| If after the first episode I was biased towards the screenwriter, then after the second I literally began to feel sorry for him. Maybe I myself can’t stand too crude adaptations, but he accepted with honor how crudely the author of the original manga roasted him. @0451 I thought his "let's reduce the depth and cut out a couple of characters" attitude was too rude, but it seems Abiko had some sort of tantrum because the staff wasn't going to do everything the way she wanted. It might seem like a debate between opposites, but unlike her, he was at least willing to listen to his opponent's opinion. But I also wonder why they couldn't discuss it between the two of them instead of middlemen who aren't even involved in the creative part of the production. |

Uh, are you guys okay in the head? Most of you are blaming the author and emphatetic towards the scriptwriter but you're missing the point... Oh, dear. No one even understands the feelings of that author character than me. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

If I have trouble sleeping, I watch Oshi no Ko season 2.
This season has been so slow and boring! I find this play completely uninteresting but it sounds like it's gonna be a major thing in this season. Will there be any plot progression this season?? | @tectacles It's only been 2 episodes and none of them are movie-length like what the original anime had. It's not like a lot of shows have instantaneous plot progression after only a couple episodes. I find the series in general pretty boring (especially the backend of season 1 with the idol stuff) but it's understandable why every twist or dramatic event in the world has not happened instantly with a start of a new season. |
| Second episode is better than the first episode. I like how Tokyo Blade author being strict.... but saying those mean words toward Goa is not really acceptable... Next episode is a dating episode eh? I don't know why Kana thinks Aqua and Akane look so close.... But I think Aqua look so uninterested with Akane... |

In Japan, there was an incident about six months ago in which the manga author committed suicide due to a dispute between the manga author and the drama production staff.
This episode had been the subject of a manga two years before that incident......

| The opening and ending sequences are fantastic and so are the sub performances. This is so much hype, I hang on every word every week. S1 was slow but this one's going down really smooth. Entertainment tantrums are funny. |
| GOA couldn't have like a 30 min sit down with the author to discuss things? She doesn't seem terribly busy. I know we have to make the entertainment industry look as shitty as possible but I don't think you always need to go through 5 proxies. |

Is it me or are the first two episodes lacking something? I know it is still a bit early to judge things, but I feel like the show lost a bit of its identity. I really like Oshi no Ko and I hope that the next episodes will bring back the tension and the amazing character developments.

| I feel bad for the scriptwriter lol. I guess this play gives us an insight on how hard and terrible the conditions are when an anime or stage play for a great selling manga is greenlit. Creative differences are bound to arise when many people are involved. |

| I'm sorry but I think Akibo has a point but I think she is mad at the wrong person as it is clear due to all the people that see her comments before the scriptwriter reaches them. They are left out on an island is the creator doesn't like it because someone with an ego think they know better. So I feel bad for him as he is pretty much being made to look like an idiot when he loves the work and understands it but due to other people getting their hands all over it they made this mess. |

| That author person was sooooo mean, if the main problem they had was miscommunication with the script revising, her confronting the author was the perfect opportunity to talk with him about what she wants to correct, but she literally just insults the man, all sensibility has left the chat, that was so uncalled for. |

| I felt so bad for the scriptwriter. I hope we see some resolution with his character, but it’s possible that we just move on from him entirely. I also understand the mangaka’s frustration too. This is such a good anime. (9/10) |
