Finally Slasher arc's done with. Glad Anri's got her good ending...kind of. The perverted teacher is finally off her trail. Hope Haruna and her father are doing well. So the town's divided into three groups now: Dollars - controlled by Mikado Yellow scarves - controlled by Kida Slasher people - controlled by Anri Three best friends who're supposedly going to rebel against each other just for each other's sakes without knowing who the others are. Nice. OMFGIZAYAYOUSONOFABITCH He IS pulling all the strings. And he seems like he wants the slasher army. I wonder what for. He already has celty's head so let's not forget that. His motive needs explaining. And finally! In the next episode they're gonna tell us what happened between Kida, Izaya and Saki. It's going to be soo kickass like all the others. This series BETTER get a good ending. |

| I thought the 3 group is......Izaya and Mikado and yellow scarves If Anri(saika) is in the group why not include Walker,Shizuo ,Celty or even the police in the group?......For me those guy are not trouble maker but they are more like peace maker. Anri wishes that everyday will be the same.Same as walker. ( I bet there will be a special Arc for Walker also,or is it the Arc for Walker is already over.....Can't remember..(sigh),,,,) |
| Gimmie the next episode!!! I've been waiting for the Yellow Scarves Arc like forever!! So finally Saika Arc finishes...Though I don't really enjoy that much. So whose fault is this? Mikado?Anri?Masaomi? For getting Masaomi back into the yellow scarves and gonna beat up the dollars and the slashers cause of Anri getting hurt? It's like beatin up bestfriends, Mikado, Anri and MasaomiD: Of course the last part was awesome, Masaomi is so badass^^ Can't wait for Saki to show up;) |
| I really liked the episode but well....I must admit that it was pretty anticlimactic. Here we were thinking that we were about to see an awesome sword fight with Anri and all we get is a light stab. Shizuo's fight made up for it a bit but you can't help but feel a little cheated. I love the show. I am still trying to figure out between Baccano and Durarara which I prefer but I find the shows so different that I can't even compare them. Baccano was an thrill ride that sped through the story like lightning but Durarara slows the story down to a pace. Both styles have good points and bad points. With Baccano there was little character development and it was difficult to get into(Took me at least four or five episodes) when you don't know what you are in for. Durarara on the other hand is has the most major problem of not releasing it's build up. The episodes keep building up your hopes only to lead to a rather unimpressive conclusion. So if the series ends without releasing this then a lot of people will be feeling unsatisfied. We still have seven episodes left. An ending is something that can make or break an anime. Considering that the novels are ongoing I am trying my hardest not to get my hopes up. This is where Durarara becomes either a great anime or a good one. |

| Oh sweet irony that the three main organizations fighting for Ikebukuro are lead by our three dear friends, Mikado "Dollars" Ryuugamine, Masaomi "Yellow" Kida and "Anri "The Slasher" Sonohara. Once again a brilliant episode with great script and character developments. Everything's coming together really nicely and coherently. Definitely something Durara!! has that Baccano!! didn't. |

| I liked the asskicking but the animation clearly isn't at baccano level. the grey people make a lot of sense and the fake higurashi clone kinda fails at slashing Anri.. but overall, good ep. |
| Shizuo was great. Just, WOW. He really is powerful, I think Izaya really underestimates him. Finally more Kida! Anri's arc was really boring me. The mindless slashing wasn't really all that interesting. |

| ^ Isn't Mikado the black king of the chess game? (I don't see a king on the pic of Izaya's board though. Nor do I see a queen of that matter) Anyway. Shizu-chan was very badass this episode and I'm starting to think Celty's kinda weak. Sure Shizo is strong but... Lately she's been afraid of everything. That cop, Shizo and hell even the slasher (long haired girl) scarred her. Oh the irony of those three friends being the gang leaders that Izaya is setting up against each other for his war to test whether or not Celty is a Valkyrie. x'D |

| 5/5, perfect episode. Shizuo's fight scene was as great as I expected it to be, I'm loving him more and more. It sems as though Selty has a thing for Shizuo? Yes, I know the pair 'respect eachother'. Anri is becomin more and more interesting; after all she has been through, she deserves something going her way.;) Still, Selty is underestimating herself, saying she couldn't beat Anri? Perhaps she was trying to boost her confidence? I knew from the cstart that Kida was some kind of gang member; he knew too many people; many of these people are shifty, yet he's 'happy-go-lucky', suspicious. Lastly, I'm guessing Izaya is an alien.:p Or another 'mythical' being? |

| The identities of the three leaders was just some seriously good irony! Best episode yet. My opinion of this show just went up by another point (Now rated 9/10) |
| Shizuo's Dragon Ball style rampage was priceless x'D Anri seems cooler with each episode. I disliked her, as I thought she was weak, but now she's one of my favs. Niekawa and Nasujima got owned, finally. I like how DRRR has so many references, first there were Baccano characters, then "ippen shindemiru" and now Kino's Journey {{I think I even heard something from Kuroshitsuji}}. Izaya surely doesn't seem like only 17 years old. Anri, Kida and Mikado, just add Chuck Norris and there you have it, the world's end. |

You can tell, though, by how he was saying "They dragged me back." that before the series started, he was with the Yellow Scarves, which are actually not the Dollars, but a different group. |

I just hope this whole anime doesn't end up all sad and gloomy. I think there are so many depressive animes already. Episode 16 was a huge twist, it went from action/comedy/parody to drama/horror and possibly angst. Let's just hope it doesn't become tragedy. |

| i can't believe how izaya can control everything in that town!! and how he messes with those 3 they all want to destroy eachother for eachothers sake without knowing that the leaders are actually best friends and the one who made that all happen is izaya i sometimes wonder if he is a genius or an idiot xDD but even so i love him : ) but i wonder whats going to happen now that war broke out between the gangs... wahh and this shitty cliffhanger!!! but... is izaya really the mastermind behind this or is there someone else who's controling izaya? i can't wait till next week!!! |
Loved it. Whoever thought (beside you guys who read the novels) that these 3 students would each be leading their own little army/gangs? I'm happy Shizuo and Anri got to cut loose a bit as well. |
