I'm an average school kid. Anime is awesome, no end.
ALSO MY RATINGS:
11- :D Personal Favorites; Huge influence and not listed directly.
10- Awesome Anime, great to watch, Must recommend
9- Great Anime, was nice and would recommend
8- Good anime, Alright, up to par
7- Average Anime, neither good nor bad
6- Below Average Anime, can survive watching it
5 or under- Dropped or SUCK
My scales are more generous and higher than other animelist users because of how much I enjoy it. Therefore, the 10(Masterpiece) does not equate to all pieces as masterpieces but really enjoyable pieces. 10 may include my own masterpieces or anime that I must recommend.
Because my scale is skewed upwards it is also very common that I would drop an anime anywhere rated from 5-7. Usually, an 8+ anime is a range that I enjoy and will not drop. It seems as if this skewed rating is based off of how the school grading system works. 8 is like an 80%, B, or a 9 is like a 90%, an A, etc.
Another thing that I've realized over the years is that my rating system has changed. For example, I probably have SAO rated as a 10/10 because back then I thought it was a 10/10. Nowadays I would treat it more as a 7/10. These skews in rating depending on the value that changes over the years which is difficult to follow - as such, much of the ratings also have a time dependency feature built it that one has to consider when observing my list.
Thanks for checking my profile out! Happy Anime Watching!
