| Cute first episode. Love the art, it's awesome :3 Pretty funny as well. I really like Nagi and Yuuko, I personally find Tooru quite annoying. Run is all right so far, so ... :P OP and ED (well, both of them? XD) were both awesome as well Hope it gets better though, but interesting so far :P |
| I wasn't expecting much from the MAL summary and from what I've heard other people saying about it on blogs and whatever, but I thought it was an okay episode. Nothing really stood out for me though, maybe because I couldn't help but compare it to other shows while I watched. :b |
| Not a bad first episode. I hope they don't overuse the boob slap like they did in this episode. Though the way Tooru walks toward Yuuko afterwards is pretty funny. |

| A Slice of Life where a character (Tooru) feels insecure and even jealous as a result from being away from her best friend (Run) for a whole year is very rare in my eyes. Rarely has a Slice of Life show ever felt so serious to me on the very first episode. (And boy does that sound contradicting. Seriousness in MY Slice of Life?) Of course there were lots of not-so-serious and humourous moments as well which didn't really make me laugh, but brought a smile upon my face. C: Tooru has really grown on me throughout the episode. She seemed to be feeling somewhat melancholic and lonely due to being one year younger than Run and thus, unable to be in the same class as her. On top of that, she realizes that Run has also made new friends and seemed to believe that she wasn't as important to Run as she was before. However, Run assures Tooru that "nothing has changed" between them implying that Tooru is still just as special as she was before. Soon after, Nagi and Yuuko join in and start hugging Tooru to show how much they also want to be friends with her. It was this scene that completely won me over and made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside~ All in all, I loved the first episode and enjoyed every bit of it. As a side note, I felt this was totally different from the other Slice of Life show airing this season, Nichijou. While Nichijou seems to focus primarily on the gags and making its audience laugh, A-channel didn't seem to ONLY go for the humor. (Of course, this is only my impression based on the first episode. This is subject to change.) |

| I don't know if I enjoyed this or not. Tooru kinda ticked me off in the whole episode. The other characters seem okay, but I like Yuuko more. |

The music did indeed remind me of Lucky Star, and even the character design with the whole loli look for highschoolers. A good first episode, ending was kind of meh but it seems like it'll turn out to be a great slice of life series. Btw Tooru is so cute |

This is subject to change.) The big difference between the two is that Nichijou goes straight for the comedy, but A-Channel tries to get some characterization in. Actually, I'm kind of wondering more about Nagi and Yuuko, since they have the least personality so far. | I liked the first episode.... I have good hopes too.... I liked the fact that wasn't too boring like the first episode of Lucky Star (ten minutes discussing about how to cook onions) or Azumanga Daioh (a little static) |

| It was interesting I'll give it that but Run is waaaay too simple minded and I don't like obsessive characters like Tooru but other then that it was pretty good. |
| I wasn't really planning on watching this (Not a huge fan of series like Lucky Star or other series that are a group of four girls) but figured I would give this a go since I had some free time. I actually wound up liking it quite a bit. A lot more then I thought I would. There were some really cute characters and I loved the interaction between them, my early favorite turning out to be Yuuko, she seems like a nice character and I do feel a bit bad for her, she wants to be Tooru's friend so bad XD It's like seeing a puppy that really likes someone who doesn't like dogs. |
| Randomly stumbled upon this one while searching for new animes to watch this season, and boy was this a good find. Tooru's obsession towards Run leads to most of the funny moments in this seres. Lol at the boob slaps due to jealousy and chasing away the boys who try to approach Run with a bat she keep with the cleaning equipment. |
