can take on that fodder looking Arrancar easily, I mean, he had already beaten a stronger Arrancar way back. I think that he was forced into using his Bankai but didn't want to show it off to everybody else, so he took a rough hit? We shall only find out next. I've never seen Hisagi this ripped, I knew the dude could pull off a fantastic fight, ever since I've seen his badass appearance, they never gave him enough screen time to shine and this time was such a treat. In my opinion, his fight holds up among the best animated in the series so far, the image quality was a sucker for me, but the animation and how fluid everything was made me drop my jaw harder than he disliked his awesome looking Shikai. |

| I loved this fight! I also liked Shuuhei's opponent's theory about survival and Shuuhei's teaching about the appropriate attitude toward one's power and sword. On another note, like many others, I doubt Ikkaku was defeated, yet one thing is for sure: the pillar was destroyed. |

| Hisagi is officially the coolest lieutenant. This fight was so intense and honestly exceeds many of the captain tier battles so far. I'd probably rank it in my top 3 so far, right below Ichigo vs Grimmjow & Ichigo vs Kenpachi. Hisagi seems to still believe in the justice that he thought Tosen stood for. Hisagi & Kira's beliefs are similarly antithetical to the bloodlust that prevails in Squad 11. That's probably part of why Tosen was so repulsed by Kenpachi back when he confronted him in Soul Society. |
