And anyway daywalkers don't even exist in traditional vampire legends. They where created lately by comics and Hollywood and until now Shiki was pretty loyal to the classic image of a vampire. |

I don't have any question xD and it was still nice, seeing this episode. It's exactly the part where the manga chapters were lost, so I can't wait to see the 17th to see how Akira's doing xDD |

| JUST TO REITERATE TO THOSE THAT MIGHT HAVE MISSED IT: RE "WEREWOLF" AND WHETHER IT WAS A SPOILER OR NOT: It was mentioned in the last episode (referred to Tatsumi as a "jinrou", which means "werewolf") and we had a whole discussion about it near the end of the last discussion post (ep 15). You are incorrect. Tatsumi was the person that turned the Doctor's wife into a shiki. Why wouldn't a werewolf need blood? This is crazy Shiki universe, where a werewolf is a subset of the undead/shiki ("vampires"). Who knows what the fuck kind of logic they use. |

| My god, could this episode have been any better? They had an adorable Sunako, lovable Megumi being her lovely self, epic Natsuno sitting on a tree and a pulse-pounding ending where I think he will be saved by. Dumb brats blaming everything on Megumi because she is the hottest Shiki. |

It's a shame they left that out of the anime. I think anime staffs omitted that scene with the intention of keeping consistency of story and Tatsumi's action. If Tatsumi had bit and killed Toshio's wife, he could have detected Toshio's plan that makes his wife be shiki. Tatsumi should have known whether her funeral takes place or not. it was kind of unnatural that it didn't goes so in the Manga. in this anime, on some parts, seems staffs're trying to adapt and revise those kind of incoherences. like, strange old woman was staring Akira running to that house in this episode, and also in next episode 17, they changed story much. |

| Poor Akira. I'm hoping Natsuno comes in to save the day. Though IMO, being a Shiki > being a human. Only problem is the uncertainty of rising and the rather agonizing death. I would've considered the gamble if it were me. Oh and the other guy was a werewolf. Completely expected it. |

| Once again, Tatsumi is portrayed as an absolute monster. Leaving the watch in front of Akira was an act of nightmarish cruelty. Hopefuly, Natsuno or Toshio deals with him in an appropriate manner, although a Shiki "victory" in the village seems an almost foregone conclusion. |

Tohru remains my favourite Shiki :P Ozaki put a smile on my face just by appearing for one minute. And Natsuno...doesn't he seem to be the special kind of shiki, just like Tatsumi? I mean, walks around in daylight and stuff... Also, Sunako's shrieks inside the coffin were terrifying x__X |
