| Decided to check it out because of all the memes and I gotta say I see some potential here. The art is great and while a bit slow and chliche for a start, I feel like the whole story of like Yakuza and Sorcerers kinda appeals to me since it isn't really a combo I would expect. I like the way the artist draws gore and seeing the hanging bodies was kinda shocking for me to see in a Shonen Jump manga but I think that worked in its favor to add some shock. I will try and keep up and I hope that it doesn't get axed since I want to see where the story goes from here. |

| PEAK FICTION ON GOD π£οΈπ£οΈπ₯π₯π₯ If I am being honest I can see it getting the axe the premise seems to shallow and the MC seems unlikable for most readers , I hope that the author will deliver because jump is lacking some big action titles now that BC is leaving and MHA is getting 3 pages per week. |

| Well drawn. The deviation from the father-son dynamic to jump into action scenes. Especially since it may have been out of order in the version I read. Was a bit confusing. But the backgrounds are fantastic. Worldbuilding has a lot of potential with the "war" and everything that is not this. |

| I wouldn't exactly count on this getting an anime, a bunch of people in the west are memeing on it but that doesnt mean its gonna save it from the axe. Hell if anything it might even be increasing the chance of cancellation if there isnt an actual substantial amount of people that stick with it past the reddit ass PEAK BRO memes cause imagine how this looks if a bunch of people flock to only the first chapter or 2 and then theres a gigantic drop off in readership, thats like prime cancellation bait right there. Even then when it comes to jump the west basically does not matter for the new series its entirely down to how the Nips receive it. |

Frankly, what a gory manga, they're wielding the power of.. 'blood'? and it's unpredicted that a swordsmith/weaponsmith would be the main character being one out for a bloodbath. All those goons were completely slaughtered (yes truly brutally). Thus, I can confirm our protagonist is very 'human', one with a dangerous conviction. It's so monstrously intoxicating. I'll keep reading the next issue!!! |
