I see we are probably getting Mio's route next then.

It makes sense as I can't see her being able to participate in the baseball match as she is at the moment. It's not something you notice in the game but would be exceptionally apparent in the anime.

Seriously... was I the only one who got this vibe from her when she talked? She just stood there, with a blank stare on her face and spoke in monotone and it was hilariously creepy.

Little Busters is the worse anime I have seen in my entire life. This is the only anime I have ever dropped because I can not take any of it's awful episodes in. Hell, even SAO isn't as shitty as this. SAO may be awful in multiple ways, but it AT LEAST has some redeeming qualities.

This shit only gets worse and worse. First, Komari's arc was such garbage and solved so quickly and easily, that I don't even think it's worth being called an arc.

We're 10 episodes in, and the damn story still hasn't gone anywhere. Yes, I realize that they are introducing all of the characters one at a time (as mediocre as they are), but the episodes should still be entertaining, not boring snorefests.

Seriously, a whole episode on making cafeteria food? A whole episode on finding a roommate for the loli? -- OOPS I mean Kudryakva Noumi. This isn't character development. This is what we call a train wreck.

Now I will say that little busters isn't as boring as Clannad's first season, but it is damn close. However, unlike Clannad, little busters humor is unfunny, and the animation sucks.

If KyoAni had done this instead, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have been nearly this bad, and it would've been 10x better than Chuunibyou (Which in my opinion, is over-rated and generic at best, but since it's KyoAni, IT MUST BE A MASTERPIECE ALL HAIL KYOANI THE MASTER OF MOE)

KyoAni wasting their time doing a generic anime, while they could've done Little Busters and I'm pretty sure it had the potential to be better than Angel Beats and Clannad (Both Seasons). I consider Air, and Kanon (2006), to be crap anyways.

I lol'd @ Mio's little joke this episode. CAPITAL PUNISHMENT. Well, Riki was right about her though being lonely, sitting there with that umbrella under a tree.

I thought to myself before they even mentioned it that the Little Busters team would try to recruit her this episode. Well, that's exactly that.

Well, I guess the VA roles were played well this episode but once again, I found it a bit boring. Some people I've read comments on another anime forums mentioned the OST was used well. Overall, meh episode imo although something is going to happen according to Riki. I just hope that "something" turns into an interesting arc/plot.

Still fucking glad KyoAni did NOT do LittleBusters as I would have missed Chuunibyou and still only mildly enjoy this key adaption.

The blue-haired girl actually seems likeable, mostly because she does not speak as annoyingly retard-ish as Komori and the pink-hair. I guess it's futile to wish for normal haircolors though :/

I probably sounded more spiteful than I intended, sorry. Reading Nipah's post triggered old animalistic rant instincts.
I probably regret this post by now.

SAO has redeeming qualities?Like what, Sugu's boobs?Lol.

One thing that automatically makes Little Busters in the long run better than SAO is that SAO's source material was shit to begin with and it has been terrible throughout it's whole (soon to be over) 25 episode run.

Little Busters's source material isn't shit and the anime isn't nearly over yet(2nd season will probably come after this). Refrain is amazing and even if JC Staff fucks it up it will be at least decent in the worst case scenario. It's just that good.
I could be wrong though, this is JC Staff after all

Nishizono seems like a polite yet strange girls she also seemed a bit pessimistic and unable to trust others which makes her distant from the rest of the class.
She didn't even consider that her good del down and someone picket it up with the best intentions of giving it back to her it also looked like she had a lot of trouble asking others for help with her lost book.
Besides that i don't know what to think of her i have seen that many people like her but personally i don't see what she adds to the Anime maybe that will change after a few episodes.

Rin being changed by the other girls because they wanted to feel her arms was pretty funny especially the reaction of Kurugaya who seemed to be in heaven for a moment.

I liked this episode! I seem to like Mio a lot more now than what I remember. Of course, I haven't seen much of her in the VN though. I love how much I can relate to her. In fact, I teared up a few times in the episode.

What "Adolescence" do you have?
Do you remember "Childhood"?
The irreplaceable one existed there.

I kinda wish more anime could be like this too. Even though this is a VN adaption and most of these tend to start slow anyways because of how they're formatted, I would still like to see more anime build up towards a strong finish rather than putting too much effort into the initial impressions as it tends to bring down the quality in the long run. There are exceptions, of course, but not for the majority.

Kyoto animation didn't screw up with Clannad/Kanon, and those were realllly long VNs. But they at least kept a good flow and pacing between arcs, which is good for nonreaders. I don't mind for changes and such since i never read the vn.

One thing I run across a lot in episode discussions in general is the exaggerated statements made on anime people dislike. While I have seen a handful of legitimate complaints here, I would say that most of them tend to go a little overboard. It's either one extreme or the other, if this anime isn't a brilliant work of art, it's a piece of shit because THERE CAN BE NO IN-BETWEEN!

It'd be foolish to say that this adaption has been done to its full potential, but it sure as fuck isn't bad. Even with the cuts they made to Komari's arc (which is my 3rd favorite in the game), I have yet to experience anything less than quality enjoyment from this series.

I don't know why but I'm attracted and more interested in Mio. Her mysterious aura, her unemotional face, her low and soft voice, her cynism, her way of speaking. I'm always drawn to quiet, calm, and mysterious types. I don't know if she's classified as Kuudere.

Anyway, I hope to see more of her in future episodes.

I don't get why there's so much bitching on this site :/

I'm a VN player and really like this adaptation. I'll admit they had some pacing problems at the start yes, but they've pretty much sorted that one out. The idea of a character an episode is great as it gives much more room to get people familliar with characters. For the ones who complained about Mio this ep; what? I noticed somone made a huge deal over the fact that she wasn't on the verge of tears in the episode. Seriously? You could still tell she was pretty damn upset by it and I felt it was a little more in character to not cry. She's always monotone and melancholic, no matter the situation, so no crying sort of fits. Also, you all treating Clannad as it was amazing and 10x better than LB. Clannad was just as poorly received at first and still had the same problems (excluding animation) at the start. Do you not remember what they done to the Tomoyo and Kyou arc? They completely butchered them!! And those two were some of the best ones in the VN as well! KyoAni are no where near perfect and LB itself is pretty difficult to adapt into an anime anyway.

Even eating lunch is melodramatic in this show, that bird speech was absolutely dreadful. The awkwardness of the fanservis is rather laughable.
Also why did Kurugaya instruct Naoe to help Mio look for her book, suspecting she saw the scene happen? If she didn't, then that seems like quite a far-fetched deduction.

There are people who will completely ignore the story and can't wait. - These people will drop score
People who hate the art and or studio. - Will also drop the score.
Completely agree with what you said.

I bet if the animation was done by say someone like KyoAni this would be rated higher. Judging by MAL people that's the trend I notice. Hell even I rate KyoAni adaptations high because of the Animation and they usually don't fuck the story overall. JC staff is doing an okay job, but it's really mediocre.

Isn't JC Staff 'just' responsible for the Animation and not the script, composition, character designs, music, etc? Weren't these people who did those roles just hired to work on this anime and are not actually part of JC Staff? (i don't actually know if thats right at all) but can you only blame JC for the animation and nothing else?
