| Another strategy episode which was great but mixed with ACTION. Even though there was only some I was able to see physical conflicts and the background conflicts between the People of the Land. The negotiation regarding strategy always gets me hooked with Log Horizon. |

| 5/5 Good episode, but I was less involved than expected, only the part concerning the negotiations and fighting liked them. The rest of the story was enjoyable, but nothing special. Too bad that the drawings are so unattractive, they should finish it more. I'm not saying I'm bored, but it was not as epic as the other terms of pathos. Good storyline that has not kept always and only in the foreground Shiro, but who knew how to put the Krusty and Princess as the fulcrum of the narrative arc. |

| Kids wrecking goblins in the woods is good and all, but what I want to know is what level those goblins are. If Minori and company are able to fight them it's safe to say they are level 20-30 right? If so a few of level 90 vets would easily just wreck the whole army... RIP table :( |

They *could do that though. It's not entirely impossible to do that. The old "tell not show" trick could go far. |

The Izumo Knights are NPCs (PotL) that have very broken stats and have been in ET before the apocalypse. DTP was a group of players who completed many difficult quests and raids despite not being a proper guild. Completely unrelated. |
| Not reading LN. Are the Izumo knights like security guards who stops PK in cities, or they're just there to provide a lore behind the GM throwing the switch on an unfinished expired quest ? Story of their heroic deeds are there, but nobody actually see them in action R4diance said: It's not because they can't do it. The pacing has always been like this. The action scenes would be there once the war kicks in proper but honestly they could just cram it into half an episode (Crusty and Shiroe fighting the horde) and it wouldn't really affect the story much. Action isn't the main draw of the series as w/ all Mamare Tounos works. |
| I'm not finding the pace of the series slow at all, I think it's perfect. I did find the princess's hand gestures during her little speech a bit exaggerated though. That's literally my only complaint. |

ZZZZfuckenZZZ Actually they've been mostly faithful to the source material sans censoring out some blood and gore and suggestive themes. So in this case it's as close to a mirror image as can be sans cutting out some scenes that may piss off people like you even more because of the amount of exposition and character development. Stop this stupidity about wanting Log Horizon to pretend to be something it's not. It's just utterly retarded. And yeah, you're not the only one who is screaming "Action! Action! We want more action hurr durr!" ad infinitum. There are actually a lot of you action junkies out there. And I'm not saying that's bad either since it's a matter of taste. It's just that you ought to have realized by now that LH is not that type of show. And it will never be. If you don't like it then there's the door man. Or just sleep through the whole thing. Whatever floats your boat. But at least stick around for ep 19. You'll get your action scenes then. I'm not sure if you'll be satisfied though. And they'll probably censor the blood splatter created by Crustys battle axe after cleaving those wee, lil' goblins. After this and maybe up until ep 20 or so there'll probably be little to no action scenes whatsoever until the end of the show. If you want to quit at this point then that would be fine. |

| Sure the whole war thing is interesting and all, but I wanna see more of the original group that Shiro was part of... That girl who introduced Shiro to the world of "gaming" or however you wanna call it. Also, MORE FIGHTING! I love to see new spells/skills and new fresh equipment! More focus on the game aspect of the series and a little less on the psykological please. And f off with the romance PLEASE! Don't make this into a romance anime like SAO did.. Don't.. Assasin girl liking Shiro is OK. Krusty liking Princess is also OK. Please, no more. Focus should be on the world itself with all the gaming aspects in it. Human romance and such trivial stuff shouldn't be focused as much as it is... |
| Alright, looks like I was definitely wrong about Lenessia being one of the Izumo Knights... which I'm kinda glad about, because this turn of events was much better. I think she's going to be my favorite character. |

Unfortunately most of the things you are wishing for wont come to fruition unless the anime completely deviates from the LN. As they are apparently staying faithful to the source material world/character building will still be the main focus of the series w/ short bursts of action. |
